Do you remember those lockdown days when connection felt far away and community suddenly mattered more than ever? At SUNSHINE Charity, we’re on a mission to make sure no one ever feels that alone again.

We’re a brand‑new start‑up charity with a big, bright vision: to reduce loneliness and social isolation by bringing people together through joyful, uplifting, community‑powered programmes. We want to bring sunshine back into people’s lives — and we’d love you to help us do it.

Because this is the exciting bit — the beginning. Our charity number is on the way, our launch is set for August/September 2026, and we’re building the team that will shape everything we become. You won’t just be “helping out”. You’ll be co‑creating a charity from the ground up.

We’re Recruiting Volunteers for Our New Working Groups:

Each group meets monthly and takes on practical tasks to help us get launch‑ready. You don’t need years of experience — just enthusiasm, ideas, and a willingness to get stuck in.

1. Programme Development & Launch

Help design the activities, events and community programmes that will bring people together and spark joy.

2. Fundraising & Grant Writing

Support us to secure the funding we need to grow, thrive and reach the people who need us most.

3. HR & Volunteering Programme

Shape our volunteer journey, policies and people‑focused processes so SUNSHINE becomes a place where everyone feels valued.

4. Marketing, Communications & Social Media

Help us spread the sunshine — build our voice, grow our presence, and share stories that inspire.
