 Volunteer Football Coach  

Club: Kenningwell United Women’s Football Club (KUWFC)

Location:-South London (Griffin Sports Ground & JAGS Sports Club – locations may change)
Commitment:- Flexible, up to 9 hours per week

About Kenningwell United WFC

Kenningwell United WFC (KUWFC) is a non-profit women’s football team, proudly part of the She’s Got Skills collective. Formed to celebrate and promote female football, the club is dedicated to supporting physical and mental wellbeing, and making 11-a-side football accessible for all women. KUWFC competes in the Greater London Women’s Football League (GLWFL).

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Volunteer Football Coach to support the development and success of our women’s first team. This is an excellent opportunity to empower players, promote inclusion, and help shape the future of women’s grassroots football.


Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging training sessions, focusing on skill development, fitness, and team cohesion

- Coach the team during league matches and events

- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all players

- Collaborate with club leadership and volunteers to uphold KUWFC’s mission and values

- Provide feedback and support to enhance both individual and team performance

- Commit to up to 3 hours per week (training, match days, preparation)


Requirements

- UEFA C Diploma (minimum) or higher coaching qualification
- Experience coaching women or girls (preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commitment to promoting physical and mental wellbeing
- Passion for women’s football and community sport
- DBS check (can be arranged by the club)
- Females are encouraged to apply
