Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the UK's leading charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis (CF). About the Role

Every year, incredible supporters across the UK raise funds for people affected by cystic fibrosis. We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to help us celebrate, support and encourage those fundraisers in their local communities, ensuring they feel valued and connected to Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

By volunteering with us, you'll help ensure fundraisers feel valued and supported, and we'll give you everything you need to feel confident in the role. Full training and support will be provided.

As a Community Fundraising Volunteer, you'll play an important role in helping us build relationships with fundraisers and supporters in your local area. Whether you're attending events, thanking supporters, delivering fundraising resources or sharing local insight, you'll help ensure fundraisers feel appreciated and connected to the impact they're having.

This is a flexible, ongoing volunteer opportunity that can fit around your existing commitments. 

What You'll Be Doing

You could support us in a variety of ways, including:

• Attending fundraising events and representing Cystic Fibrosis Trust in your local area. 
• Thanking supporters and organisers, including giving a short speech if you're comfortable doing so. 
• Delivering and collecting fundraising materials and resources. 
• Collecting and returning collection tins and donation boxes securely.
• Sharing local knowledge and helping identify potential fundraising or partnership opportunities. 
• Providing occasional support to Community Fundraisers with local fundraising activities and events.

Experience in fundraising or volunteering is helpful but not essential. We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of cystic fibrosis, either directly or through a family member, although this is not a requirement.

Fundraising Manager (volunteer) - Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of Equal Aqua's fundraising strategy in line with business objectives, and the vision and values of EAU;
• Lead an international team of volunteers to execute the fundraising strategy, delegating and managing responsibilities as appropriate;
• Lead EAU Fundraising team to raise income through multiple channels: grant and charitable foundation applications, corporate sponsorship, individual and community giving, and creative fundraising events;
• Manage a portfolio of existing supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors;
• Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to EAU;

About The Stray Cat Charity (TSCC)

The Stray Cat Charity is a newly established UK-registered CIO working to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome stray cats in Greece, starting in Patras. Our current priority campaign is to raise £35,000 to build a dedicated stray cat shelter in Patras, Greece, which will provide safe housing, veterinary care, and a pathway to adoption for vulnerable cats. Role Purpose

We are looking for a motivated volunteer to support the growth of our charity by helping identify and connect with potential supporters in their local area. Wear Yellow Day is one of Cystic Fibrosis Trust's flagship fundraising campaigns, bringing people together across the UK to raise awareness and vital funds for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis.

Since launching more than a decade ago, Wear Yellow Day participants have raised over £1 million to support Cystic Fibrosis Trust's work. We're now looking ahead to Wear Yellow Day 2027, taking place on 11 June 2027, and are seeking enthusiastic Champions to help us build on that success.

As a Wear Yellow Day Champion, you'll help spread the word about the campaign through your own networks. Whether that's encouraging colleagues, inspiring friends and family, promoting Wear Yellow Day within a school or community group, or sharing campaign messages online, you'll play an important role in helping make the campaign a success.

By joining us early, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape ideas, build awareness and generate momentum ahead of Wear Yellow Day 2027.

We're looking for people who:

• Are enthusiastic about supporting Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Wear Yellow Day.
• Enjoy encouraging and inspiring others.
• Feel comfortable communicating with a variety of people.
• Are confident sharing information within their own networks and communities.
• Have access to email and basic digital communication tools.
• Are passionate about raising awareness and supporting people affected by cystic fibrosis.

Previous fundraising or volunteering experience is welcome but not essential. We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of cystic fibrosis, either directly or through a family member, although this is not a requirement.

Time Commitment

This is a flexible, campaign-based volunteering opportunity. While momentum typically builds during the six weeks leading up to Wear Yellow Day, Champions are welcome to contribute throughout the year in a way that works for them.

Want to get hands-on experience in fashion photography while supporting a good cause? As a Retail Photographer with Together Trust, you'll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, capturing stylish shots of brand-new and vintage clothing to help raise money for our life-changing services. You’ll be working with a fun, creative team and using your photography skills to showcase clothes donated by big names like Boohoo and preloved gems from our local community.

You’ll also have the chance to level up your social media game by posting your shots on platforms like Vinted, helping us sell these items and fundraise in the process!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers of all backgrounds to get involved – no previous experience required, just a love for fashion and a desire to help! All we ask is that you bring your energy and creativity. You can stop volunteering at any time, and you’ll always be supported by our team.

More about the role:

We need a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to help us photograph stylish clothes for online sale, raising funds to support our young people while gaining valuable experience in fashion photography and social media.

What you will be doing:

- Measuring donated clothes and recording information for listing
- Steaming clothes and styling them in a way that makes them pop on camera
- Capturing high-quality photos of donated clothing and accessories
- Highlighting unique details like buttons, patterns, beads, and embellishments (review our - Photography Handbook for help)
- Helping raise vital funds for Together Trust’s life-changing services
- Help us on Mondays (10am-11am) or Fridays (11am-1pm)

The skills you need:

- Keen to learn and able to follow instructions
- Good eye for style (we’ll show you the ropes if you're unsure!)
