Job description

£30,000 + 6% pension contribution (pro-rata)

Fixed term until 31st October 2024 with potential for extension depending on funding.

14 hours/week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to run our new Lewisham Asylum Hub: a drop-in service for asylum seekers living in the borough. You will coordinate and/or run social, educational and well-being activities for asylum seekers staying in hotels and initial asylum accommodation in Lewisham. With a great knowledge of local services, you will ensure asylum seekers are connected to local social and educational opportunities in and around Lewisham.

You will thrive in a busy environment and be able to manage lots of different tasks at once. You will understand how to create a safe and welcoming environment for refugees.

LRMN is a well established refugee and migrant organisation in London providing a range of services including specialist legal advice on immigration, housing and welfare benefits, counselling, health access, social and well-being activities, emergency supports and more. 

We offer our valued staff the following: 

  • 26 Annual leave days entitlement (pro-rata) plus bank holidays

  • days off between Christmas and New Year (normally 3 days)

  •  hybrid working and cored hours.
