This role is focused on providing strategic communications leadership to the Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub), with an emphasis on web and digital media. The ambition of this role is to support GDI Hub into its next 10-years (having just celebrated our 10-year anniversary), with ownership of our expansive web and digital portfolios.
The post holder will work with the Director of Global Engagement and the GDI Hub comms team to elevate the organisation’s portfolio of public facing touch points. The role will combine core responsibilities of website ownership and content development, alongside providing experienced and strategic leadership for the communications function.
GDI Hub has evolved from a start-up to an established medium sized organisation in the last 10 years. This new role is strategically important in defining the future direction of the organisation's web presence and communications strategy while providing senior level leadership and expertise within the team.
A key requirement of this role is to provide deep technical knowledge of website management and development, enabling the post holder to systematically consider GDI Hub’s online portfolio and strategically develop our websites and digital footprint in a way that builds engagement, increases impact and supports storytelling. This senior position will in time take on line management responsibilities for two members of the communications team. Management experience is essential, as is a track record for leading a fast-paced communications and content team, with responsibility for project and programme outputs. Location and Working Hours
This is a home-based role with flexible remote working arrangements. Purpose of the Role
Support the delivery of Felix’s partner marketing activity by coordinating campaigns, creating engaging content, managing partner communications, and ensuring smooth collaboration across fundraising, food and produce partnerships, communications, and digital teams.
Reporting into the Partner Marketing Manager, The Partner Marketing Officer will play a key supporting role in bringing partnerships to life through co-branded campaigns, storytelling, and marketing materials that strengthen relationships with corporate partners, increase brand visibility, and demonstrate the impact of Felix’s work.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing marketing team following the launch of our new brand, Felix, and help drive its growth through high-impact partner marketing campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, creative, collaborative, and passionate about using marketing to support meaningful social impact.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring campaigns are delivered smoothly, creatively, accurately, and in line with brand standards.

This permanent role would suit somebody who is looking to build a career within Communications and Administration. Reporting into the Communications Director of this small organisation, you will work remotely, but be available to travel within London for client meetings and events of required.

What we are looking for
We're looking for a creative and organised communicator who is excited by the opportunity to help more people understand the transformative impact of creativity for people living with dementia.
The Communications Lead will work across the team and help us to: engage more effectively with existing stakeholders (partners, funders, donors, workshop participants, volunteers, artists), increase our profile and reach new audiences. This role offers scope to grow, helping us to think big, bringing in new ideas, transforming our presence, and so helping us to realise our ambitions.
Main purpose of job
To develop and deliver effective communications activity across all channels
Key responsibilities
· Proactive development and measurement of all social media channels (currently Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, to varying degrees)
· Responsible for appropriate use and development of our website, including keeping it up to date with our projects and case studies, and maximising engagement and SEO
· Supporting the fundraising team to fully realise new and existing income streams
· Supporting the operations team to deliver effective communications to participants, volunteers, artists and partners
· Creating mailouts and newsletters to various audiences (we use Mailchimp)
· Working with the team to identify and create assets and resources for use across the organisation, for example using participant stories and evaluation data
· Initiating public outreach and profile raising work, including identifying and engaging with relevant publications and events, soliciting and responding to media engagement, and cultivating high-profile ambassadors
· Supporting the rest of the organisation’s work, such as events, exhibitions, fundraising activities etc as needed

· Social media: content generation and management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), and experience and understanding of how to increase reach and engagement

· Design skills (we use Canva) and ability to effectively use existing brand guidelines
· Written and verbal communication skills, accurate proof-reading and attention to detail
· Experience of working collaboratively with a small staff team, able to listen and support alongside bringing new ideas and expertise
