At Open Ear Foundation, we provide free, confidential companionship to anyone experiencing loneliness or isolation. Our service is powered entirely by warm, well-trained volunteers and we’d love you to become one of them.
What you’ll be doing: As a Volunteer Companionship Officer, you’ll be a friendly, reassuring voice for people who simply need someone to listen. From the comfort of your own home, you will:
- Make regular companionship remote calls to people facing loneliness
- Listen with warmth, patience, and without judgement
- Build genuine, trusted connections through ongoing conversations
- Help people feel heard, valued, and less alone
- Share simple feedback with our team so we can keep improving our support
Your time, your way, total flexibility:
