About Us

Forest Peoples Programme (FPP) is a human rights charity that supports tropical forest peoples to protect their lands and livelihoods. We have 70 people on the team including human rights lawyers, anthropologists and social scientists working with communities and local organisations around the tropical belt. Up to half of the team live and work remotely. We are looking for a Logistics and Administration Officer to join the Administration team. An interest in the work of FPP and previous experience in logistics, travel coordination, or office administration is essential, while experience working with international teams and managing events or field operations would be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Travel & Logistics

• Coordinate international and domestic travel for staff, consultants, and partners (including travel, flights, visas, accommodation, insurance).
• Support with preparation of Visa applications.
• Ensure compliance with organisational travel policies and donor requirements.
• Maintain relationships with travel providers and negotiate cost-effective arrangements.
• Support logistics for workshops, conferences, and field trips, including registrations, venue booking and equipment procurement.
• Assist with monitoring and ordering travel equipment inventory including first aid, GPS units and other field equipment.
• Financial administration and liaising with the finance team.

Administration

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the organisation.

Learning and Development Officer (Aligned to Wales Synod Cymru and West Midlands)

This role is part of the Connexional Team Learning Network, supporting, encouraging, and equipping the Church to live out ‘Our Calling’ through worship, mission, evangelism and discipleship. The Learning Network primarily works with lay and ordained leaders, helping them equip others.

This post contributes to Connexional-wide learning and development initiatives, and is specifically aligned with the Wales Synod Cymru District as the Welsh speaking Learning and Development Officer (LDO) and the new West Midlands District following the merger of the current Birmingham District and the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District on 1st September 2025. Wales Synod Cymru is a bilingual District of 16 circuits, including the Welsh language Cymru Circuit which covers the whole of Wales, and the West Midlands District has 20 circuits across Birmingham, Wolverhampton and the Black Country, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. The Digital Communications Officer reports to the Digital Communications Manager. The post holder plays a key supporting role in communicating the work of the Trust – including its research, policy priorities, programmes, and alumni stories – to external audiences. The Digital Communications Officer will work alongside the Digital Communications Manager to create, coordinate and maintain our digital output. Main duties

Social Media

• Take a lead on content creation for the Trust’s social media, writing crisp copy and creating engaging visuals suitable for a range of audiences across LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

• Co-lead on the production of cross-platform video content, with a particular focus on TikTok and Instagram. Work with the Digital Communications Manager, Senior Programmes Officer: Marketing and Communications, and other colleagues to generate content ideas relevant to the Trust’s key areas of activity. Take an active, hands-on role in the planning, filming, and editing of innovative video content.

• Support with the day-to-day management of various socials platforms, including monitoring user engagement and answering inbox queries.

• Alongside the Digital Communications Manager, liaise with research colleagues to convert research outputs into engaging socials content, and work with colleagues in the programmes team to create impactful socials content promoting their work.

• Monitor social media engagement and activity more broadly, ensuring team members are aware of key developments and identifying examples of best practice in the sector.

• Advise and support all colleagues as necessary with their use of social media.

Website and Digital Communications

• Support with the management of the Sutton Trust website, and associated microsites, and the COSMO website, ensuring they are updated and remain responsive to the needs of our different audiences of students, teachers, policymakers, academics, funders and media.

• Work with external web developers to drive forward improvements to the Trust’s websites, ensuring quality user experience and SEO optimisation.

• Use Google Analytics and other monitoring tools to evaluate website performance and inform improvements. Work with a digital agency to manage the Trust’s Google Ads Grant Account and shape our approach to paid search advertising.

• Support with the maintenance of a proactive and diverse programme of blog content, helping to identify potential pieces from internal and external authors.

• Develop the Trust’s regular email newsletter, including drafting high quality content.

• Support with the formatting of research outputs and the design of other digital assets (such as charts), including those related to the COSMO Study.

Other

• Work with colleagues to maintain communications and content planning grids.

• Track and assess digital engagement in detail and assist with communicating performance to team members.

• Keep abreast of digital developments, assisting the Digital Communications Manager in providing expertise to the wider organisation.

• Proactively suggest improvements to the Trust’s digital communications approach.

• Write copy as required.

Person Specification

We welcome applications from individuals who have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• A strong understanding of using Canva (as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator) to design engaging and creative graphics for social media.

• Experience of creating cross-platform video content for social media (experience producing vertical video for TikTok and/or Instagram is particularly desirable). Basic videography, photography and editing skills would be advantageous.

• Experience of using various social media platforms and creating high-quality content.

• A good knowledge of and some experience in managing a website, including basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, experience of WordPress and an understanding of Google Analytics.

• An eye for detail, and the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.

We're looking for a Supported Housing and Contracts Officer to join our dedicated team in Wembley. 

This is a permanent full time (37 hours a week) role where you'll be in the office two days a week and working remotely for the other three. 

The starting salary is circa £32,000 - £40,000 per year depending on your experience.

The Role

As a Supported Housing and Contracts Officer you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our supported housing schemes, both leased and directly managed. 

You will be the main contact for our managing agents, ensuring that they meet their contractual obligations. You'll coordinate the completion of escalated maintenance works, planned maintenance programmes and recommend improvements and adaptations to projects.

In your directly managed properties you will be responsible for rent and housing duties and carrying our weekly fire panel inspections. 

What we'll need from you:

Our Supported Housing and Contracts Officers need a background in housing, this can be general or supported housing. You will also need to be a great communicator with experience in building relationships with both external and internal customers.

You'll be logging and monitoring enquiries and complaints as well as managing the teams databases, so will need excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and have experience working with different systems. 

Along with:

• A good understanding of contract management and compliance
• Experience of working with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• An understanding of the provision of support services to vulnerable tenants
• Experience of report writing
• The ability to collate and analyse data

We are looking to recruit a Funding Officer to join the London, Southeast and East Team (LSE&E), within the Strategy, Learning Partnerships team (SLP). You will be part of a team, led by a Funding Manager and comprised of several other Funding Officers.

The LSE&E team is headed up by a Senior Head of Regional Funding, together with two Senior Grant Making Managers (SGMM) for London & South East. There are 5 local patches for the South East and East and 3 local patches for London.

SLP supports both LSE&E regional grant making, England wide grant making and Partnerships. SLP Funding Officers are involved in England Wide and Partnership Work beyond LSE&E and across England regions. They work with LSE&E colleagues, the Regional Leadership Team and England Wide.

SLP has a uniquely collaborative function, working together with local patches, the region as a whole and across England.

The SLP team purpose is to;

• Enable and lead grant making across geographical boundaries within the LSE&E region & across England
• Ensure intentional and responsive grant making responds to sector needs, is impactful, focused and mission aligned
• Build evidence & drive continuous learning and impact in the mission areas and our equity-based approach
• Provide regional leadership for external engagement, partnerships & funder collaborations & lead and / or support project teams across LSE&E and share best practice

Your Responsibilities:

In Responsive Grant Making, you will support the pipeline of ideas across two or more LSE&E local patches, assessing by The Fund's priorities and missions and using understanding of regional priorities.

Using regional priorities and new IMD data, you will be horizon scanning opportunities for intentional external engagement and contribute to the LSE&E Regional Funding Plans.

You will support the region to deliver to the new routes to partnership and England Wide funding. You will learn about and support the region with Funding Mechanisms that will enable flexible grant making.

You will have an interest in learning and act as the Regional Learning Lead (up to 20% of time – variable according to team / regional priorities).

With oversight from your manager, you will provide leadership to SLP learning and implement high quality and relevant learning & events that meet the strategic objectives of the region.

You will guide and support the LSE&E Mission Leads – these are a group of Funding Officers who support Learning across LSE&E.

You will support them to deliver on learning needs, priorities and events – and work collaboratively alongside the rest of SLP and the Regional Leadership Team (RLT).

In return we can offer the opportunity to develop relevant skills and gain experience working with one of the largest funders in the UK. You can progress to becoming a trained and skilled Funding Officer with good progression routes in the sector.

Lead on the delivery of a number of events from the agreed portfolio; both owned and third party events. Responsibilities to include researching an events feasibility, planning, marketing, recruiting participants, and evaluation. Providing high levels of supporter care and ensuring income and expenditure targets are met or exceeded for each event.
Where required, assist with developing business cases for new events, by following the established approval process, and evidencing your case with supporter-led insight, market research and financial and non-financial KPIs.
Work closely with colleagues in marketing, press and PR in producing and implementing a marketing and PR plan for all events within remit, including researching and developing publicity plans for individual events and contributing to the development of any printed materials, web content and social media.
Prepare and manage personal budgets, always looking for ways to increase income streams and decrease expenditure Manage relationships with internal,external suppliers, event providers and key stakeholders to ensure efficient event delivery and added value for participants.
Ensure that all challenge events are contracted, adhere to the law and that adequate health & safety measures are in place.
Supervise volunteers where necessary, both in the office and at events.
Work closely with colleagues on the development and implementation of a recruitment stewardship plan, including first contact, fulfilment, correspondence and administrative systems, to ensure maximum supporter satisfaction, income and retention.
Build long term relationships with supporters by creating a first class supporter experience, having regular contact through email, social media and telephone conversations.
Working with the Data team, implement communication plans for supporters to ensure that they are receiving the highest levels of support.

The Candidate
Experience of working within a fundraising, Supporter care, marketing or customer service environment

In this role, you will:

• Lead the strategic development, delivery and growth of a portfolio of national fundraising event products, ensuring plans are insight-led and supporter-focused
• Act as the product expert and single point of contact, owning product master plans, resolving issues and driving stakeholder alignment across the charity
• Build strong relationships and provide senior leadership to internal teams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability and delivery across all workstreams
• Use data, insight and market trends to set KPIs, monitor performance, evaluate ROI and continuously improve product outcomes
• Own and manage product budgets, including forecasting, re-forecasting, income and expenditure tracking
• Ensure exceptional supporter journeys from enquiry through to thanking, across multiple channels and in line with consent and compliance requirements
• Manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies and fundraising platforms
• Keep a watching brief on the wider fundraising and events landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and new product development
• Support the delivery of safe, high-quality in-person event experiences, with participant wellbeing as a priority
• Lead on product evaluation, risk management and policy sign-off where appropriate

Skills Needed

• Proven experience in product management, programme management or portfolio leadership, ideally within events, fundraising or supporter-led products
• Strong ability to develop and deliver insight-led strategies, using data, analysis and market understanding to drive performance and growth
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience leading through influence and securing buy-in at senior levels
• Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insight into clear, actionable recommendations
• Strong understanding of supporter or customer journeys, including recruitment, engagement, stewardship and retention across multiple channels
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining attention to detail while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication and briefing skills, able to translate strategy into clear plans and guidance for a wide range of audiences

The Community Connectors programme is an exciting partnership between Community Links, Aston Mansfield, Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Redbridge, and the NHS East London Foundation Trust (ELFT).

Community Connectors work alongside ELFT under what is called the Mental Health Transformation Programme. The ethos of the programme is recovery focused, exploring needs through complexity (rather than diagnosis), a focus on a person’s strengths and assets, and on the wider determinants of health and wellbeing.

The role involves providing holistic support to people suffering from a serious mental illness or SMI. Service users will have a single or range of diagnosed conditions, will be known to ELFT and will therefore have a range of needs, including symptoms of anxiety or depression, or have a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Specifically, the Community Connector will work with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) who sit within primary care networks or PCNs (clusters of GP practices) across Newham, and will support people in accessing appropriate local services, embodying a true example of wrap around support.

Above all, the Community Connector will be a strong networker who is able to engage multiple stakeholders for the betterment of service user welfare and outcomes.
