At SUNSHINE, we believe nobody should have to face loneliness alone.

We’re building a brand‑new start‑up loneliness charity that will create welcoming spaces where people can make friends, feel connected and discover that they belong.

To bring SUNSHINE to life, we need images and stories that show the warmth, joy and human connection we’re creating.

We’re looking for a friendly, creative Photography & Video Volunteer to help us capture real moments of connections, joy and community across London — building a library of vibrant, positive images and videos that will help us raise awareness, promote our charity and inspire people to join our mission.

This is one of our very first creative volunteer roles — a chance to help shape the visual identity of a charity that could change lives.

About the Volunteer Role: Photography & Video Volunteer (Volunteer)

As our Photography & Video Volunteer, you’ll help us document the people, places and moments that make SUNSHINE special. You’ll be out and about in London capturing natural, uplifting images and short videos that reflect connection, belonging and hope.

You don’t need to be a professional photographer or filmmaker. You just need a camera or phone, a good eye for human moments and a passion for telling positive stories through imagery. You should also have a positive energy and vibe thats warm and engaging with the community.

You might help with:

• Taking photos and short videos of people, community spaces and everyday London life.

• Capturing warm, joyful, friendly moments that reflect SUNSHINE’s mission.

• Building a library of images and clips we can use across our website, social media and campaigns.

• Photographing volunteers, community activities and early pilot projects.

• Helping shape SUNSHINE’s visual style — bright, human, hopeful.

• Bringing creativity, kindness and positive energy to everything you capture.

Even a few hours one off or a few hours over a week could make a huge difference.
