SUNSHINE is a small but ambitious start‑up charity dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation across London. We bring warmth, belonging and human connection through:

• Weekly Coffee Mornings

• Our Digital Inclusion & Skills Programme

• Befriending support

• Community events, workshops and more

We’re growing — fast — and we need a Head of Programmes who can help us shape, strengthen and scale our impact.

Your Mission: Build, Shape and Lead Our Programmes

This is not a maintenance role — this is a creation role. As our Head of SUNSHINE Programmes, you will design, develop and oversee all of SUNSHINE’s activities and services from the ground up.

You will:

• Create and shape the overall strategy for all SUNSHINE programmes.

• Set up new activities, services and community initiatives.

• Strengthen and refine existing programmes like Coffee Mornings, Digital Inclusion and Befriending.

• Ensure programmes are safe, impactful, inclusive and volunteer‑friendly.

• Work closely with the Head of Volunteering to ensure programmes are well‑supported.

• Monitor impact, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.

• Lead with compassion, creativity and a deep commitment to community.

Your leadership will directly determine how many people we reach — and how deeply we change their lives.
