Help lead Made in Hackney into its next chapter
Made in Hackney (MIH) is an award-winning food charity and the UK's first fully vegan community cookery school. Since opening in 2012, we have been using the power of plants to tackle health inequalities, improve access to nutritious and climate-friendly food, and bring communities together.
We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative Chair of Trustees to lead our Board through the next stage of Made in Hackney's development.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic leadership to a pioneering charity with an ambitious vision and a strong commitment to social justice.
Working closely with the Executive Director and fellow Trustees, you will ensure that the Board is effective, inclusive and focused on achieving our mission. You will provide leadership, sound judgement and constructive challenge, helping the organisation navigate opportunities and challenges while strengthening its long-term sustainability and impact.
You will also act as an ambassador for Made in Hackney, helping to raise our profile, build strategic relationships and identify opportunities to support our future development.
