Responsibilities of our Cloud Engineer:

- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions

What we’re looking for in our Cloud Engineer:

We have a new vacancy for an HR Operations Coordinator in the Strategy, Finance and Operations team, reporting to the Head of People. The person will be supporting HR and People related operational activities by delivering excellent support through strong relationships across the organisation.The salary is £13,780 per year (18.75 paid contractual hours per week). • Promptly responding and resolving colleague queries from across the organisation

About the Programme

The Foundation has been awarded a £2.1m grant by the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) to deliver a pilot as part of it's Grant Holder Support programme. This pilot, Investing in the Power of Civil Society (IIPCS), will support up to 640 charities across the Northwest, Southwest of England and Yorkshire and Humber . 

Delivered in partnership with eight organisations — IVAR, Groundwork UK and local trusts, CAST, The School for Social Entrepreneurs, NCVO, Voice4Change England, the AVOCADO Foundation and Access (advisory) — the pilot will offer diagnostic-led, tailored and relational support to help organisations strengthen their work.

Support will focus on resilience, environmental impact, readiness for AI and digital technology, enabling participating charities to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. With a strong emphasis on equity and access, the pilot is designed to ensure organisations of all sizes and backgrounds can benefit.

We will be using a test-and-learn approach — trying out new ways of supporting charities, learning from what works and what doesn’t, and using those insights to improve future programmes. This approach will help shape NLCF’s future support for both grant holders and grant seekers, strengthen the Foundation and partners’ own development practice, and contribute to wider learning across the sector.

About the Role

As Relationship Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering this new, collaborative pilot programme. You’ll be the key point of contact for grant holders referred into the programme, guiding them through a diagnostic process, co-creating tailored development plans, and connecting them with the right support.

You’ll also work closely with National Lottery Community Fund Funding Officers, helping them make confident and effective referrals. Your work will ensure that learning from these relationships directly informs the future design of the programme and how the UK’s largest non-statutory community funder supports small charities.

This is a highly relational role that requires empathy, curiosity, and a deep understanding of the voluntary sector.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Lead IT infrastructure engineer to take ownership of our IT infrastructure and play a pivotal role in our migration from on-premises to Microsoft Azure.

This is a deeply hands-on, delivery-focused role where you’ll lead the technical design, build, deployment and maintenance of our infrastructure services across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments. You’ll be responsible for modernising and optimising our infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with best practice.

You’ll take the lead in executing our move to a hybrid Azure environment. Designing, building and deploying solutions yourself while guiding and mentoring engineers across the team. Alongside transformation work, you’ll also own day-to-day infrastructure operations, troubleshooting and driving continuous improvement.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening our cyber security posture, including vulnerability management, configuration hardening, incident response, compliance activities and maintaining accreditations such as Cyber Essentials Plus.

Working with the Head of IT, you’ll contribute to the development of the infrastructure roadmap, act as a subject matter expert across the organisation, and ensure our systems support the charity’s vital work.

About you

You’ll be an experienced infrastructure professional with strong hands-on expertise in:

• Designing, building and maintaining hybrid environments, particularly Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, compute and monitoring).
• Leading and delivering on-premises to Azure migration projects.
• Working across a wide range of enterprise infrastructure technologies across networking, virtualisation, storage, security, identity, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Managing Microsoft services such as Windows Server, Hyper-V, Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Defender, Exchange, SharePoint etc.
• Strengthening infrastructure security across technical controls and operational procedures.

Job Purpose

The finance team is a core part of our Operations Directorate, and although we’re a small team we have a huge impact on the effectiveness of our organisation. The team provides support and guidance to all staff members on how to process invoices, expenses, and generally manage their budgets effectively. The main purpose of the Finance Officer role is to provide key support to the finance team with our finance processes, supporting staff members across the organisation, helping with any queries on a day-to-day basis, as well as supporting our members and suppliers with queries. The Finance Officer ensures all financial transactions are processed in accordance with BSR’s procedures and processes and in line with data protection regulations. 

You don’t need to have worked in the charity sector previously. Continual professional development is vital for us as a team, and so we’re happy to support you if you’re interested in completing a professional finance qualification.

Main Responsibilities

Purchase Ledger 

• Receive all supplier invoices (including member expenses), checking correct finance codes with relevant nominal, department, project, VAT and fund codes are on all invoices, and that the necessary authorisation is present 
• Scan and file all finance related documents (e.g. bank statements)  
• Set up fortnightly supplier payment runs for review by the Finance Manager 

 Sales Ledger 

• Work with budget holders and project leads to produce sales invoices  
• Liaise with budget holders to ensure correct coding of all invoices (nominal, department, project, VAT, and fund codes) 
• Credit Control – dealing with customer queries and chasing for payments fortnightly 

Other Finance Responsibilities 

• Manage monthly credit card process including posting in Dext and reconciliation in Xero  
• Assist the Finance Manager with preparing for year end and audit fieldwork 
• Reconcile purchase ledger payments with the bank transactions 
• Run new starter finance inductions for budget holders and set up new staff on finance systems 
• Maintain process documents for all finance systems

• Ensure new starters are processed by HR

CDD is the sponsor of early phase and precision medicine clinical trials in oncology agents. Our broad portfolio rivals that of a medium-sized pharmaceutical company, spanning antibodies, cell therapies, vaccines, drug conjugates and small molecules, making this an interesting and dynamic area to work in.

As a Medical Writer you'll be providing broad medical writing expertise for the production of clinical study reports, investigator brochures and other clinical/scientific reports for CDD's early phase oncology trials. As well as acting as lead author on your assigned projects and performing quality control review of documents produced by other Medical Writers, you will be fully embedded within a multidisciplinary, cross functional project team along with other CDD departments. Collaboration is essential, as well as the ability to work strategically within an evolving environment.

Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for anyone who only has experience in medical writing for pharmacovigilance or medical devices or anyone who only has medical writing experience within science comms. You must come with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trial documents e.g. investigator brochures, clinical study reports and posting of clinical trial summary results. This is a great opportunity for a current Regulatory Medical Writer looking to move into a more purpose driven environment or to gain valuable experience withing phase 1 oncology trials. Or you could be a Medical Writing Associate ready to take that next step.

What will I be doing?

• Writing, editing, reviewing and quality control of documents for the timely production of clinical study reports and investigator brochures.

• Managing the preparation of clinical study reports by building consensus with the project teams on report requirements, responsibilities for delivery of data and production timelines, and participating in the preparation and review of summary clinical trial results and other disclosures as required.

• Managing the scheduling, preparation and updating of investigator brochure packages in use in CDD-sponsored trials, ensuring review at least annually in line with current regulations.

• Liaising with the project team to complete project-specific tasks including review of protocols, Trial Master Files, data (including expert reports), and analytical plans.

What are you looking for?

• Proven experience in medical / medical sciences writing. This should include significant experience in regulatory medical writing or a mix of experience in regulatory medical writing plus substantial relevant experience in a related role in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance or medical writing.

• Science graduate or equivalent experience of scientific writing.

• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trial documents e.g. investigator brochures, clinical study reports and posting of clinical trial summary results.

• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail.

• Confident communication skills and able to foster strong working relationships both internally and externally.

• Project Management skills

• Experience within early phase oncology trials is desirable but not essential (*Please do still apply even if you don't have this*)

We’re looking for a Digital Communications Officer to support the Digital Communications Manager in promoting, strengthening, and protecting the reputation of the Academy by delivering and evaluating digital campaigns across key communications channels that engage and influence new and existing audiences.

You will achieve this by creating high-quality, engaging written and visual content that is on brand and optimised for different audiences and digital channels used by the Academy, including social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Bluesky and YouTube), email and our website. Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Direction: Lead PBI UK, representing it to external stakeholders, including funders, policymakers, collaborators and the legal community. Work with the PBI UK team to develop operational projects and opportunities. Give strategic direction and practical support to the implementation of advocacy on policy, countries and cases.
• Liaison with Broader PBI: Lead liaison with PBI’s International Office and other global bodies, ensuring that PBI UK evolves in a way which contributes to PBI’s global evolution, and maintaining good relationships with other PBI teams.
• Liaison with PBI’s Boards and Ambassadors: Work closely with the Finance Manager and PBI UK staff in the production of PBI UK’s annual budget and plan, using PBI UK’s resources effectively and efficiently. Ensure effective implementation of Board decisions, with receipt of clear delegation of authority. Develop relevant policies for Board approval and ensure compliance, and keep the Chair informed of all important matters. Beyond partner requirements, Magic Breakfast has a hybrid approach including working from home and occasional meetings at the charity’s London office. JOB PURPOSE

Magic Breakfast has a motivated and high performing Corporate Partnerships team which was recently successful in securing a transformational partnership with Deutsche Bank, beginning in January 2026. We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Executive to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager who will together be dedicated to supporting that partnership over the next two years.

Background on the partnership:

Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with Magic Breakfast beginning January 2026 with an ambition of raising £2m over that time. The partnership will be significant for the charity. Going beyond fundraising, the company aims to unlock further value by helping to build the charity’s capacity and provide access to in-house resources and expertise. Through their partnership with Magic Breakfast, Deutsche Bank is committed to enabling young people to develop life skills and emotional resilience whilst promoting social and economic equality for young people. The partnership also has the potential ensure a legacy beyond the 24-month partnership.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will work with a Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver one of the charity’s largest, most high-profile and multi-faceted partnerships to date. Together you will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the organisation, to maximise potential of this transformational partnership.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with the CSR Team at Deutsche Bank and their wider employee network.

In addition, you will be expected to support other corporate partnerships and collaborate with the wider fundraising team to deliver projects and implement processes that support Magic Breakfast’s Fundraising & Development team in achieving its income targets and wider success.

Partnership management:

• Work with the Partnerships Manager to produce compelling and timely reports for the funder.
• Work with the Partnerships Manager and Volunteering Executive to develop and coordinate a volunteering programme for Deutsche Bank’s workforce.
• Engage Deutsche Bank’s workforce through webinars, school visits and employee fundraising activity and campaigns, helping to build recognition of Magic Breakfast.
• Represent Magic Breakfast at events hosted by Deutsche Bank and brief other Magic Breakfast representatives when required.

Internal working:

•  Work with the Partnerships Manager to create a partnership development plan to maximise the potential of Deutsche Bank.
• Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships Team and Fundraising & Development Team to support broader departmental and organisational goals.
• Support growth by proactively identifying introductions to new prospects, whether corporate contacts or philanthropists.
• Work closely with all departments where relevant across Magic Breakfast to maximise the potential of the partnership in delivering the charity’s 2025-2028 Business Plan.
• Engage with Service Delivery team to enable school visits and volunteering opportunities to engage Deutsche Bank employees.
• Engage with the Brand and Marketing team to ensure that partnership comms and PR opportunities are optimised.

Planning, reporting and due diligence:

• Maintain accurate financial forecasting including updating monthly records.
• Ensure that Deutsche Bank and any third parties that work with Magic Breakfast  as a result of the partnership adhere to our ethical fundraising policy, and flag any risks upwards for resolution if necessary.
• Ensure all partnership activity is carried out in line with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, and that key documents such as partner contracts are saved on Salesforce.
• Taking an active role in delivering and evaluating progress against the charity’s three year business plan, Fundraising strategy and as well as Corporate Partnerships team objectives and KPIs.
• Inform and support the development of the Fundraising and Development Team budget with understanding and oversight of the charity’s overall budget and accounts.
• Effectively support the day-to-day financial management of the team.
• Take responsibility for the operationalisation of Magic Breakfast’s policies and practice in relation to safeguarding, risk management, and GDPR across the team.

About the Programme
The Foundation has been awarded a £2.1m grant by the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) to deliver a pilot as part of its Grant Holder Support programme. This pilot, Investing in the Power of Civil Society (IIPCS), will support up to 640 charities across the Northwest, Southwest of England and Yorkshire and Humber.

Delivered in partnership with eight organisations — IVAR, Groundwork UK and local trusts, CAST, The School for Social Entrepreneurs, NCVO, Voice4Change England, the AVOCADO Foundation and Access (advisory) — the pilot will offer diagnostic-led, tailored and relational support to help organisations strengthen their work.

Support will focus on resilience, environmental impact, readiness for AI and digital technology, enabling participating charities to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. With a strong emphasis on equity and access, the pilot is designed to ensure organisations of all sizes and backgrounds can benefit.

We will be using a test-and-learn approach — trying out new ways of supporting charities, learning from what works and what doesn’t, and using those insights to improve future programmes. This approach will help shape NLCF’s future support for both grant holders and grant seekers, strengthen the Foundation and partners’ own development practice, and contribute to wider learning across the sector.

BACKGROUND

Ashiana is a ‘by and for’ women led BME VAWG service with 30 years’ experience in delivering a holistic range of specialist services to South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern women affected by Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG).

OUR SERVICES

Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bedspaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG, enabling them to make informed decisions and exit violent relationships. We provide a legal service supporting women with no recourse to public funds to help resolve their immigration status.

Counselling is offered for women and girls affected by VAWG. The counselling service works from an integrative stance, with the focus of providing a holistic service whereby we also work alongside other services and provide specialist domestic violence group work. The emphasis of therapeutic work with our clients is from a trauma informed model.

We also deliver an education programme for young people in secondary schools in East London aimed at preventing domestic violence and enabling young people experiencing domestic violence to access appropriate services. The prevention service includes delivering a whole school approach in schools to young people as well as group work to women and girls across North East London boroughs as well as community engagement activities and delivery. We deliver a range of awareness raising workshops for young people in the community and training on domestic violence for professionals in the voluntary and statutory sector.

About the Role 

This role will lead Media Trust’s climate work. As Senior Programme Manager, you will run our flagship Communicating Climate programme and lead Media Trust’s work on the Diverse Voices programme. You will help us further develop our climate work and ensure our existing programmes are cutting edge and meet the demands of this moment.

This role will directly manage our Communicating Climate programme. The Senior Programme Manager will build on the success of the past five years of the programme and further develop the programme content and structure to maximise impact for participating organisations. With support from a programme co-ordinator, you will ensure the smooth delivery of the programme, including recruiting and managing a cohort of climate organisations; overseeing the budget and timeline; managing our relationships with funders, trainers and partners; and impact evaluation and reporting.

You will also oversee our role in the Diverse Voices programme, which works to amplify the voices of people and communities most impacted by climate change. The programme is run by a consortium of organisations, including Race Equality Foundation, Turn2Us and Disability Rights UK. Media Trust is the media partner, delivering communications-related training and support to the participants. 

Your line manager will be Media Trust’s Head of Charity Services and the role will sit within our charity services team. This Senior Programme Manager role does not currently have any direct line management responsibilities. 

Please note that whilst this is a remote role, the Media Trust team meets in-person in London on a monthly basis and regular travel to London for meetings and events is required. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Management of our climate programmes, including: 

• Lead our Communicating Climate programme, ensuring it is high quality, innovative and tailored to the needs and priorities of climate and environmental organisations 

• Recruit and build successive new cohorts of climate charities, user-led organisations and community groups, supporting them through the programme to ensure high levels of engagement and collaboration 

• Recruit and work with trainers and climate experts to develop engaging, practical and tailored training content, activities and resources 

• Plan and ensure the smooth delivery of all activities (including training, workshops, peer to peer networking sessions and other events), ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and lead to planned outcomes 

• Work with Media Trust’s media and creative industry partners to develop tailored training, mentoring and digital resources for the climate and environment sector 

• Manage the Advisory Group for Communicating Climate, which is comprised of leading media organisations, climate charities and sector experts, coordinating regular meetings, building relationships with members and facilitating opportunities for the Advisory Group to shape and input into the direction of the programme 

• Manage relationships with our key programme and sector partners including Climate Outreach, Heard and others, build relationships with a wide range of sector organisations

• Work with media industry partners to design and deliver activities for volunteers from leading media and creative agencies to provide pro bono strategic communications support to climate charities

• Manage the programme budget and financial reporting 

• Lead on the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the programme, ensuring impact is evidenced by high quality data and producing impact reports 

• Maintain up to date knowledge of trends and developments in the climate and strategic communications space and embed these insights into the programme content

• Remote working – while Media Trust does not have a physical office, we meet regularly in London for team collaboration and training, which requires occasional travel (typically 2–3 times per month).
