The role and your key responsibilities
As a Partner Success Lead your role is to provide world class customer service to our partner base of over 2,500 schools and colleges. You will be responsible for onboarding our new schools and supporting our existing schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful.

Onboarding our new schools by setting them up on our platform and making sure teachers and students are ready to get the most out of Unifrog.

Brain Research UK (BRUK) funds world-class research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of all those who are affected by neurological conditions.

We are a well-established charity that has recently launched a new strategy to accelerate the progress and funding of neurological research. This is a new role. The role
Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will play a key role as part of the Fundraising Team by providing the highest levels of fundraising and event administration support to ensure the provision of seamless, excellent supporter care and assistance to our supporters. Specific fundraising streams will include, but not be limited to, London Marathon, Other Runs and Challenges, Community Fundraising, Special Events and other streams as needed.
Whilst this role is primarily providing administrative and stewardship support for fundraising and event activities, there will be opportunities to be involved with all other aspects of the charity and the development of future fundraising initiatives and events.
The successful candidate will need to be a good team player, able to work independently; flexible; hard working and prepared to play an enthusiastic role in helping to deliver excellent supporter care and increased fundraising income. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
In this position you will:
· Be a primary contact point for our London Marathon runners to provide excellent customer care and increase fundraising potential
· Answer general public and supporter enquiries that come in by telephone, email, social media and WhatsApp groups and mail in a way that makes them feel important and valued regardless of the nature of their enquiry
· Assist with the processing of all income (cash, cheques, online platform donations) correctly into the Donorfy database, and thank or pass to relevant team members for thanking in a timely manner
· Record as necessary enquiries, correspondence and responses on our Donorfy database
· Be a primary point of contact for our Challenge Event fundraisers. Build excellent relationships with them and provide materials and support, liaising before, during and following their activity/event as needed
· To work with the team to provide support for key fundraising activities such as the London Marathon and other challenge and running events. This will include assisting with event administration, proactively making telephone calls in response to applications for places in London Marathon and to encourage fundraising, answering telephone calls, responding to emails WhatsApp and Facebook messages, thanking participants, sending materials to participants and updating records on Donorfy
· Monitoring Social Media and assisting with providing content for these channels/platforms
· Communications support: this may include contributing content for appeals, website and enewsletters and will include monitoring stewardship schedules and deadlines where needed

About First Give
First Give is a national charity that inspires young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. We do this through working in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc.) in support of them.
At the end of each programme, a celebratory School Final is held at each school, where teams representing each class deliver presentations about their projects. The class considered to have engaged the best with the programme secures a First Give grant of £1,000 for their chosen charity. By the end of the programme, however, the whole year group will have given back meaningfully to their local community. We currently work in partnership with about 200 schools every year across England and Wales.

Programme Manager role
Programme Managers are responsible for coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up to 60 schools. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team of Programme Managers.
Programme Managers support our schools to deliver the programme, engaging approximately 35,000 young people in social action for local causes. The schools this Programme Manager will work with are based in Wales and the West of England, plus some schools in London and the South East.
- Contract: Full time, fixed term maternity cover, approximately 11 month contract. 37.5 hours per week (9am-5.30pm but with occasional early starts and late finishes dependent on events and school visits).
- Salary: £32,000 – 34,000
- Location: Working from Wales-based home, with regular travel to schools in Wales and the West of England. Travel to First Give’s London office in West Hampstead and other locations in England and Wales for team meetings will be required, approximately once per month.

Key responsibilities
All Programme Managers have the following as ‘core’ responsibilities, to ensure the successful delivery and management of the First Give programme in schools:
- Manage relationships with teachers and school leaders to deliver the First Give programme
- Manage programmes using Salesforce
- Attend school Finals and other in school events
- Deliver First Give events (Assemblies, Workshops and Finals) where required
- Renew schools onto the programme year-on-year
- Support recruitment and management of school facilitators as appropriate
- Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
- an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
- delivering a briefing to class teachers;
- responding to queries via phone and email;
- booking in First Give facilitated sessions
- Collect data for monitoring (student surveys; case studies; teacher surveys)
- Recruit a minimum of one judge per School Final from the wider community
- Actively raise the profile of First Give across Wales and the West of England, creating opportunities to attend networks, promote programmatic offers and develop new school partnerships or funding opportunities
- Some activity to recruit new schools to the programme, including seeking referrals from existing partners and delivering onboarding meetings

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in London across up to 3 schools along with remote working. Our schools are shown on a map of The Access Project schools on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteers tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
Our schools undertake either our Gateway model, which includes mentoring and tutoring or our Accelerate model, which includes mentoring and coaching. Some Accelerate schools also have tutoring included on our Accelerate Plus model.
Depending on the model in the schools you are based in, role responsibilities will include:
- Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
- Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
- Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
- Build and manage relationships with volunteers to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
- Manage students’ relationships with volunteers through monitoring of systems, emailing and making phone calls.
- Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
- Chair and present at school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
- University Access Officers support the volunteering team by helping to deliver volunteer training sessions, and attending university site visits, which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).
- Any other responsibilities reasonably deemed necessary by The Access Project’s Programme Managers or Director.

Brooke is seeking expressions of interest to lead a study to understand decision maker’s needs in relation to the inclusion of working animals (with a focus on equids) in Disaster Risk Management policies in low and middle- income countries.
We are seeking a consultant to lead a desked based review of existing policy in relation to working animals in DRM in Brooke’s countries of operation (India, Pakistan, Nicaragua, Kenya, Ethiopia and Senegal) and a decision maker analysis. The consultant is encouraged to use and modify methodology/guidance shared from a recent study commissioned by Livestock Data for Decisions (LD4D), conducted by the Busara Center for Behavioural Economics (Busara).

Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Survivor Engagement Manager. Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma- informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
Our National Helpline for LGBT+ Victims and Survivors of Abuse and Violence offers emotional support, advice and signposting to LGBT+ victims and survivors of domestic abuse, so-called “conversion therapy”, sexual abuse and violence and hate crime. We are person- centred, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
The Helpline Advisor will work as part of a team, answering calls, responding to emails and webchats on Galop’s National LGBT+ Helplines. This will include supporting callers who have been subjected to violence and abuse, including domestic abuse, hate crime, sexual violence, and so-called conversion therapies.
The role will also work to identify the needs of each person referred to our triage service, bringing them into our advocacy services where appropriate, offering one-off guidance and assistance, or referring elsewhere when the clients’ needs suggest this is the best route for them.
We’re looking for someone with a trauma-informed approach to supporting survivors. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care, and a strong understanding of the needs of LGBT+ victims and survivors.
Given the nature of the role and the individuals that will be supported, we would particularly welcome and prioritise applications from the global majority (a person of colour) as long as they meet essential criteria for the role.
Please note, that there is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2003 for this post. It is considered essential that post holders have experience of LGBT+ needs, and impact of discrimination as the Helpline is run for LGBT+ people experiencing abuse and violence.
This role requires some weekend and evening work, which is agreed in advance. The role is based in Galop’s central London building but hybrid working is available.

About the role:
The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the service in Cumbria.
As a TEIO, you will;
- answer incoming calls, speaking to those affected by crime & manage a caseload
- make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
- work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality

The SHP Somerset Cluster is based in the heart of the London’s theatre and shopping districts – the main hub is just off Drury Lane, with the other sites near Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. Schooling isn’t working for the children who need it most. Every week in England 109 children – equivalent to three full classrooms – are permanently excluded. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Since the pandemic, school suspensions have risen significantly, as has persistent absenteeism. 1 in 5 children are missing more than 10% of their time in school. Children who are excluded or persistently absent are much more likely to already be experiencing vulnerability or disadvantage. They are more likely to live in poverty, have additional learning needs, suffer mental health challenges, or experience a lack of safety outside school. Certain ethnicities are also disproportionately affected, notably Gypsy Roma Traveller and black Caribbean children.
Exclusion and high rates of absence can have a dramatic effect on life chances. These young people are more likely to drop out of education or employment, become vulnerable to long-term mental ill health, or be at risk of criminal exploitation. The Difference believes that children and young people deserve better and that the education system has to change.
Our Organisation
The Difference is a young education charity, founded to change the story on lost learning. By 2030, we want rates of exclusion and absence to be falling nationally and for schools to be better equipped to support all children, including those who may be vulnerable. The Difference was born out of a year of research into school exclusions with think-tank IPPR. This research identified a lack of inclusion expertise in schools and proposed a new leadership development programme to fill this gap. In 2018, Difference founder Kiran hired the team who took this idea from concept to reality, beginning work with our first schools.
The Difference is now a 22-strong team delivering multiple school leadership programmes, alongside a growing research and policy arm. The team is supported by our Youth Advisory Board, made up of young people who have experienced exclusion and who provide their expertise and insights on how school inclusion work should be done. Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Survivor Engagement Manager. Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma- informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
We are looking for a new Advocacy & Support Manager to manage a team of specialist advocates and caseworkers providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT+ survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and other advocacy managers to ensure that survivors have access to needs-led, timely support that is right for them, maintaining high quality, consistent support across our advocacy and one-to-one support, whether that is in-person or remote.
You will have an in depth understanding of the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT+ people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community. You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is collected consistently and use this to report to funders. You will develop and maintain relationships with funders and ensuring that the service is effectively demonstrating the different that it makes. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Director of Services to develop bids for new or continued funding for frontline services.
You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services. You will need to be solutions-focussed and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care, and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team.
Location: Galop’s offices are located in London. This role will have the option of hybrid working.
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term (fixed term until March 2025 with possibility to extend subject to funding)
Salary: £40,720.38- £43,872.487 (including £4,009.14 London Weighting)

Job Summary
To take the lead in ensuring that appropriate arrangements for keeping children, young people and adults at risk of harm safe are actioned at MHI as part of a Designated Safeguarding team covering the Shout platform 24/7. The role is responsible for promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people on our platform, being a consistent and reliable presence on the Shout platform, and advising Shout Supervisors on safeguarding actions and practise while raising and recording safeguarding issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- To act as an MHI Designated Safeguarding Officer.
- Contribute to developing and reviewing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Alongside the DSO, contribute to ensuring that everyone working or volunteering with or for children and young people at MHI, including the board of trustees, understands the safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures and knows what to do if they have concerns about a child’s welfare
- Take a lead role in implementing MHI’s safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures: ensuring all safeguarding and child protection issues concerning children and young people who take part in MHI’s activities are responded to appropriately
- Take the lead on responding to information that may constitute a child protection concern, including a concern that an adult involved with MHI may present a risk to children or young people. This includes:
- assessing and clarifying the information
- calling in and recording all safeguarding issues as they arise.
- supporting and responding to staff who raise internal concerns as well as supporting those who make external safeguarding referrals to police or Adult / Children's Services
- making referrals to statutory organisations as appropriate
- consulting with and informing the relevant members of the organisation’s management
- following the organisation’s safeguarding policy and procedures
- Immediately referring cases to the Safeguarding Panel where there is a radicalisation concern
- Liaise with, pass on information to and receive information from statutory child protection agencies such as:
- the local authority child protection services
- the police
- this includes making formal referrals to agencies when necessary.
- Record and retain child protection records according to legal requirements and the organisation’s safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures.
- Work closely with the management committee/board of trustees and Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure they are kept up to date with safeguarding issues and are fully informed of any concerns about organisational safeguarding and child protection practice.
- Contribute to regular reports to MHI’s board of trustees on issues relating to safeguarding and child protection, to ensure that child protection is seen as an ongoing priority issue and that safeguarding and child protection requirements are being followed at all levels of the organisation.
- Be familiar with and work within inter-agency child protection procedures developed by child protection agencies working in partnership with MHI.
- Be familiar with issues relating to child protection and abuse, and keep up to date with new developments in this area.
- Attend regular training in issues relevant to child protection and share knowledge from that training with everyone who works or volunteers with or for children and young people at MHI.
- Attend team meetings, supervision sessions and management meetings as arranged.
- Hold safeguarding workshops and drop-in consultations for the ongoing training and support of MHI clinical and volunteer support staff.
- Work flexibly as may be required and carry out any other reasonable duties.
- Child protection leads must have received relevant safeguarding and child protection training that MHI require and that is specific to their role. This training should be refreshed regularly and they should keep up to date with any changes in safeguarding and child protection legislation and guidance.
