The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET and those who have been Electively Home Educated. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and /or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skills and Employability Adviser.
You will support a caseload of young people aged 16 to 18 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET with part of your caseload being Electively Home Educated Year 11 young people who may be at risk of becoming NEET. You will guide them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.
Working across the West of the county, including Wealden, with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.
This role also supports our Electively Home Educated Year 11’s with transition support to their Post 16 pathway.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required. You'll also act as a champion for relevant opportunities and resources—ensuring young people, parents/carers, providers, and wider stakeholders are aware of what’s available and how it can help.
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with NEET, Risk of NEET young people, who understands the post-16 education and training landscape and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage a varied caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

Minimum Criteria
· Minimum of IAG Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards and relevant experience

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.
We are looking for two dedicated and passionate Advice and Information Worker to join our team based in Hatfield! You will be the first point of contact for anyone needing to access the ‘hyh hub’ and will ensure that all referrals are triaged to identify the most effective pathway for support. The worker will deliver accurate advice and information to young people, parents and professionals, and work undertaken in a coordinated timely manner. You will carry out appropriate assessments, with other agencies where needed, to assess the needs of the family to prevent family breakdown and homelessness.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied, short term case load with conflicting deadlines
- To offer realistic advice and options to young people, family members and professionals to prevent family breakdown and homelessness, identifying any other needs within the process.
- To carry out service user assessments under the JHP and liaise with statutory agencies, non-statutory agencies and family members to assist with a planned move on/secure accommodation for
16/17 year olds as required.
- Develop and maintain smooth, accurate pathways on the database for gathering and maintaining all relevant service user and statistical information
- To chair and coordinate family meetings, housing support meetings and liaison meetings with other agencies as required
- To liaise and refer into Crashpad as required and work within the set timescales
- Alongside team members and external partners, co-ordinate and implement focused action plans, working with families for a maximum of 6 weeks

OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Beacon is seeking a creative, organised, and digitally savvy Digital Content Officer, whose role will focus on two main areas: delivering day-to-day communications and supporting digital projects.
At the heart of this role is driving engagement with Beacon’s events and projects, strengthening our community connections, and communicating our impact clearly and effectively. You will coordinate content across multiple channels - including social media, email, newsletters, and the Beacon website - and monitor the effectiveness of these communications. This includes writing copy, creating graphics and video content, scheduling and publishing materials, and engaging with the rare disease community on behalf of Beacon. You will also drive promotional and outreach activity, helping connect with patient groups, partners, and wider networks to amplify Beacon’s work.
You will support The Resources Hub (our e-learning platform) by assisting with uploading, formatting, publishing, and updating content. As you grow in the role and depending on your skills and capacity, there may be opportunities to contribute to content development, coordinate volunteers and external partners, or assist with other digital projects, such as podcast production, video series, or multimedia content.
While the focus and direction of your work will stem from ongoing events, projects, and organisational priorities, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and play a key role in driving communications forward. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Fundraiser to join our team. Your role will primarily involve building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, aiming to secure financial support for the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, coordinating campaigns, and developing strong connections with businesses in order to generate income and meet targets.
Additionally, you will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the charity by identifying new corporate partnership opportunities and fostering existing relationships.
The role will also include:

Fundraising and Evaluation

Identify grant opportunities for the organisation, manage application deadlines and work with the staff team to support writing grants.

Maintain MDP’s grant database up to date and manage Google Drive grant documentation folders, including supporting the Executive Director to meet funders’ requirements such as quarterly reports.

Manage and track staff budget sheets for grants, working with the Finance Manager.

Support the Executive Director and all team members in writing progress reports to funders, both when required and proactive updates to all funders.

Implement an evaluation system to be able to measure and report on outputs required by each grant.

Liaise with MDP’s staff team to collect data for evaluation reports.
Lead on online systems for the team

Create a calendar of relevant MDP events for all staff and support the team’s long-term project planning.

Manage travel and accommodation booking for MDP staff members for required events.

Process all relevant office orders, such as printing, stationery and office equipment.

Regularly assess office needs and proactively ensure the stocks of MDP materials (such as leaflets, business cards, etc.) are appropriate.
Finance Support

Work with the Finance Manager to create budget templates and monitor them regularly.

Pay small invoices under £500 and process staff expense forms on a monthly basis.

Manage MDP’s invoice folders and create invoices from MDP’s templates when required.

Submit relevant invoices and receipts to Xero’s inbox.

Manage MDP’s Soldo account and top-up expense cards for staff as appropriate.
Qualifications
We are looking for an organised and efficient Operations and Fundraising Manager with the following essential skills:

At least three years of demonstrated experience of leading projects or teams, including managing multiple people and budgets

Demonstrable experience in fundraising, such as grant writing.

Excellent organisation skills, with extensive experience in project and program management, and a proven ability to plan, organise, and lead the implementation of plans and processes.

Experience of creating systems and organisational processes that are effective, efficient, and embed and socialise them with the team and key external partners.

Experience in project monitoring and evaluation.

Experience using Xero, Soldo or similar software for processing invoices and expenses.

Experience in diary management.

Excellent knowledge using Google Suite.

Comfortable in a start-up environment and experience working in a small team, where flexibility is required to meet emerging tasks and deadlines.

Overview
Involve Community Services is a local infrastructure charity that supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sectors of Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough. We offer development and governance support, funding advice, grant writing, volunteer and trustee recruitment, and a comprehensive training programme. We also run several well-being projects that include Community Navigation, Cancer Support and Social Prescribing within Wokingham Borough.
Role summary
The Community Development Worker will work across Wokingham Borough to assist small charities, community groups and social enterprises who have a health and well-being focus, as well as those organisations who aid residents with protected characteristics. They will assist organisations to find solutions to existing challenges and overcome barriers to optimise their delivery, e.g., through sourcing volunteers, committee members, funding opportunities, forming simple governance structures, and seeking premises.
The post holder will advocate for members of the community with protected characteristics as well as those whose voices are seldom heard, and act as a voice for marginalised groups, to aid inclusive decision making and delivery of services across the borough. The postholder will develop a broad, informed view of the local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector and will communicate this to colleagues within Involve, the wider Friendship Alliance (a collective of charities who have a shared interest in addressing loneliness and social isolation), and to statutory partners. The postholder will also identify gaps in provision and help to develop or enhance existing partnerships so to optimise their impact to residents.
Key Responsibilities
