Finance and Operations Officer – Forward Thinking
Forward Thinking is a small, dynamic charity where every member of staff makes a significant contribution. Duties and Responsibilities
The Finance and Operations Officer plays a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of Forward Thinking. This is a varied role comprising approximately two days per week of office administration and operations and one day per week of bookkeeping and finance administration.

Role description
· Partner with the Board, to develop and deliver JustMoney Movement’s strategy and objectives, rooted in our movement-building theory of change, and our Christian identity, culture and values. This may include identifying and implementing change, as needed.
· Lead on the creation and delivery of our fundraising strategy to ensure JustMoney Movement’s financial viability for the long-term. We're looking for a compassionate, proactive and organised Refugee Resettlement Support Worker to join our Resettlement Team and support individuals and families arriving through Government resettlement schemes. The role is predominantly focused on families resettled from Afghanistan, although support may be provided to people arriving through other schemes as well.

You'll work directly alongside refugee families as they settle into life in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and wider Dorset, helping them navigate unfamiliar systems, access services and become active members of their new communities.

About you

· A track record of achieving fundraising or income targets and building strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage a wide range of audiences.
