In this pivotal role, you’ll bring communities, healthcare partners and local insight together to dismantle barriers, build trust, and shape a model that could change outcomes across the UK.
What the job involves
As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.
What we want from you
You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. You’ll bring strategic thinking, the ability to turn insight into action, and the communication skills to engage, influence and inspire. You’ll be comfortable managing timelines, budgets and reporting impact, and you’ll bring a strong understanding of public health, health equity or programme management. Most importantly, you’ll champion inclusion, cultural sensitivity and our values in everything you do.
As this role is supporting our work in the West Midlands, candidates must live within, or no more than 30 minutes from, one of the following NHS Health Trust areas: Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Black Country, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and Solihull, or Coventry and Warwickshire.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

You will bring extensive experience of leading large scale face-to-face acquisition programmes, either through in-house teams, external agencies or a combination of both. You will have strong operational leadership skills and be comfortable managing complex budgets, overseeing high-value agency contracts and using data and insight to drive performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative legal manager for our international Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve environmental justice. A more detailed explanation of our organisational and programme strategy is set out in our 2024-2026 Strategy.
Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and governments. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (via law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also help nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. The role
As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. You’ll work across Foxglove and closely with leadership, as well as with external partners to build a resilient and well-governed organisation, able to manage growth and complexity while staying mission driven. This role manages one member of staff and multiple consultants.

Financial Management & Accounting

Role summary
Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is recruiting a Fundraising Manager to enhance fundraising capacity and ensure long-term financial sustainability of the organisation.
