London Community Foundation exist to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged people in London by working with donors to invest in small, local charities and community groups.

We are now seeking a Finance Director to play a pivotal role in shaping our future, strengthening our financial sustainability, supporting our governance, and enabling us to deliver greater impact for London’s communities.

The role

As Finance Director, you will sit at the heart of decision-making within a purpose-driven organisation, influencing strategy, supporting the Board, guiding investment decisions and ensuring that resources are directed where they matter most.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO, Board, and committees to ensure strong financial leadership, governance, and long-term sustainability.

You will:

· Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance across the organisation

· Provide clear, accessible financial insight to support decision-making at Board and executive level

· Oversee financial control, reporting, audit, and compliance (including SORP)

· Support stewardship of investments and endowment funds

· Lead risk, assurance, and governance processes, including engagement with the Finance, Risk & Resources Committee

· Act as Company Secretary, ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance

· Oversee contracts, supply chain, and value-for-money across the organisation

· Provide strategic oversight of systems, data, and technology, including line management of the Technology Manager

· Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

This is a broad and influential role, combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, well-suited to someone who enjoys working across organisational boundaries and shaping how an organisation operates.

About you

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience operating at a senior level and advising Boards and executive teams.

You will bring:

· A track record of leading financial strategy, planning, and organisational performance

· Strong experience in governance, risk, and compliance within complex environments

· Confidence working with Boards, committees, and senior stakeholders

· The ability to translate financial information into clear, actionable insight

About the role

As an Events Coordinator at the British Museum, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional events within one of the world's most iconic cultural institutions. Job Purpose:

 This role will lead the development and delivery of Allergy UK’s youth engagement initiative. We are beginning several exciting new projects focused on engaging young people who live with allergy and providing opportunities for them to have a voice and support them in raising awareness of the issues that affect their life. We are seeking young people’s participation and co-production in all activities we develop to support their needs. The role of Youth Engagement Officer will be to engage with young people across the UK, to ensure that they have the opportunities and support to shape and influence Allergy UK’s programmes and activities for young people living with allergy.

The Youth & Community Engagement Officer will engage with children and young people across the UK to ensure they are meaningfully involved and supported to influence Allergy UK’s services, campaigns and resources. This includes creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people and parents and carers feel listened to and empowered to share their experiences.

The successful individual will develop youth opportunities that build confidence, skills and life chances, while supporting children and young people living with allergy to overcome the social, emotional and practical barriers they may face. A key part of the role will be working collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure their voice inform decision making and design.

As a Youth & Community Engagement Officer, you will have experience of working positively with children, young people and families, and have a proactive, organised and confident approach.

Strong organisation skills and initiative are essential as you will be the lead Allergy UK’s youth provision.

You will coordinate a range of activities on-line and in-person engagement sessions, blogs, podcasts, learning opportunities and digital activities all rooted in co-production principles. You will work as part of a wider team to engage children, young people and parents and carers, to amplify unheard voices and stories, and help drive positive change for families living with allergy.

The post is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund until September 2028. As a grant- funded role, the postholder will be responsible for the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of agreed grant outcome and KPI’s, ensuring full compliance with funder requirements and reporting deadlines.

o Continue to design and deliver youth-led services with the existing 18–25 youth group for people living with allergies

This includes promoting a strong safeguarding culture, adhering to Allergy UK’s safeguarding policies and procedures, identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns appropriately, completing and contributing to risk assessments, and working closely with designated safeguarding leads and relevant staff to ensure safe, inclusive and compliant practice at all times.

· Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring the secure and compliant recording of sensitive data on Allergy UK’s Salesforce database in line with data protection requirements.

Our South Tees Perinatal service operates over Redcar and Middlesborough and are just entering a 3 year extension to our current contract.

Main Responsibilities:

· Provide leadership, management and supervision to operational services that provide Family Time sessions, Family Outreach support and Volunteering support, plus perinatal support to families.

· Ensure that services are delivered to a good quality standard in relation to practice and performance and that services can demonstrate their impact using evidence based outcomes tools.

Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness services. Homeless Link is the national membership charity for frontline homelessness agencies and the wider housing with health, care and support sector in England. With more than 750 members, we work to improve services and campaign for policy change that will help end homelessness and ensure that everyone has a place to call home and the support they need to keep it.

As Legacy and In-Memory Manager you will be responsible for leading your team to drive transformational change, through the delivery of our legacy and in-memory growth strategy. 

You will set objectives and oversee team activity to deliver the entire legacy journey with the aim of achieving significant long-term growth in revenue income to support our ambitious plans to bring Maggie’s cancer care to everyone who needs us.

Working on our Health Charity Partnership (HCP) with counterparts at the British Heart Foundation, and Cancer Research UK, this award winning, UK-wide partnership aims to improve the health of the nation using the retailer’s reach and influence.

You will be responsible for leading and delivering income generation, project managing strategic activities, and delivering against shared and charity specific goals. You will also contribute to the development and success of the Account Management Team, and support cross team-projects and take on additional tasks as required.

This role will also see you line manage a Partnership Officer (Account Management) who supports on the delivery of the Tesco Partnership.

Role description:

This role works very closely with colleagues across multiple internal teams including our Clinical Team (working with a Health Lead), our Marketing team (including Social Media Manager, Senior Marketing Manager, and Brand and Creative colleagues) and our Policy Team. This role will need to be well networked across teams including Nations and Regions teams and Strategy and Planning.

Externally, this role will work closely with peers at the British Heart Foundation, and Cancer Research UK. The role will also work with colleagues at Tesco, which will also include their PR and communications agencies.

You will also play an active role in driving and supporting best practice across the team and charity and will also contribute to cross-team projects and other tasks as required.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will have account management experience with a track record of delivering six and seven-figure strategic partnerships either within a charity or corporate setting. Good time management and organisational skills are required to manage a busy and diverse workload. You’ll need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Using your excellent communication skills, you will be able to convey ideas succinctly and persuasively to create impactful proposals and other communications.

You’ll have good understanding of commercial principles, understand what drives businesses, and how to lead and deliver multi-stream income generation that are mutually beneficial through partnership.  You’ll have a passion for identifying new financial and non-financial opportunities and be proactive in your approach to seeking these out. Having a collaborative approach to work is vital in this role, so you’ll build excellent relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, operating with trust, respect, and transparency.
