From those ashes rose a resilient Scots community whose spirit has carried across centuries. Today, we honour that legacy by building something new, something global, something fiercely alive: The Lyonic Scots Clan Society.

We are seeking a founding Clan Historian—a passionate researcher, storyteller, and guardian of heritage who will help preserve and illuminate the rich tapestry of our past. This role is central to understanding who we are, where we come from, and how we carry our story into the future.

As Clan Historian, you will:

• Research, record, and preserve the history of the Lyonic Scots and our wider cultural roots

• Work closely with the Clan Chief and Executive Committee to ensure our traditions and narratives are honoured and accurately represented

• Help curate historical materials, archives, stories, and educational content for our global community

• Share the tales, triumphs, and trials that shaped our ancestors and inspire our members today

• Play a vital role in building a society grounded in authenticity, memory, and cultural pride

You do not need Scottish ancestry to serve in this role. What matters is your curiosity. Your dedication. Your belief in the power of history to unite, teach, and inspire.
