This role is focused on providing strategic communications leadership to the Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub), with an emphasis on web and digital media. The ambition of this role is to support GDI Hub into its next 10-years (having just celebrated our 10-year anniversary), with ownership of our expansive web and digital portfolios.
The post holder will work with the Director of Global Engagement and the GDI Hub comms team to elevate the organisation’s portfolio of public facing touch points. The role will combine core responsibilities of website ownership and content development, alongside providing experienced and strategic leadership for the communications function.
GDI Hub has evolved from a start-up to an established medium sized organisation in the last 10 years. This new role is strategically important in defining the future direction of the organisation's web presence and communications strategy while providing senior level leadership and expertise within the team.
A key requirement of this role is to provide deep technical knowledge of website management and development, enabling the post holder to systematically consider GDI Hub’s online portfolio and strategically develop our websites and digital footprint in a way that builds engagement, increases impact and supports storytelling. This includes developing client-facing digital assets that clearly showcase GDI Hub’s brand, products and impact to external audiences such as funders, partners and media.
The role will initially be focused on the digital portfolio with responsibilities both for content, platform management and longer-term vision. A key focus will also be editing and curating strong narratives to showcase the depth and breadth of GDI Hub’s work. As part of a small but highly proactive and ambitious team, this position will have a strong output focus
This senior position will in time take on line management responsibilities for two members of the communications team. Management experience is essential, as is a track record for leading a fast-paced communications and content team, with responsibility for project and programme outputs. The role will require the ability to balance priorities, manage incoming requests and ensure the communications function is delivered in a streamline and strategic way.
They will also lead the strategic thinking required to align GDI Hub’s web and digital platforms to present a collective voice, dynamic and vision of the organisation. Suitable candidates will showcase broad experience in communications including content capture and amplification (socials), digital design, web development and event delivery, both online and in person.
Across all elements of the role, the successful candidate will need to work collaboratively and dynamically. This role will work closely with members of the GDI Hub team, including Senior Leadership, and will interact with external partners, collaborators and stakeholders. What you’ll bring
As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced and proactive digital professional with strong website and paid social media expertise, able to create engaging online content, use performance data to drive improvements and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an accessible and effective digital experience across Anna Freud’s platforms.
- You will have proven experience using content management systems (CMS) to update and maintain websites, with strong attention to detail and confidence troubleshooting website issues

- Experience using GA4 and other analytics tools to monitor website performance, identify opportunities and support data-informed decision making

Main purpose of post
This is a new role for the marketing team at Weston Park Cancer Charity. The Communications and PR Manager will play a critical role in telling our story, championing our mission, and amplifying the voices of patients, families, clinicians and supporters.

Pathway's Business Development Manager plays a key role in our small core team, working with staff across the organisation to develop our offers to NHS partners and building and managing relationships with external funders and partners from the statutory, charity and corporate sectors. Reporting to the Chief Executive the postholder plays a leading role in developing strategies to increase our impact, diversify our revenue streams and support the spread and replication of evidence-based models of care and service improvements, emerging from Pathway’s own work and our wide inclusion health networks.
The main tasks are:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Research and identify opportunities to spread Pathway's models of improved care, including new routes to NHS commissioners, budget holders, and innovative funding mechanisms. With senior support, identify target contacts and generate leads to develop and diversify Pathway's revenue streams and carry out planning to adapt to the external environment.
2. Grant Writing & Funding Applications
Lead and co-ordinate the development of high-quality grant applications and service business cases, working across Pathway's teams to gather evidence, articulate impact, and make compelling cases for support to NHS commissioners and Trusts, charitable foundations, and corporate partners.
3. Relationship Management
Build, manage and track relationships with NHS commissioners, system partners, clinical champions, corporate partners and funders through new and existing mechanisms. Represent Pathway externally, developing a deep understanding of commissioners' and funders’ needs, and propose ways Pathway can plan to meet them. Help staff, Fellows, and close partners to understand these needs and how Pathway may need to change in response.
4. Marketing & Communications
Work with the Communications Manager to develop promotional campaigns and marketing materials that increase Pathway's impact and externally generated income. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Pathway's care innovations and service models, and promote these in an NHS-appropriate style. Keep abreast of developments in the NHS to ensure Pathway's communications and marketing activities connect with current health service concerns.

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a skilled, relationship driven and commercially minded Senior Account Manager to support the growth of our groundbreaking data initiative, Prostate Progress. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the point where healthcare innovation, research, data, and commercial partnerships meet. Playing a pivotal part in ensuring that industry partners receive exceptional service, clear communication, and the highest standards of delivery.
As the day-to-day lead for commissioned studies, you will own and develop a portfolio of relationships across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, MedTech and research organisations. Ensuring seamless coordination between clients and PCR’s internal delivery teams and driving renewed commissions and expanded account value.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in account management, an ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables, and a passion for working in a purpose driven environment where partnerships drive real world impact for people with prostate cancer.
As part of representing PCR within the life sciences ecosystem, the role will involve both UK and international travel. Including attendance at client meetings, conferences, partner briefings, and key industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Client and partnership management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for PCR’s partners commissioning data-related activities, coordinating structured communication through kick‑off meetings, milestone reviews, and issue‑resolution processes.
- Build and grow strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring clarity of expectations, accurate project tracking, and timely delivery of all commitments.
- Develop tailored account plans to strengthen engagement, act as a trusted advisor to partners, drive renewals and repeat business, and drive year‑on‑year revenue growth.
Pipeline development and new business support
- Work with the Head of Business Development and Director of Partnerships to contribute to commercial discussions and maintain an organised, strategic pipeline of commercial opportunities across life sciences and research sectors.
- Lead the development of expansion opportunities within existing accounts, helping shape compelling, commercially viable proposals.
- Develop study scopes, timelines, budgets and value propositions that reflect both industry needs and PCR’s capabilities.
Internal Coordination & Project Delivery
- Collaborate closely with PCR’s Head of Project Delivery, Senior Data Analyst, Translational Research Director, and Finance to ensure internal readiness and alignment on all contracts.
- Translate client requirements into clear internal plans.
- Facilitate clear handovers, milestone planning, and resource assessments that support timely delivery and mitigate operational risks.
- Maintain oversight of project progress across active accounts.
- Proactively surface project risks, blockers, or capacity issues, ensuring rapid escalation and problem‑solving.
Commercial Oversight & Reporting
- Shape pricing strategy and commercial recommendations, including value‑based pricing and cost‑benefit narrative development.
- Track financial performance of contracts, supporting accurate forecasting and revenue monitoring with Finance.

- Act as an ambassador for PCR’s mission and the value of Prostate Progress.
Skills and Competencies

Experience
- Significant experience in account management, partnerships or client leadership roles.
- Experience working with and/or within pharmaceutical, NHS, biotechnology, MedTech, clinical research organisations, or related scientific/healthcare environments (desirable).
