Transform Justice is a national charity working for a fair, open and compassionate justice system. We believe that evidence about what works to reduce crime and prevent reoffending should be at the heart of policy decisions and embedded into practice.

The role
We are seeking a dynamic senior campaigns and communications officer to drive our public impact. You will lead communications for our high-profile FairChecks campaign for criminal records reform, coordinate our popular podcast, and elevate the digital presence of Transform Justice. This is a multi-faceted role combining grassroots movement-building, digital marketing, and creative content production.
The role is home-based and you will use your own equipment, so you will need to be able to work on your own with little day-to-day supervision. There is the option to work at an office in Old Street, London up to two days a week with other Transform Justice team members. The team also meets regularly online and for fortnightly in-person team meetings in London.

We are seeking a Social Media and Marketing Executive to join our team and support our mission to end homelessness. What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of our dynamic Fundraising and Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Communications Manager and the Digital Marketing Manager to build the Social Bite brand. Your skills and enthusiasm will help drive footfall to our social enterprise coffee shops, raise awareness around homelessness, and amplify our fundraising initiatives. No two days are the same in this fast-paced role that covers the whole marketing mix.
Powerful storytelling: we need to create content that shines a spotlight on our key impact projects, like our Jobs First employment programme and our free food services. You’ll play an integral role in increasing awareness and engagement with our two new Social Bite Villages.
Maximise our digital presence: grow our online following through engaging social media content (especially videos), digital advertising, newsletters, and a website redevelopment project.
Large-scale campaigns: support the marketing and communications activities surrounding fundraising initiatives like our UK-wide Festival of Kindness Christmas campaign which aims to deliver 300,000 gifts, meals and essential items to people who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness through the winter. This includes a large-scale online fundraising campaign across multiple channels. In this role you’ll take the lead in managing Samaritans’ communications and media activity relating to rail suicide prevention. You will manage the delivery of our important Small Talk Saves Lives campaign and other targeted awareness campaigns. You’ll also lead on media relations for our rail programme, identifying opportunities to ensure Samaritans’ is visible in relevant media stories.

This role includes management of internal and external communication channels at Variety including the website, supporter newsletters, social media and PR. Leading on brand and design, you will oversee freelance support during busy periods including photographers and filmmakers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MAIN BENEFITS, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
25 days holiday (we also normally give between Christmas and New Year off, but this is not contractual). We’re looking for a highly motivated and passionate senior PR officer to play a leading role in the delivery of Girlguiding’s ambitious and integrated media strategy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience delivering creative, high impact national and regional PR campaigns to engage target audiences across a wide range of media. They will have an excellent news sense, extensive knowledge of UK media and the ability to identify and maximise PR opportunities. They will feel confident briefing Girlguiding’s young spokespeople as well as senior management, produce high-quality press materials and have a strong social media know-how. They will also have experience in line management and crisis and reputational risk management.
The post requires working outside of 9-5 office hours, such as evenings and occasionally weekends, to be part of the press on-call rota and to travel to other locations as necessary, for which time off in lieu and an allowance will be given.
