The Kensington + Chelsea Foundation is an independent local charity which was founded in 2008 to tackle the key inequalities in our community. While our borough is often associated with wealth and affluence, it also has areas of severe deprivation. Nearly one third of children in K+C are eligible for Free School Meals, life expectancy between residents from different wards varies by nearly two decades, and in-work poverty has increased by 46% since 2020.

The K+C Foundation is now in an exciting phase of growth, and we want to increase our profile, our income and, most importantly, our impact.

The Community Engagement + Grants Officer plays a key role in our grants team which is  responsible for all aspects of our grantmaking, as well as actively building long-lasting relationships with the local voluntary sector and wider community. The grants team members are our experts in local needs and in the effectiveness of our charity partners in responding to them. In recent years, we have adopted a participatory approach for distributing our larger funds, which means decisions around funding are delegated to panels of local residents who have lived experience of the issues we are trying to tackle. 

The Community Engagement + Grants Officer supports the Senior Grant Manager with the delivery of all of our larger grant rounds, as well as managing our small grants programme and donor-led grants. It is a busy and varied role, with opportunities to develop your skills and experience in a small and supportive team. 

 

We’re currently looking for a Deputy Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer, offered on a fixed term basis of 6 months, to help us deliver our mission. This a full-time position, 35 hours per week.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a broad range of high‑level Executive Office support activities, including:

• Preparing, coordinating and servicing senior leadership meetings, including drafting clear agendas, collating accurate papers, taking high‑quality minutes and tracking actions with a strong attention to detail.
• Providing high‑quality executive and administrative support to the CEO Office, including complex diary and inbox management, and the drafting, handling and dispatch of correspondence on behalf of the Group CEO with excellent written accuracy and judgment.
• Supporting effective planning, briefing and preparation to ensure the Group CEO is fully equipped for internal and external engagements, with well‑structured briefings and precise, timely documentation.

Projects you may work on include:

• Coordinating national and international travel programmes for the Group CEO, President and senior trustees, producing accurate itineraries and paperwork to ensure effective use of time and seamless stakeholder engagement.
• Supporting the delivery of high‑profile Institute events involving the Group CEO, Executive Team and senior stakeholders, with a strong focus on detail, logistics and written briefings.
• Undertaking short‑term project work and research for the Executive Team, analysing and summarising information clearly and producing briefings, reports or presentations as required.

Who will I work with?

You’ll work closely with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders, including:

• The CEO Office Operations Manager and Executive Assistant to the Group CEO and President, working collaboratively to ensure the smooth, accurate and professional running of the Executive Office.
• Executive Directors, senior trustees and members of the Leadership Team across the Institute and its subsidiary companies, including IOP Publishing.
• Senior internal and external stakeholders, including equivalent CEO offices in partner organisations, government and learned societies, requiring clear, professional written communication and attention to detail.

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if you bring:

Essential:

• Proven experience providing high‑level PA or Executive Assistant support in a fast‑paced, complex environment, including diary management, meeting support and high‑quality minute‑taking.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, accurate and professional correspondence, briefings and minutes, alongside a consistently high level of attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the judgment and discretion to handle confidential and sensitive information.

How will I be working?

We operate a flexible, trust based working model that gives colleagues autonomy over how, when and where they work, while recognising the value of in person collaboration. You will be assigned a base office, with hybrid working offered as standard. This role does however involve regular visits to our head office based on business needs.

Job Title: Heritage Advisor, Nature in Sacred Places (NiSP)

Duration: Fixed Term, 15 months (development phase)

The Churches Conservation Trust is a partner in the Nature in Sacred Places (NISP) National Lottery Heritage Fund project. This is a £5.2m project with an 18-month development phase followed by a four-year delivery phase (subject to securing further funding), in partnership with Natural England, the Church of England, Churches Conservation Trust and Caring for God’s Acre. NISP will build on principles established by the Bats in Churches Project, a previous project supported by the Heritage Fund which worked with faith groups, community volunteers, young people and professionals across three main strands, Broadening engagement, Supporting practical action and Building professional capacity.

Overall job purpose

As a member of the Nature in Sacred Places project team, the post-holder will be responsible for:

• Providing advice on the management, conservation, maintenance and repairs of historic buildings and of the structures within their curtilage (e.g. memorials, gravestones, walls and gates, path etc.);
• Provide advice on conservation and cleaning of built heritage and artefacts, helping to plan solutions to enable better management, greater access and enjoyment, providing specialist advice on making changes to, and the repair of, historic places of worship and obtaining necessary permissions.

Working with other project partners the post holder will develop a template for Conservation Management Plan of both historic and natural environments that is proportionate and appropriate for volunteers to adopt and deliver.

Terrence Higgins Trust is seeking a motivated, fully or part qualified Assistant Management Accountant to support the delivery of high quality financial data and reporting across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven charity, helping to ensure robust financial processes that support our mission to end new HIV transmissions and tackle stigma. This is a a unique opportunity has arisen within a national breastfeeding charity to support the organisation through an exciting new phase of development. 

The ABM is a small but growing national charity. To support our expanding activity, we are creating a new role that provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across the organisation. We exist to change the odds stacked against Black people by embedding race equity into systemic change so that thriving is not the exception but the norm.

Global Black Thrive evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.

Our work covers all life stages – children and young people, working age adults and older adults. Our guiding principle is to centre the lived experiences of Black communities in all that we do, and our strategic priorities are to embed race equity in systems change and to decolonise the evidence landscape.

Role Description

Following a recent round of successful funding, Black Thrive are looking for a highly skilled and community-focused Research & Evaluation Lead to strengthen the evidence and learning functions across the Thriving Futures – Scaling Systems Change programme. This role is central to building a robust understanding of community needs, mental health outcomes, and the impact of systems change activities on Black communities across our localities.

This position requires a researcher with experience in mixed-methods research and who is confident in working both strategically and on the ground in community settings. You will be responsible for developing and implementing evaluation frameworks, gathering high-quality data, and supporting Black Thrive Global and the localities in their own monitoring, learning, and evaluation capacity. Strong relationship-building skills are essential, as much of this role involves working closely with black led organisations, local leaders, and partners across health, voluntary, and statutory sectors.

You will work closely with the Head of Research and Evaluation and the wider Thriving Futures team to design, deliver, and communicate research and evaluation projects that drive learning and improvement. Your work will combine community-based data collection, analysis, inclusive and culturally grounded evaluation methods, and clear reporting that helps us tell the story of our progress and impact.

Black Thrive uses Asana, Microsoft Excel, and a range of qualitative and quantitative tools to track learning, evidence systemic change outcomes, and ensure the programme remains responsive to the needs and priorities of Black communities.

Key responsibilities

Community-Embedded Research & Evaluation

• Lead on-the-ground community-based research activities, including regular engagement with localities, community organisations, grassroots partners, and residents to understand lived experiences, mental health outcomes, and community-identified priorities.
• Conduct mixed-methods community needs assessments to capture changing local conditions, emerging challenges, and gaps in support provision across priority localities.
• Build trusted relationships with community partners to co-design evaluation activities, ensuring methods are culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and accessible to organisations operating in diverse community settings.
• Facilitate participatory research approaches (e.g., community researcher models, participatory action research, peer-led data collection) to ensure the voices of Black communities are embedded in all evaluation work.

Supporting Community Organisations & Localities

• Work collaboratively with local organisations to interpret findings and co-generate learning that strengthens community-led decision-making and informs systemic change.

Scaling Systems Change Programme Evaluation

• Lead the development of Scaling Systems Change and support in shaping the programmatic evaluation for the Scaling Systems Change programme, including identifying community-relevant indicators, data sources, and measurement approaches that reflect both outcomes and structural shifts.
• Develop and refine theories of change and logic models in collaboration with programme teams and community stakeholders.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data related to the Scaling Systems Change programme, synthesising insights into evaluative conclusions and strategic recommendations.
• Track progress on system-level outcomes and community-driven indicators, ensuring alignment with Black Thrive Global’s race equity mission and systems change goals.

• Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school. 

• Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school and online consultancy support, and one-to-one advice.

• Build credibility and purposeful relationships with programme participants, both at programme days and touchpoints, and on an on-going basis to drive impact in our schools.

• Be responsible for participant learning and experience on your programmes, upholding high standards for all elements such as preparation, adapting to participant needs, content and rigour, on-going interactions and support, and participant feedback.

Learning content & programme development

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to grow fundraising income for the Choral Foundation in support of the music of the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace. The new Development Manager will be expected to develop the current fundraising landscape and be able to work across a range of fundraising specialisms. They will work closely with the Chair of the Choral Foundation, the Director of Music at the Chapel Royal and stakeholders across the partner  organisations, including Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) and the Royal Household.

The ITF is looking for an experienced administrative/ global operations leader to head our administration department. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of support for governance, meetings and events across our departments including land transport, civil aviation and tourism, women transport workers, young transport workers, legal, campaigns, communications, and the office of the general secretary.

About the Role

The Head of Global Administration leads the ITF’s global administration function, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative, travel, language and governance support services across the organisation. The role provides strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the systems, processes and resources are in place to support ITF programmes, campaigns and governance activities worldwide.

It leads a global administration team with six direct reports, including administration coordinators, the travel coordinator and translation coordinators.

You will work closely with ITF regional offices and affiliates worldwide to ensure consistent, high-quality administrative support across the organisation.

Overseeing all administrative processes, you will maintain constructive relationships with affiliates and social partners, manage venue and service contracts, and support accurate and timely budget administration. Working closely with the Director of Global Campaigns and Operations, senior leaders and regional colleagues, you will help strengthen administrative systems that are efficient, coordinated and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Global Administration workplan and contribute to ITF organisational planning and budgeting.
• Lead and develop the ITF global administration team, ensuring effective deployment of resources and high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement the ITF’s language and travel strategies.
• Oversee the operational delivery of governance meetings, conferences and events including Congress.
• Lead improvements in administrative systems and processes, supporting standardisation, automation and simplification.
• Manage relationships with affiliates, suppliers and service providers.
• Support the Office of the General Secretary and senior leadership with high-level administrative coordination.
• Work collaboratively with regional and departmental administrative teams to maintain consistent global standards.

About You

You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong track record of leading teams and improving systems. You bring sound judgement, a solutions-focused approach and the ability to support people in a complex, fast-moving environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience managing administrative /operational teams, with an inclusive and supportive leadership style.
• Experience developing and implementing organisational policies or administrative systems.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and regions in an international organisation.
• Strong knowledge of administrative practices, and experience applying them in complex organisations.
• Proficiency in management functions, including line management, event management, contract negotiation, budget oversight, financial reporting and supplier coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and work productively with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong digital administration skills including Microsoft 365, data analysis, reporting and familiarity with event or workflow management systems.

The Team

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services across England and Wales. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health and is funded by NHS England, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

The Role

The purpose of this role is to maximise impact across a growing national programme with diverse stakeholders, ensuring consistent delivery and strategic alignment.

The PMO Lead will:

• Line manage the IPS Grow Project Managers
• Provide oversight of the IPS Grow project portfolio
• Ensure a consistent, high quality and proportionate approach to project management
• Work closely with Directors to identify, prioritise and sequence projects

Alongside this leadership role, the PMO Lead will also lead and deliver projects directly. Approximately 1.5 days per week will be focused on PMO leadership, people management and portfolio oversight, with the remainder of time spent on project delivery.

Projects within IPS Grow are varied and often complex, involving multiple internal teams, external partners and commissioners. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands on delivery with shaping how work happens across the IPS Grow programme.
