About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children becoming involved in violence. Our mission is to find what works and build a movement to put it into practice. A big part of the movement that we need to build is in the world of youth justice. We need to inspire and connect with youth justice leaders across England and Wales to spread what works and make our country safer for some of our most vulnerable children. We are looking for someone to lead on making this happen.
Key Responsibilities
We are making good progress building the evidence of what works within and around youth justice to reduce violence. This year, in conjunction with the Centre for Justice Innovation, we published Diversion Practice Guidance and have recently launched our new self-evaluation tool for diversion practice (ORPIC). But the big risk is that we publish these resources and nothing changes. That’s where you come in.
Your role is to work out the best way to make this change happen by getting youth justice services (YJSs) and police forces to adopt evidence-based practice through our new change programme: the Whole Area Model (WAM). WAM helps police forces and youth justice services strengthen diversion practices by aligning their work with the 7 C’s:

Culture – A child-centred, pro-diversion ethos

Contact – Interactions are trauma-informed and maximise prevention and safeguarding opportunities

Custody – Considered use of police custody, prioritising alternatives and swift triage.

Criteria – Clear, consistent eligibility for diversion.

Collaboration – Multi-agency decision-making panels; shared protocols and referral pathways.

Care – Evidence-based support, monitoring engagement, closing cases responsibly.

Checks – Ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and scrutiny to ensure quality and equity.
Your role will involve:

Supporting the delivery of the Whole Area Model through activities like:
-
Facilitating completions of diversion self-evaluations with youth justice services and police forces.
-
Delivering training to youth justice, police and other relevant agencies about the evidence-base or specific areas of diversionary practice and governance (e.g. scrutiny panels).

Supporting the ongoing development of a National Diversion Network, which will contribute to a wider repository of diversion resources and evidence
-
Identifying and creating practical resources which help youth justice professionals and police officers to put evidence into practice.

Developing great relationships with senior leaders, youth justice workers and police officers, generating a strong understanding of key issues and needs in relation to youth justice matters, and building credibility and trust with the sector.

Working out other effective ways to connect people with the evidence, then making those things happen, from virtual learning events to presentations.

About You
You must have this sort of experience:

You’ve changed frontline practice and/or systems:You have significant experience in leading behaviour, practice or policy changes within a youth justice setting. You can show how these have been effective in delivering tangible change.

You’re working in or around the youth justice service, preferably in a role/setting specifically working with children who are vulnerable to or involved in violence.

You work well in multi-agency environments: You have experience collaborating across police, youth justice, local authorities and other partners, and you can communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders to build alignment and drive change.

Hybrid Working
Our office is located in Central London. Team members who reside within the 32 London Boroughs or are within a 90-minute commute are expected to attend the office at least two days per week.
For those living outside of London but within England, Scotland, or Wales, the expectation is to work from the London office two days per month.
Travel
Due to the nature of the programme there is some national travel required within England and Wales. This is likely to be up to five times per month; all travel costs can be reimbursed with flexibility for overnight stays if preferred.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To develop, implement and evaluate the Banter Project youth service in partnership with adopted young people in Northern Ireland. These young people range in age from 14-25 years and live throughout Northern Ireland. The role will primarily work with the project participants, but has additional relationships with community organisations, educational establishments and employers to ensure that all project goals and outcomes are efficiently and effectively met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead the development and delivery of all elements of the Banter Project adopted young people’s service within Northern Ireland in a fun, interactive, interesting and an ability appropriate manner.
- To support the project participants to play an active role in the design and implementation of a programme of monthly activities for adopted young people. Sustaining and developing a monthly social hub, supporting the development of basic life-skills, and preparation for opportunities in further education, training, employment.
- To support a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) in its role to enable adopted young people to steer the Banter Project while developing skills which promote independence, personal development, social and life skills, leadership, and community involvement.
- To organise and supervise the work of the Youth Services Support Worker to deliver the Banter Project.
- To provide opportunities to connect with, and signpost to, relevant services, particularly those who work with care experienced young people.
- To develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation to review individual goals, track progress and impact, via data and analysis of outcomes to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- To record service activity using the electronic data management systems to collate in preparation for reporting and learning opportunities.
- To gather output and outcome data from the Banter Project service in accordance with the quality assurance systems within AUK.
- Work with other staff members to deliver a high-quality project for our adopted young people and their adoptive parents. Work as part of a team to contribute to a positive work environment and shared goals.

About the Project
The National Lottery funded Meddwl Ymlaen Mind Our Future project is led by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales partnership. The aim is to empower young people aged 11 to 24 to shape mental health services across Wrexham and Flintshire. Young people will co develop and influence policy, processes and services that affect their mental wellbeing.
Overview of the Role
The Senior Youth Engagement Officer will lead the youth engagement and co production elements of the project. A key part of the role is to lead and facilitate the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), made up of 11 to 24 year olds who guide the direction of the project. The post holder will support their leadership development, confidence and decision making.
The role also includes developing a strategy to recruit and engage more young people, delivering a calendar of youth led events, and ensuring young voices shape all aspects of the project. The officer will represent Mind Our Future in meetings with stakeholders and support young people recruited into paid roles within the project.

• Lead and facilitate the YLAB, plan and chair meetings, and support members to take an active leadership role.

The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager sits within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.
You will play a central role in building the evidence base on what works to support young people into good jobs.
Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.
- You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, you will assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.
- You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues.
- You will also contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.
This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a mixed property portfolio, overseeing service charges, lease events, tenant applications, and contractor performance.

Ascension Eagles Cheerleaders (AEC) is a youth charity east London; we are one of the UK’s top competitive cheerleading programmes, operating out of our "Talent Central" gym in Newham. Founded in 1996, our mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential, regardless of their background, ability or economic circumstances.
We supplement our sport programmes with mentoring, educational activities and leadership training - everything we do is about helping young people to develop life skills, confidence and positive values (consistency; integrity; perseverance; persistence) to help them become the best that they can be.
At Talent Central, over 150 young people take part in our recreational and competitive activities each week. Our inclusive approach extends to our Special Education Needs (SEN) team, ensuring young people with disabilities can also participate and thrive. Alongside this, our schools’ outreach programme reaches more than 250 children weekly. Each year, we also welcome hundreds of athletes who train at our gym, including England’s National Cheerleading Team.

What you will be responsible for as our Fundraising Manager:
- Developing a clear fundraising framework and working with our trustees to shape our fundraising strategy
- Researching and securing funding from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and relevant networks
- Writing strong, persuasive funding applications and engaging impact reports
- Building and stewarding long-term relationships with funders, potential partners, businesses and networks, and exploring opportunities for collaboration
- Exploring new income streams to help deliver our mission, including digital fundraising and community giving
- Tracking engagement using a CRM system
- Helping to ensure our organisational policies are appropriate for funders' compliance
- Reporting on progress to the Director and trustees, ensuring transparency and good governance.
This role combines strategic development (30%) and hands-on delivery (70%) - ideal for a proactive fundraiser who enjoys both planning and doing.

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. We are looking for a House Manager who is hardworking and has excellent people skills to manage our ‘Homes from Home’ Stevenson House supporting families at The Royal London Hospital.
You will be responsible for managing the house including working with the hospital to admit and welcome families, property maintenance, daily administration and compliance such as health and safety, and will be hands on with light domestic duties to prepare rooms for families and ensure the house is maintained to a high standard.
Your experience to date could come from a variety of sectors and roles such as office administration, facility management, housekeeping or health and care sectors to name a few. What we are looking for are candidates who can:
- Take the responsibility for running a house and the service it provides
