SUNSHINE Charity was created to bring that feeling back — to reduce loneliness, spark joy and help people feel part of something again.

We’re preparing to launch in 2026, and we’re building a small but mighty leadership team to guide us through our start‑up phase. Now we’re looking for a brilliant, organised, people‑focused Operations Director to help us turn our mission into a smooth, well‑run reality.

Volunteer Operations Director

As our Operations Director, you’ll work closely with our CEO/Executive Director to support the day‑to‑day running of SUNSHINE Charity. You’ll help us set up the systems, processes and structures we need to launch confidently — and then help us grow.

This is a rare chance to shape the operational heartbeat of a brand‑new charity.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the CEO/Executive Director with day‑to‑day management

• Helping set up the operational systems and processes needed for launch

• Coordinating across our Working Groups to keep everything running smoothly

• Supporting governance, planning and organisational development

• Helping us build a charity that feels warm, organised and people‑centred

• Playing a key role in our launch phase and early growth

You don’t need to have been an Operations Director before — just someone who’s organised, proactive and excited to help build something meaningful from scratch.
