About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing, Communications and Engagement team in a newly created Marketing Communications Officer role.
This role exists to support the planning and delivery of integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and impact across our Brand, Services and Fundraising activity. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Officer and Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a key role in bringing campaigns to life across social media, email, web and paid channels.
You’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating content tailored to different platforms, ensuring campaigns are delivered consistently, on time and aligned to agreed objectives and KPIs. From drafting social content and email campaigns to updating website journeys and supporting paid activity, you’ll help deliver joined‑up campaigns that create a seamless experience for our audiences.
By supporting campaign execution and performance tracking across channels, you will help improve reach, engagement and conversion - ultimately ensuring more musicians and people in music can access our services and support.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience supporting or delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of how content and messaging adapts across social media, email and web. You’ll be confident creating and publishing content, and able to write clear, engaging and accessible copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Highly organised, you’ll be able to manage multiple campaign elements, deadlines and incoming requests, while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable using data from different channels (such as social, email and web metrics) to monitor performance and inform improvements.
You’ll bring a proactive, collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in creating effective, audience‑focused campaigns that deliver impact.

Your role
As a Senior Legacy Engagement Manager – Stewardship and Blended Giving, you will focus on:
- Inspiring and managing the team, working in partnership with the other Senior Legacy Engagement Manager, to deliver a world-class stewardship programme for legacy supporter
- Leading the development of a more structured, insight-led stewardship approach, ensuring clarity on when a personalised, relationship-led approach adds the most value
- Supporting and guiding Legacy Engagement Managers to prioritise and build relationships with supporters most likely to leave significant gifts
- Driving a more proactive approach to identifying and engaging high-value legacy supporters, moving beyond passive acquisition routes
- Playing a key role in developing our Blended Giving approach, working closely with the Philanthropy team to connect legacy and major giving opportunities
- Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to deliver a seamless, supporter-centric experience that secures and grows long-term income
- Using insight and data to continuously evaluate and improve our stewardship approach, identifying opportunities to enhance supporter experience and value
- Contributing to the wider legacy strategy, helping evolve our approach to meet new opportunities and challenges
About you
As an experienced fundraising or engagement leader, you’ll be comfortable building meaningful relationships with supporters, working collaboratively across teams and inspiring others to deliver excellent stewardship.
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Strong leadership experience, including managing and motivating a geographically dispersed team and driving performance
- Demonstrable experience in managing high-value relationships, including stewardship of major donors or legacy pledgers
- Experience of developing and delivering personalised engagement approaches that drive long-term value
- Proven ability to use insight and data to inform decision-making and prioritisation
- Experience of working across teams to deliver integrated approaches, ideally including exposure to both legacy and major giving
- Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and drive change in a complex organisation
- Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, practical delivery
- A valid driving licence

About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Content Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You’ll lead on all content across the organisation, including two blogs (our Career Advice blog for candidates and our Recruiter Insights blog for recruiters), our email and e-newsletter copy, sales collateral, product messaging, PR campaigns and anything else needing an expert editorial eye.
Annual leave: 25 days (+ bank holidays)
Reporting line: you’ll report to the Marketing Director and be part of the Marketing team.
Hours: 9am-5.30pm (with reduced hours of 9am – 5pm in December and August). Flexibility will be considered.
Working arrangements: this is a hybrid role, with two fixed days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) working in the office.

Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage the DUK project portfolio
- Become a subject matter expert in applied and translational research in DMD, allowing informed decision making and effective communication with key stakeholders
- Support identification of new project and collaborative opportunities, including the ongoing management and delivery of our applicant-led funding call
- Support the Director of Research and Development in project scientific review, working with the Scientific Advisory Board, Patient Advisory Board, Senior Leadership Team and DUK Board of Trustees
- Manage project development and initiation, including contracting, the development of detailed project plans, including go/no-go milestones, and budgets
- Manage and oversee project delivery, including monitoring of progress, according to agreed timelines and deliverables (including written updates and formal reports), and managing project finances, including reviewing and approval of invoices and monitoring project expenditure
- Support research budget forecasting in liaison with the finance team and the Director of Research and Development, and ensure compliance across the project portfolio
- Build and manage relationships with external partners and maintain regular communication through the project life cycle
- Support the Director of Research and Development to identify areas of strategic focus to inform the development of new research programmes
- Contribute to and support the development of DUK led research proposals for external funding and work with the income generation team to identify opportunities for research funding
Research governance and processes
- Maintain and improve, as relevant, internal processes for research management and governance
- Act as system owner for the research functions within DUK’s CRM (Salesforce), maintaining records and driving process improvements for grant workflows and monitoring
- Support the Director of Research and Development in research governance activities
- Support the Director of Research and Development to ensure compliance with the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) requirements, such as - contributing to annual data collection and surveys; implementation of AMRC processes and reviews recommendations, as relevant; keep up to date with relevant news and opportunities for training, collaboration and networking
Support the Director of Research and Development on the following external engagement activities
- Development and implementation of outreach and engagement activities in the DMD patient and research community to inform areas for research focus and prioritisation
- Scoping and development of formal and informal strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholder organisations (e.g. membership societies, other charities, consortia etc)
Support delivery of DUK flagship strategic programmes
DUK has strategic programmes in clinical research access and capacity, care standards and care access, assistive technologies and patient data. Under the oversight of the Director of Research and Development and working closely with the relevant programme team:
- Coordinate key programme updates and discussions between the DUK team and the programme teams
- Working with DUK comms team, support the development of external comms and marketing
- Working with the Director of Research and Development and the programme teams, support development of new initiatives and external funding opportunities
Other key responsibilities
- Provide general research admin support (e.g. arrange research meetings, both internal and external, prepare agendas and take minutes)
- Work with DUK comms team to identify case studies and success stories and support the development of the research comms strategy
- Coordinate research comms and work with the Director of Research and Development and comms team to ensure all research content is accurate and appropriate
- Work with the income generation and comms teams to provide updates to our key co-funding partners
- Support the collection of portfolio data across all programmes for DUK KPIs and to support DUK impact report development
- Coordinate and deliver research led events and support the Director of Research and Development in the agenda and content development for the annual Duchenne UK New Horizons conference
- Travel across the UK to attend meetings with partners

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting a Communications Lead to join Working Well Trust. This is a 35-hour per week role, Monday to Friday, based at our Bethnal Green office with travel to other offices and boroughs when required. Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days on site per week. Occasional evening work may be required.
This role will lead and deliver Working Well Trust’s communications activity across digital, print and internal channels, ensuring that our content is engaging, accessible, timely and aligned with organisational aims, service requirements and brand standards. The postholder will also support contract mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and effective internal communication across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with strong communications, digital content, copywriting and design skills, who can bring creativity, structure and initiative to a growing mental health and employment charity. You will work closely with the CEO, Operations Director, HR Advisor, service teams, clients and external stakeholders to ensure our communications reflect our values, services and impact.
Experience of working in the voluntary sector, mental health, employment support, disability or neurodiversity would be beneficial, but above all, we are looking for someone who is committed to Working Well Trust’s aims and able to communicate our work clearly, sensitively and creatively.
What you’ll be doing
- You will plan, write and schedule engaging content across Working Well Trust’s social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, ensuring posts are timely, accessible and aligned with our organisational aims and, where appropriate, the funding requirements of individual services.
- You will update and maintain the Working Well Trust website using WordPress, ensuring content is accurate, current and accessible. You will also liaise with our website developer to resolve faults and support structural changes when required.
- You will create marketing and promotional materials in line with Working Well Trust brand guidelines, including leaflets, flyers, posters, banners, presentations, infographics and impact statements. The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) is looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to join our small but ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how we engage with healthcare professionals, partners and the public.
Role Purpose
The Communications and Marketing Officer plays a key role in supporting the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) by delivering effective, professional and engaging communications and marketing activity. The post holder will work autonomously to plan, create and manage content for a wide range of audiences including healthcare professionals, patients, policy makers, partners, and the wider public.
They will work closely with external key partners and take responsibility for project marketing, including leading the marketing and promotion of the Moving Medicine patient and professional resources. The role also supports all internal departments to meet their communications and marketing needs, ensuring a consistent, accurate and credible voice for FSEM across all channels.
Duties
Communications
- Deliver and support the implementation of FSEM’s communications strategy.
- Produce high‑quality written content for the website, newsletters, digital channels, policy communications, announcements and general audience information.
- Draft, edit and coordinate organisational publications, reports, position statements and guidance documents.
- Support committees and working groups in producing clinical or professional content, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with FSEM standards.
- Draft speeches, blogs, statements and briefings for Senior Officers as required.
- Manage and maintain FSEM’s digital communication channels, ensuring content is accurate, accessible and up to date.
- Monitor policy, news and sector developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide advice on communication approaches to senior officers, committees and working groups.
Marketing
- Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns for key FSEM programmes including Moving Medicine, examinations, membership, awards ceremony and educational activity.
- Produce and coordinate promotional materials including digital assets, social media graphics, printed items and campaign copy.
- Manage marketing timelines, stakeholder input and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all marketing adheres to FSEM brand guidelines and reflects organisational values.
- Support and promote major Faculty events including the Awards Ceremony.
Digital and Analytics
- Oversee continuous improvement of the FSEM website, ensuring strong user experience, logical navigation and accurate content.
- Apply SEO best practice to enhance visibility and reach.

Job summary
The Senior Policy and Research Manager will play a central role in building MNMUK’s advocacy arguments both globally and within the UK. The postholder will lead MNMUK’s flagship research projects, developing and commissioning new research, managing consultants, writing compelling reports and supporting the team with widespread dissemination across donor markets and media.

Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics or Wagtail is desirable, as is knowledge of the charity or membership sector. Expectation of occasional/regular travel and work effectively within and outside the UK.
This is a part-time position 22.5 hours per week - Wednesday - Friday.
