As we prepare to launch in 2026, we’re building the team that will shape the entire volunteer experience at SUNSHINE. This is your chance to design something uplifting, welcoming and full of heart.

Join Our HR & Volunteering Programme Working Group

This group will lead on creating, setting up and launching our volunteering programme — the systems, processes and people‑focused magic that will make SUNSHINE a place where volunteers feel valued, supported and inspired.

You’ll meet monthly, share ideas, and help us build a volunteer journey that truly shines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing our volunteering programme from the ground up

• Creating a warm, inclusive and joyful volunteer experience

• Helping shape policies, onboarding, training and support

• Building the foundations of a positive, people‑centred HR approach

• Ensuring SUNSHINE becomes a charity where volunteers feel appreciated, connected and part of something special

You don’t need to be an HR expert — just someone who cares deeply about people and wants to help create a brilliant volunteer community.

Someone who:

• Loves supporting people and building community

• Enjoys organising, planning and creating positive experiences

• Wants to help shape a charity at the very start of its journey

• Can give a little time each month to help us get launch‑ready
