About Us

The Lyonic Scots Society is the charitable arm of the Lyonic Scots — a heritage community dedicated to preserving, teaching, and celebrating our culture, history, traditions, and identity. We are preparing to launch globally, offering educational programmes, cultural resources, historical archives, and community engagement initiatives that honour our past and inspire future generations.

To achieve this, we need a skilled Project Manager to help coordinate the setup and launch of the Society as a fully operational charity.

The Role

We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to oversee the planning, development, and launch of the Lyonic Scots Society. You will work closely with the Founder, Council members, and volunteers to ensure the charity is built on strong foundations and ready for global outreach.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the project planning and delivery for the Society’s setup and launch

• Develop timelines, milestones, and structured work plans

• Coordinate volunteers across multiple teams (heritage, design, communications, admin)

• Support the creation of policies, governance documents, and operational frameworks

• Oversee the development of educational, cultural, and heritage programmes

• Ensure smooth communication between all contributors

• Report progress to the Founder and Council

• Help prepare the Society for public launch, membership rollout, and global engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in project management (professional or volunteer)

• Strong organisational and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines

• Clear communication and problem‑solving abilities

• Interest in Scottish heritage, culture, or community development

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

• Experience in charity setup or governance (desirable but not essential)
