Childs Charitable Trust is a long-established Christian grant-making charity, founded in 1962, distributing significant funding to UK-registered charities advancing the Christian gospel in the UK and overseas.

We are seeking up to three Trustees to strengthen and refresh the Board. As a Trustee, you will help steward financial resources drawn from property and investments, discerning where funding will have the greatest Gospel impact. You will review and assess grant applications, engage directly with mission partners, and contribute to strategic oversight, governance and risk management.

This Trustee role offers the privilege of combining faith, wisdom and practical judgement to enable ministries to grow, respond to crisis and reach those who may never otherwise hear the Good News.

Key responsibilities:

• Shape and approve strategic grant-making decisions
• Provide governance oversight, safeguarding integrity and sustainability
• Review and score applications, weighing impact and risk
• Support and appropriately challenge the Chief Executive
• Contribute actively to prayerful, values-led board discussions
• Time commitment – 4 meetings per year

The Role

As Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will play a hands-on role in delivering end-to-end recruitment while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet organisational talent needs. Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Delivery

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from role briefing to onboarding.

About the role:

We are currently seeking qualified, women solicitor, barrister and qualified legal executive volunteers to provide legal advice on our Family Law advice line. All volunteering is done remotely and you must be qualified to practice in England and Wales.

What will you be doing?

We offer a safe space for women to talk about their situation and receive expert legal advice to enable them to make important decisions about their future.

For 50 years our free telephone advice lines have provided vital legal advice for women experiencing  domestic abuse on issues such as protective orders,  child arrangements, finances and divorce or separation.

We ask all our volunteers to:

• Provide advice on our advice lines for one 2-hour session a month (minimum);
• Attend the induction training session provided by Rights of Women;
• Give clear and accurate legal advice to callers;
• Be non-judgemental and non-discriminatory in their approach;
• Follow our procedures for making records of calls and obtaining monitoring information;
• Keep up to date with the law for the relevant advice lines;
• Attend all agreed advice line sessions (remotely);
• Inform us as soon as possible if they are unable to attend an agreed session;
• Abide by Rights of Women’s procedures, standards and policies, including equal opportunities and confidentiality in relation to staff, volunteers and users.

The Role:

As our Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead the strategic development and growth of our global portfolio of corporate partnerships. You will identify, secure, and steward high-value, multi-dimensional partnerships that provide financial, technical, and in-kind support to the organisation and its National Management Teams.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships or business development, including 5+ years in senior roles.

• Proven success managing high-value, complex partnerships with corporates or foundations.

• Strong experience negotiating agreements involving technical support or capacity building.

The Role

As Mission Funding Executive, you will lead resource mobilisation for Project Yananai in UK/Global, ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of our programmes. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will shape strategy, secure diverse funding streams, and build strong donor and partner relationships to power our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a national fundraising and resource mobilisation strategy aligned with organisational goals.

• Contribute to strategic planning and leadership as part of the Senior Management Team.

Donor & Partner Engagement

• Build and manage relationships with donors, corporates, foundations, and government partners.

• Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

• Lead donor stewardship, retention, and engagement activities.

Proposal Development & Reporting

• Oversee high-quality proposals, grant applications, and concept notes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or resource mobilisation within non-profit, NGO, or mission-driven environments.

• Demonstrated success securing funding from diverse sources (institutional, corporate, foundation, government).

• Strong experience in proposal development, grant management, and donor reporting.

• Experience contributing to senior leadership or management teams.

• Relevant degree in fundraising, development, business, social sciences, or related field.
