West London local authority has a job for a Asset Project Manager to work as part of the Operations team, £60K

Your new company
A local authority based in West London where you will join the Growth & Place division.

Your new role
The housing asset project manager is responsible, on behalf of the Head of Strategic Asset Management and Compliance Data, to provide effective co-ordination of the programme's projects, including oversight of any risks and issues arising.

The asset manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the capital programme. They will develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it. The role will be working across multiple domains and the post holder should have excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful individual will act upon this view to mitigate risks, remove blockers, enable other team officers to deliver and ensure the Head of Strategic Asset Management and Compliance Data is always informed about the status of the Council's Property assets.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience managing a capital works programme and creating a long term forecast. Experience with financial forecasting, using asset management databases and building compliance. You will have previously worked in public sector organisation and you understand the importance of key stakeholder engagement. It is not essential but preferred that you have a project management qualification.
