Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is looking for someone to lead our Philanthropy & Partnerships programmes. It’s an exciting role, and an exciting time for SAS. We’re about to launch our new organisational strategy, and we’re in the final stages of implementing a new CRM (Dynamics).

You’ll be a great communicator and influencer able to work effectively across the organisation, bringing together key stakeholders and working collaboratively to bring our work to life for existing and potential donors.

Working with our colleagues in Campaigns & Policy and Communities you’ll gain an excellent understanding of our work and impact and have the ability to use this information to craft compelling applications, donor materials and reports.

• Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors with a primary focus of gifts of £100,000+
• Build excellent collaborative relationships with internal colleagues to collate information for funding proposals, impact reporting and stewardship opportunities.

• Work with our communications team to ensure we celebrate the support of our donors appropriately

An ability to assimilate complex information and translate this into compelling funding bids and impact reporting through excellent written communication skills.

A working knowledge of major gift, corporate & trust & foundation fundraising, including identification, research, solicitation and stewardship.

Experience of managing, coaching and mentoring a team to develop individuals to be the best they can be.

She focuses on corporate and philanthropic giving, with a particular focus on unrestricted income to help secure long-term financial stability for the organisation. Before joining ClientEarth, Camilla was Director of Development at Walkabout Foundation, where she built and implemented their 5 year fundraising strategy. Camilla started her career in Events Management, having learnt first at The Institute of Masters of Wine, and then solidifying her experience in fundraising at Brooke and then charity: water UK. Camilla went to school at the French Lycee Charles de Gaulle in London and completed her degree in History of Art at Oxford Brookes University.

Main Duties

• Lead on the project management, design, content creation and publishing of communications for the Philanthropy team (including impact report and newsletters) and work with translators to ensure communications are produced in other key ClientEarth languages
• Lead on the development of bespoke reporting for six and seven figure restricted and unrestricted gifts to produce high-quality, compelling reports tailored in style and content to suit a range of audiences in different geographies
• Work closely with the Philanthropy team to ensure gold standard stewardship for ClientEarth’s philanthropy donors: driving creative, unique and inspiring ideas for tailored stewardship touchpoints throughout the year;
• Partner with the Design Manager to deliver visually compelling reports and original donor stewardship touchpoints tailored to the Philanthropy portfolio;

The Legacy Case Assistant role is pivotal in supporting the award winning Legacy Case Management team to deliver our transformational legacy income of £15 million each year. Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is seeking a Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead our major gift fundraising programme, securing transformational support for our mission to protect the UK’s oceans, beaches, and marine wildlife. This is a pivotal role within our fundraising team, with responsibility for major donors alongside Trust & Foundation and corporate fundraising.

You’ll join a talented and ambitious team of fundraisers, managing a team of three, and work closely with the Director of Fundraising to develop strategies that inspire donors and secure long-term support.

What the role involves

• Lead SAS’s major gift fundraising programme, managing a portfolio with a primary focus on gifts of £100,000 .
• Develop and maintain Trust & Foundation and corporate relationships, ensuring excellent stewardship and maximising support.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of fundraisers, fostering talent, collaboration, and high performance.
• Work collaboratively with internal colleagues to translate SAS’s campaigns and impact into compelling proposals, donor communications, and reports.
• Oversee income and expenditure budgets, track KPIs, and report on performance.
• Thrive in a nimble campaigning organisation, adapting strategies to achieve ambitious fundraising targets.

About the role

We are looking for two exceptional Heads of Philanthropy to join our team to significantly increase philanthropic income for faculty fundraising priorities across King’s College London.Within your application, please indicate which position you are applying to, or if you are happy to be considered for both positions.

One role will lead the Health, Science & Technology philanthropy team, and the other will lead the Arts & Social Sciences philanthropy team. Candidates will need to demonstrate curiosity and genuine interest in the academic areas that fall within the role, and work in partnership with King’s experts and other stakeholders to be successful.

King’s has an ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for Faculties as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising and engagement campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029. There is currently at least one major gift fundraiser working in each Faculty. Working closely with the Associate Director, Faculty Philanthropy, the postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the major gift fundraising function. They will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of high value fundraisers to secure gifts at the £50k level and above.

We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of developing new, high value relationships, with experience of closing gifts at the six- and seven- figure level. They will need to demonstrate that they understand what is required to build and scale prospect portfolios. They should be intellectually curious and energised by the depth and breadth of King’s academic expertise, with particular interest and passion to work with senior university leaders and academics to secure funding for a range of priorities across either the Arts and Social Sciences, or Health, Science & Technology portfolio.

Working closely with the Associate Director, Faculty Philanthropy, the postholder will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the major gift fundraising function in advance of the launch of the university’s next public fundraising campaign. They will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of high value fundraisers to secure gifts at the £50k level and above.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite  contract. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office, on King’s campuses or meeting donors externally. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. A proven track record of identifying, cultivating and securing six- and seven- figure gifts from major donors
2. Strong leadership skills, with experience of managing a high-performing fundraising or major gifts fundraising team
3. The ability to negotiate throughout a large, complex environment with multi-dimensional points of view
4. Ability to plan strategically and implement those plans
5. Proven track record in establishing, monitoring, and achieving demanding targets, including income and activity metrics
6. Confidence and experience of working effectively with, and influencing, senior stakeholders
7. Excellent communication skills, including an ability to write and speak eloquently and to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all backgrounds
8. Willingness to attend or work at, where necessary, commitments outside of normal working hours

1. Experience of working within, or working knowledge of, higher education sector in the UK

About the role

As Trusts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Crisis’ income from charitable trusts, foundations, and lottery funders. Alongside managing a portfolio of high-value supporters, you’ll take the lead in identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding opportunities - building relationships with partners whose priorities align with Crisis’ mission to end homelessness.

Working closely with the Senior Trusts and Statutory Lead and the Head of Philanthropy and Development, you’ll help shape and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy that balances sustainable partnership management with bold new business development. You’ll bring creativity and strategic insight to finding and engaging new funders, developing compelling propositions that open doors to long-term collaboration.

This is a relationship-driven role that blends strategic planning with hands-on delivery. You’ll produce persuasive proposals and reports, developing strong relationships with funders and trustees, and collaborating across Crisis to communicate our impact through compelling cases for support. You’ll also manage a healthy prospect pipeline - driving forward new relationships while ensuring the team meets its income targets and continues to grow its supporter base.

About you

You’re an experienced and confident fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant gifts - at the five- or six-figure level - from charitable trusts, foundations, or statutory funders. You thrive on new business development: from researching and engaging cold prospects to building tailored, strategic relationships that grow into long-term partnerships.

You’re a persuasive communicator and strategic thinker, able to craft compelling proposals and deliver inspiring pitches that resonate with senior funders and trustees. You bring energy, curiosity, and resilience to prospecting — spotting opportunities others might miss and following them through to success.

As an Income Officer at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, you’ll play a key role in ensuring all income is processed efficiently, accurately, and with the highest standards of supporter care. You’ll help maintain the integrity of our income data and make sure every supporter’s contribution is handled with respect and precision. Key Responsibilities:

• Process income and related data accurately on the CRM database, ensuring all income is accurate and coded correctly
• Allocate restricted income in line with supporters’ wishes and organisational guidelines
• Maintain strong relationships with supporters, responding to enquiries by phone, email, or post with professionalism and care
• Manage over 7,000 regular supporters through Direct Debit, Standing Order, and Payroll Giving, including reconciliations and regular transaction processing
• Carry out Gift Aid checks before HMRC submissions and help maximise Gift Aid income
• Maintain and manage financial and data systems with high data integrity, ensuring compliance with Data Protection and audit requirements
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to streamline processes and identify practical improvements to manage increasing transaction volumes
