As a community engagement volunteer you and your fellow branch members will create a range of activities to help spread the word about SSAFA within your community to ensure that that our Armed Forces community know that SSAFA are here to help and that we need the public’s support to continue offering our services.

• Fundraising Heroes - Whether it’s rallying local businesses, organising events, or getting creative with unique fundraising ideas, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping SSAFA’s support going strong.
• Administrators - Are you detail-oriented and love keeping things organised? Assist with branch and event administration, manage schedules and branch calendars, and ensure everything runs smoothly currently being undertaken.

• Reliable attitude, staying connected with your Branch and/or Community Engagement Manager about your availability.

Bradford Dementia Hub is a partnership between Inspire North, Bradford Council, Khidmat Centres and Bradford Bulls working together to support people living with dementia, as well as their families, friends and carers.

We provide information, advice and a signposting service, helping people access the support they need. We also deliver Community Awareness Sessions and Events to promote living well with dementia and how to increase Brain Health.

Fundraising Events Organiser Volunteer

Would you like to be part of a dedicated and friendly team of volunteers and make a real difference to the lives of cats and kittens in our care?Do you enjoy planning and organising for events?  Maybe you have a particular skill that you would like to put to use?
 
Then this could be the role for you! 
 
Our Fundraising Events Team are at the heart of what we do, raising essential funds for the cats.

Our Fundraising Events Organisersshare ideas, tasks and inspiration, planning and delivering local events, with the support of the Fundraising events helpers, such as Open Days (usually 2 per year) at the centre andour annual Christmas Bazaar.

Time Expectation:  This role can be varied and time commitment can be flexible. 

Without volunteers, Cats Protection Berkshire Cat Centre simply wouldn't exist. Our amazing, friendly volunteers are a diverse group with a shared love of cats who fit volunteering around their home lives and personal commitments.

We're often looking to welcome new volunteers to join our brilliant team. As well as meeting great people and making an incredible difference to the cats of Berkshire.

Please note:  Although we do welcome everyone, unfortunately our centre is not set up to accommodate young volunteers under the age of 18, including those on the Duke of Edinburgh programme.

We’re looking for three Support Group Volunteer over the age of 18 years old, based in Scotland.

You’ll be volunteering fortnightly Thursday between 10:30am and 11:30am plus additional time for volunteer team meetings and training.

As a support group volunteer, you will help with the running of the group. The role is designed to suit the needs of the group, and the skills of people offering support. If you enjoy getting to know your community, working with others and making a real difference then this is the role for you.

The volunteer will be

· A people person, with good listening skills

· A great communicator who enjoys meeting new people

· Good at putting people at ease

· Reliable and organised

· Passionate about supporting people affected by stroke

· IT literate, have good administrative and record keeping skills and be able to follow relevant policies

Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

You can expect us to

• make you feel welcome, included and respected in line with our values and behaviours
• support you in having a positive and impactful experience at Cats Protection
• cover agreed out-of-pocket expenses in line with our Expenses Policy

What we need from you

You’ll be:

· help set up and/or man stalls at events

· help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections

· help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

As a Client Services Helpline Volunteer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our services. Working within a compassionate and inclusive environment, you’ll help provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to individuals seeking guidance, information, or reassurance.

This role involves:

1. Supporting callers on our helpline
2. Recording information accurately
3. Signposting to relevant partner services
4. Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment 

We ideally ask for a commitment of one 4‑hour shift per week, although we do appreciate that this may not always fit around everyone’s circumstances. Our helpline operates 24/7 and shifts are prearranged to suit volunteers’ availability.

Training:

The training for Client Services Helpline role consists of initial e-learning. Volunteers are also required to attend a weeklong virtual training session so that we can provide guidance and support to them whilst they navigate our systems for the first time as well as for us to go through our processes and ensure that they have all the access needed to succeed in the role.

The training runs Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm.

Mulberry Cancer Support, is looking for new volunteers with flexible availability to help us set up and run our stall at a variety of fun community fundraising & enagement events, mainly in West London - Hounslow, Richmond & Ealing areas - and occasionally at our Centre in Isleworth. Come and sell rafle tickets, inspire donations, hold a collection bucket, give out leaflets and engage with the public at our own events and at fetes, fairs and stadium days.

Volunteers must be age 18+. Most events take place March - July and October - December.

We’re looking for a Volunteer Data Administrator to support our Criminal Justice Services. Can you offer 6 hours a week.  By sharing your time, skills, and experience, you can make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.
