Task Description
Fundraising volunteers will take part in a variety of activities to raise money for WFRC - some planned at the start of the year, and some arising during the year. Activities may include volunteering at our fundraising sales or car boot sales; helping at our fundraising events; doing bucket collections; helping at corporate fundraising events; or working with the grants team to seek material donations.

Wolverhampton Baby Bank is a flagship project run by The Women & Families Resource Centre, a registered charity supporting families with children aged 0-3.
Through donated essentials and community engagement, we provide much-needed items such as:
• Essential supplies for babies and toddlers, including nappies, wipes, clothing, toys and bedding.
• Support services for new parents, including drop-in groups and befriending for pregnant women and new mothers.
• Referrals and resources to connect families with additional community services.
Scope and Span
The E-Commerce Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the online sales function of the Baby Bank, ensuring that high-quality donated items are identified, prepared, listed, and sold effectively to generate fundraising income.
This role manages E-Commerce Volunteers and ensures that listings are accurate, professional, and aligned with brand standards. The Team Lead also monitors performance, pricing strategy, and workflow efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and supervise E-Commerce Volunteers
Oversee the identification of sellable donated items
Ensure all items listed online meet quality standards
Approve product descriptions, pricing, and final listings
Monitor online sales performance and recommend improvements

Registered in 1999, Daybreak is a charity whose foundations are in growing the practice of Family Group Conferences in the UK. From this, we have seen the positive impact that occurs when families and communities are empowered to take action when faced with challenging situations.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking to welcome two new members to our Board of Trustees.
To serve as one of Daybreak’s trustees is to play a fundamental role in enabling our charity to pursue its vision, mission, and values. Your contribution to discussions and decision-making at the highest level of our organisation will ensure that we can continue to provide our services to those in need of our support.
The role is more focused on strategy than detail. You will offer crucial guidance and support to management in developing a growth strategy that will allow Daybreak to reach more people and touch more lives.
There is no requirement for you to have experience as a Trustee. All we need is a willingness to use your skills and expertise to support Daybreak, a desire to make a difference for our service users, and a commitment to active participation in the role.
We would especially welcome applications from those with experience in Data, Digital and either Children or Adult Social Services.
The time commitment involved is around thirty hours per year, though a wide range of opportunities to get involved in the Board’s work will be provided. Board meetings are usually held quarterly in Hampshire or online.

Deaf Role Models share their lived experience of deafness with deaf children and their families, showing what is possible. This volunteering will take place at different types of events and activities, either in-person or online. More than 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents who might know very little about deafness. Being able to meet deaf adults can give them a deeper understanding of the different choices and possibilities for their child.
About you
Aged 18 years and over
Lived experience of deafness – it doesn’t matter what level of deafness you have, or how you communicate
Willing to share your personal experiences of deafness with a range of audiences including families of deaf children and young people in different community venues
Prepared to answer questions that families and/or children may have about your experiences
What you will do
You may talk about topics such as your family life, initial diagnosis, communication, education, interests and hobbies, career and challenges

At Doorstep Library, we’re dedicated to bringing the magic of books and the joy of reading directly into the homes of children who need our support.
With 1 in 4 children in the UK leaving primary school unable to read or write properly, we recruit and train in-person and online volunteers to introduce children from under-resourced areas to the pleasure of reading.
What’s Involved?
