We are looking for a Project Administrator to support the delivery of our Horizon Plan – a collection of projects at the heart of Westway Trust’s new strategic vision. You will provide essential administrative support across a range of projects – from local economic development to archiving initiatives, working alongside senior managers and community members.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to be involved in design, delivery and evaluation meetings. It is ideal for someone who is proactive, well-organised and eager to make a positive impact

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Support up to five projects of different scales and size, all of them important to the Westway Trust.
• You will work with at least 3 different more senior managers who will be briefed about the range of your projects. You will be expected to use excellent time management to accommodate the peaks and troughs of the range of projects and manage the expectations of the project leaders.
• One of your projects will be the secretarial function of the Safer Neighbourhood Board working with the Chair. This will involve taking minutes, arranging meetings, distributing papers for the meetings, booking spaces and circulating actions and diary arrangements for the participants.
• You will support a new Economic Development Project and an Archiving project, both for at least one day a week. These projects will be newly designed and you will be part of this working with the project managers and community members.  This will involved taking meeting notes; circulating information; collecting and processing data and processes relating to payments of project related invoices; liaising on all aspects of project administration, scheduling and reporting.
• You will nurture positive relationships and information flow within the project groups.
• You are a key member of the project delivery team and will be expected to demonstrate the Trusts Values and to work positively in accordance with the Trust’s Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Health, and Safety Policies.

Purpose of the role

We have access to a unique dataset within the kinship care space, and we want to use these data to better drive change – including how we develop and deliver our services, how we influence policy and practice informed by evidence, and how we use the experiences of kinship families to drive positive change.

You may want to work remotely or spend 1-2 days in our London office to spend time with colleagues.

Key responsibilities:  

• Data management: Bring together data securely from multiple sources such as Salesforce, Form Assembly, Engaging Networks and spreadsheets – helping to ensure it is clean and easy to work from. 

• Data analysis and reporting: Conduct statistical analysis on datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for service improvement, policy formation and evidence building. Present findings through reports, dashboards, and visualisations. 

• Performance tracking: Assist in tracking and evaluating the success of charity programmes by working with teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing practical actionable recommendations for improvement. 

• Data quality and integrity: Help ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of data across systems. Support colleagues through implementing best practices that lead to improved data quality whilst maintaining data privacy and security standards. 

• Data-driven insights: Provide helpful insights that support everyday decision-making across the charity, ensuring that internal actions are based on reliable data and external campaigning is based on robust evidence,

• Data visualisation: Develop simple dashboards, charts and visualisations to communicate complex information in a clear, easily understandable way for non-technical stakeholders and the public where relevant. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, including senior stakeholders, to identify data needs and provide the charity with accurate, relevant and timely data that contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, enhanced efficiency and evidence-based decision-making. 

• Ad hoc analysis: Perform other analyses and reporting tasks as needed to support service performance, business development, fundraising, advocacy and research activities. 

Essential knowledge, abilities, skills and experience include:

• BSc or equivalent practical experience in data analysis or a related field 

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R and/or Python

• Experience with PowerBI or equivalent data visualisation systems 

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data to generate actionable insights 

• Intellectual curiosity and ability to self-direct analytical work 

• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM system 

• Ability to clearly present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analysing data 

• Exceptional business-partnering skills

About the Role

The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. 

Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £52,088 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

 About Alexandra Rose Charity 

Founded by Queen Alexandra in 1912, Alexandra Rose Charity (ARC) has a long history of supporting people experiencing poverty in the UK. Our vision is for everyone to have access to healthy and affordable food, and our mission is to give families on low incomes access to fresh fruit and vegetables in their local communities whilst advocating for systemic change to address food insecurity and health inequalities.

Since 2014, ARC has pioneered the use of financial incentives to improve access to healthy food and combat food insecurity through our Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg projects. To date, we have supported over 11,000 families, including over 20,000 children, to access £3.5 million of fresh fruit and vegetables in their local communities.

To deliver this scale, we work with 73 children and family centres and community organisations, 69 market traders and independent retailers, two fruit and vegetable vans and one fruit and vegetable delivery box scheme. We estimate that our projects have generated a total economic value added of almost £9 million for the local economies of the eight locations where we work: five London Boroughs, Barnsley, Liverpool and Glasgow.

As part of our new five-year strategy, we want to grow our reach and impact as part of a national movement where Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg projects are embedded in local and national policies and seen as a key intervention for transforming the diets of communities across the UK.

About the role  

As we launch our new 5 year strategy we are looking for an experienced Head of Finance & Business Services to help deliver our mission and support the growth and consolidation of the charity. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will play a key role in implementing our new strategy as well as managing risk.

You will take overall responsibility for the organisation’s financial management, working closely with the Chief Executive and the Treasurer.

You will provide effective finance business partner support to other functions within the charity to support its fundraising, operations and development.

You will also be responsible for the line management of the Finance & Business Administrator, working with the Chief Executive to both oversee and support the business services function of the charity.

The post holder is responsible for the delivery and development of all METRO’s HIV services. They will provide strategic leadership for METRO’s work in the HIV domain and line manage a team of managers. They will be responsible for the financial direction and strategic growth of the HIV domain, overseeing and developing new programmes for the charity. They will ensure our services are delivered to a high standard and are co-produced with people living with and affected by HIV.

METRO runs various HIV prevention and support services across London and the Southeast. These services include Pan London and local HIV prevention services, HIV support services including advice and advocacy and family support, HIV peer mentoring and counselling services. Many of these services are delivered in partnership with agencies such as the GMI Partnership consisting of Spectra, Positive East, and our partners such as The Love Tank and African Advocacy Foundation. Our services are also embedded in other sexual health partnerships, such as the SASH programme, which consists of our partnerships with Turning Point, London Friend and Naz. We also work with several NHS Trusts as part of our work with the London HIV Fast Track Cities programme and wider programmes.

Through the appointment of a Strategic Programme Director (SPD), we have been given an opportunity to bring a step change in our mission and ministry across the Diocese of Coventry.  With a history of innovative missional practice and a dedicated team of lay and ordained leaders across our diverse geographical area (Warwickshire, Coventry and part of Solihull), we are looking to appoint a strategic thinker who is solutions focused with experience in bringing impactful change. The SPD will join us at an exciting time in the strategic development of the Diocese of Coventry as our new diocesan bishop takes up her responsibilities with a vision to see all churches flourish. A highly consultative approach will be needed as we look ahead to the beginning of this new season.

The Strategic Programme Director will be responsible for contributing to and supporting the Bishop’s Senior Staff Team and key lay and ordained leaders in the delivery of the diocesan strategy. The role will ensure that the programmes, projects and workstreams within the plan are delivered on time, within scope and budget. The Programme Director will provide oversight of the strategic plan from inception of ideas through implementation to delivery of projects.  Working collaboratively across the Diocese, the role will also ensure that key outcomes are well-defined, appropriately prioritised, delivered to plan and within budget. The role will include shaping and scoping the request for partnership/external funding.

Programme Development & Planning

• In the first year: To prioritise the clear articulation of a diocesan wide vision and direction of travel through working closely with the Bishop and the Bishop’s Senior Staff Team building on the work achieved in recent years.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop strategic initiatives aligned with the diocesan vision and strategy
• Ensure strategic proposals have clarity and viability
• Ensure effective communication with clarity, consistency and transparency
• Work with senior leaders to prioritise outline proposals
• Work with senior leaders to develop change proposals including detailed outcomes and the process by which those outcomes will be achieved
• Regularly assess the viability of development proposals
• Work with partnership funding bodies, including the C of E Vision and Strategy Team, to submit funding proposals and assure the quality of applications for any partnership funding
• Represent the Diocese in discussions with partnership funders
• Work with senior leaders to make the best use of central resources to support change

Programme Management

• Facilitate the launch of partnership-funded strategic projects, ensuring they are appropriately planned, resourced, measured and managed.
• Establish appropriate programme governance, including risk management, change management, regular reporting, and budget management
• Work with the communications team to ensure consistent and effective messaging
• Establish review and support processes to ensure projects are delivered successfully
• Ensure intervention processes are developed to pause, or if necessary, terminate projects that have demonstrated they will not deliver
• Capture and publish lessons learned, and support research studies
• Build consistent protocols for all significant strategic development initiatives
• Track progress against a detailed project plan, deliverables, outcomes and measures
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs, escalating to BSIG as required
• Provide support for operational aspects of projects in liaison with diocesan colleagues

With the end of bear bile farming in Vietnam now within reach, Animals Asia is entering an exciting new phase – expanding sanctuary capacity, entering new markets, and securing long-term care for every rescued bear.

Animals Asia has spent over 25 years working to end cruelty and restore respect for animals across Asia. With teams in Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, the UK, and beyond, they combine advocacy, direct rescue, and sanctuary care to create systemic change. Their mission to end bear bile farming – arguably the world’s cruelest form of animal abuse – is almost complete. In November 2023, they opened their third bear sanctuary which will enable them to bring home every last bear and achieve their founding goal in Vietnam by the end of 2026.

Their global fundraising and communications team is driven, well-structured, and rooted in the charity’s deeply held values. Income has been steadily rising since 2017 and they have the people, plans and investment to maintain this growth.

The Trusts and Foundations function has grown substantially since being unified globally in 2020. Income has more than doubled, donor relationships are well-managed, and new business is actively developed. With a 2024 target of $1.3m and strong pipeline visibility, this role focuses on securing and stewarding 5- and 6-figure multi-year partnerships, with particular scope for growth in the US and unrestricted giving.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fundraiser to join a highly collaborative team and benefit from a structured, mature function where ambitious fundraising is supported and celebrated.

As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will:

• Manage and grow a global portfolio of 5- and 6-figure funders, including multi-year partnerships
• Develop compelling, tailored funding proposals and impact reports, often for donors with limited direct project access
• Deliver high-quality stewardship, with regular updates and relationship-building through video, email, and occasional travel
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to develop powerful cases for support
• Lead on identifying and cultivating new prospective donors through research, network mapping, and strategy input
• Use CRM systems to manage pipelines and track communications effectively
• Support the Global Director of Partnerships and work closely with a peer Trusts and Foundations Manager

Ideal skills and experience:

• Proven success securing 5-figure+ grants from global trusts and foundations
• Strong written skills, with experience tailoring proposals to global funders and funder motivations

* worked for at least two years in a children’s home within the last five years.
* worked for at least one year in a supervisory or management role in a children’s home
* experience of direct work with people who have moderate to severe learning disability, and/or autistic spectrum conditions, significant physical impairment and/or complex health needs.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent or willingness to commence within three months of appointment.

Salary: Starting salary will be £45,365 per annum, increasing to £52,750 upon completion of probationary period and relevant Level 5 qualification

Children’s Homes

Our clients Children’s Homes are at the heart of their Children’s Care Services, providing a safe, homely environment for children with a physical disability, complex health needs and a learning disability including Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Located in the Bolton area, their Children’s Homes are ordinary houses, indistinguishable from their neighbours. However inside they are adapted to suit the individual physical and sensory needs of the young people who reside there.

Up to four young people live together in an environment which is based on ordinary life principles. While they are supervised by a dedicated, experienced and well trained staff team, the Children’s Home is the main home of the young people.

Life at the children’s homes is built around positive activity, with staff actively encouraging children and young people to try new experiences and participate in a wide range of sports, activities and interests in the evening and at weekends.

Main duties of the role include:

- To promote the welfare of children and young people and ensure they are protected from harm
- To ensure regulatory compliance under the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection
- To become the Registered Manager of a designated children’s home following the due process of registration
- To manage and supervise a team of Children’s Support Workers
- To ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies, whilst creating safe, positive, nurturing placements for children and young people
- To provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company requirements

The Head of Operations and Projects will oversee the infrastructure of our charity. This position will involve fostering a motivated and engaged volunteer base, strategic oversight of our BUBR Africa initiative and conducting impact analysis of our activations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement, skilled in project management and possess a strong analytical mindset.

The post holder is responsible for delivering and developing all METRO’s mental health and youth services, and some of our community projects. They will provide strategic leadership for METRO’s work in the mental health and youth domains, line managing a team of managers. They will be responsible for the financial direction and strategic growth of the mental health and youth domains, overseeing and developing new programmes for the charity – particularly in the area of training and education, including Relationships, Sexuality, Health and Sex Education (RSE or RSHE). They will ensure our services are delivered to a high standard and are coproduced with people with lived experience of mental health and young people.

Importantly, they will also be the charity’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), to advise and support the charity’s approach and plan for safeguarding, as well as providing direct safeguarding support to both frontline and managerial staff.

Purpose
This vital role works alongside the Head of Philanthropy to help build and grow our philanthropic partnerships over the next five years and beyond. As well as building upon current relationships, you will identify, research and cultivate relationships with charitable Trusts and Foundations as well as major donors to raise both restricted and unrestricted income.

Responsibilities and areas of work
This important role will focus primarily on Trust Fundraising but will also encompass Major Donor Fundraising. It will seek to identify new high-level donors, as well to develop existing relationships with our generous supporters. Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, other team members and external consultants, and in collaboration with our colleagues in the
Programmes Team, the Senior Philanthropy Officer will focus on building our trust portfolio – with a focus on donors giving £5k - £100k per year

1. New business acquisition:
a) Researching new individuals and trusts to build a prospect list for future funders, using our database (Salesforce), available lists and external databases. Assessing the potential for active, lapsed and prospective donors to support CBM and recording accordingly.
b) Recommending tactical next steps for engagement with new individuals and trusts, for approval by the Head of Philanthropy.
2. Stewardship and cultivation of current and active donors:
a) Developing and implementing tailored stewardship plans, so that individuals / trusts are engaged in a bespoke manner, and that application and reporting deadlines are met.
b) Leading on the production and submission of applications, proposals and initial approaches (by post, email and, to a lesser degree, phone) and following up as required.
c) Reporting to donors in a formal or informal way, as appropriate, to ensure they are kept up to date with CBM and project developments                                                                                                                                                               d)Organising, facilitating and attending face-to-face and online meetings with high-level donors/ trusts, including organising dates and venues, and creating Meeting Briefs for all attendees to ensure positive outcomes.

3. Proposal and Report Writing
a) Designing and crafting compelling proposals, reports, project timelines and budgets that meet the bespoke needs of donors whilst meeting the needs of CBM and our Programme delivery colleagues, within agreed deadlines.
b) Working with members of the Programmes Team to ensure the accuracy of proposals /reports, and with members of the Fundraising & Communications Team to ensure consistency of messaging.
c) Working with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team to develop new projects/ themes/
appeals for potential projects.

4. Other Team Responsibilities:
a) Helping to develop the Annual Forecast Budget for the Team, and providing updates on the pipeline and progress against targets.
b) Ensuring all information, donor activity is recorded and kept up-to-date on our database to fully-inform any approaches / meetings.
c) Providing proof-reading and copy-editing support to colleagues.
d) Monitoring the activity of related organisations and the fundraising sector, identifying changes, predicting trends and making recommendations as necessary.
e) Helping to develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM, and promoting positive working and innovation.
f) Ensuring that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.
g) Carrying out any additional duties as required by the Head of Philanthropy and Director of Fundraising, Impact & Communications

You will provide short-term counselling to LGBTQ+ adults and people living with or affected by HIV. Your approach will be empowerment-based, culturally sensitive, and in line with BACP standards.

You will work both independently and as part of our wider services team. We will support your development through regular supervision, reflective practice, and relevant training opportunities.
