Working within our Transformation team, you'll lead high-impact projects, provide insight that drives decision-making, and partner with senior leaders to solve complex challenges. From developing business cases and strategic recommendations to analysing data and driving organisational improvement, you'll play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Trust.

This is a varied role that combines strategy, project delivery and data-led decision-making. You'll lead projects from concept to implementation, turning complex information into clear recommendations and ensuring initiatives deliver meaningful outcomes.

This role is a full time, all year-round role, mainly home-based working with travel to our head office in Birmingham and our academies as required. About you

The purpose of this role is to lead the design and delivery of learning programmes that help social entrepreneurs create lasting impact. You’ll take direct responsibility for facilitating cohorts as well as leading 1-2-1 coaching and diagnostics, and delivering Action Learning Sets, SSE’s long-standing peer-coaching method (training provided). You’ll hold accountability for the quality of programmes allocated to you. You’ll work alongside our learning facilitators and our learning and enterprise development managers to ensure every programme stays true to our action learning approach.

As SSE deepens its focus on commercial acumen and scale-up support, you’ll help make sure that direction reaches every cohort you work with — keeping your programmes as sharp, practical and impactful as everything else we do. You’ll bring your own commercial awareness to how you facilitate, and build relationships with contributors, speakers and specialists who can bring real-world commercial expertise into the room for your cohorts.

Social entrepreneurs scaling their ventures face a specific set of challenges including income generation, hiring, governance, hard calls about growth and risk, all alongside scaling their social impact. The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

Role Purpose 

As Community Support Lead: Grantmaking, you will provide the day-to-day administrative and operational support that enables HOST to deliver hosted grantmaking activities accurately, safely, and efficiently for our hosted partners. 

You will be line managed by the Community Support Manager and work closely with the Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers to deliver Hosted Grantmaking. Your primary focus will be grantmaking administration: due diligence coordination, grant agreement support, process tracking, records management, and audit-ready documentation. 

You will also provide secondary cover for general Community Support activity, including onboarding administration, payment or invoice queries, routine partner communications, and escalation. Relationship ownership and strategic funder or partner management will sit with the Community Support Manager, Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers, and relevant senior colleagues. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Hosted Grantmaking Administration and Process Tracking 

• Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date grantmaking records across ClickUp, Zendesk, CRM systems, shared folders, and relevant internal trackers. 

• Track hosted grantmaking processes from initial request through due diligence, agreement preparation, approval, disbursement, and reporting. 

• Monitor deadlines, dependencies, missing information, and next steps, following up promptly and clearly. 

• Support the Community Support Manager and Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers to maintain visibility of live grantmaking activity, bottlenecks, risks, and upcoming priorities. 

• Keep grantmaking documentation organised, complete, and accessible to Finance, Legal, Partnerships, and Community Support colleagues. 

2. Due Diligence Coordination and Documentation 

• Administer due diligence processes for hosted grantmaking activities, ensuring required checks are initiated, tracked, and documented. 

• Coordinate the collection of information and supporting documents from hosted partners, grantees, funders, or internal colleagues as directed. 

• Maintain audit-ready due diligence records, ensuring forms, evidence, approvals, and risk notes are saved in the correct systems. 

• Spot missing information, incomplete checks, or process delays and escalate promptly to the Community Support Manager, Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers, or relevant colleagues. 

3. Grant Agreement and Grant Process Support 

• Coordinate the administrative steps required to prepare, review, issue, sign, and store grant agreements and related documentation. 

• Track agreement status, including drafts, internal reviews, approvals, signatures, amendments, and filing. 

• Liaise with Legal, Finance, Partnerships, and Community Support colleagues to keep grant agreements moving through the agreed process. 

• Flag inconsistencies, missing approvals, unusual terms, or unclear documentation for review by the Community Support Manager or Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers. 

4. Payment, Disbursement and Finance Coordination Support 

• Support the administrative coordination of grant disbursements, payment requests, invoice corrections, and related finance workflows. 

• Check that payment-related documentation is complete before progressing requests to Finance. 

• Track payment and disbursement status, following up on missing information or delays where appropriate. 

• Respond to straightforward payment or invoice queries from hosted partners, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed. 

5. Community Support 

• Provide flexible cover across general Community Support activities, including onboarding administration, system guidance, routine hosted partner queries, and follow-up actions. 

• Support onboarding processes by preparing materials, updating records, tracking completion of onboarding tasks, and ensuring next steps are clear. 

• Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, ensuring relevant issues, risks, and decisions are documented and shared with appropriate colleagues. 

• Escalate relationship-sensitive, complex, or higher-risk matters to the Community Support Manager or relevant Partnerships lead. 

6. Systems, SOPs and Process Improvement 

• Support the creation, testing, and improvement of SOPs for hosted grantmaking, due diligence, grant agreements, onboarding, and payment-related workflows. 

• Identify gaps, duplication, or unclear steps in grantmaking and Community Support processes, and suggest practical improvements. 

• Keep internal checklists, templates, and guidance up to date so grantmaking processes are easier to follow and audit. 

7. Risk Identification and Escalation 

• Identify potential financial, operational, compliance, or reputational risks arising from hosted grantmaking administration or partner support activity. 

• Escalate risks promptly to the Community Support Manager, Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers, Legal, Finance or Partnerships colleagues as appropriate. 

• Maintain clear records of risks, decisions, approvals, and follow-up actions.

• Experience in administration, operations, grants administration, programme support, community support, or client service. 

• Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and confidence managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and trackers. 

• A process-minded approach, with the ability to follow agreed steps carefully and spot where information, approvals, or documentation are missing. 

• Clear written communication skills, with the ability to provide warm, accurate, and practical updates to partners and colleagues.

SOS UK is looking for a Project Manager to deliver our engagement work with a focus on our Climate Action Fund programme – Student Energy Action for Life (SEAL).

Role details

Location: Home working in (or close to) London, Midlands or Manchester

Working patterns: 1 FTE (35 hours per week) with typical working times between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. The role includes weekly travel with early starts and late returns, and approx. 6 overnight stays a year. 

Salary: Starting salary £32,289 per annum, rising to £36,843, plus London Weighting of up to £3,655 pro rata where applicable. We also provide up to a 6% pension contribution and life assurance.

Contract: Fixed term until December 2029

This role will be primarily focusing on our Climate Action Fund programme – Student Energy Action for Life (SEAL), with opportunity to contribute towards our wider engagement programmes. SEAL has a twofold vision; to support students navigating the home energy system and to improve access to student energy efficient properties via landlord engagement and student campaigning. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Engage, maintain and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders particularly landlords and students' unions, as well as students, volunteers, universities, local authorities, and other key organisations. 
• Support landlords, student letting agencies and students’ unions to improve the energy efficiency of student accommodation, focusing on implementing energy efficiency initiatives, advice and support.
• Plan, design, and deliver engaging training sessions to a variety of audiences.
• Provide support for students’ union officers and other student campaigners working on housing energy efficiency campaigns, including the design and implementation of a national student home energy campaign.
• Support with the creation and management of sector wide student energy efficiency advisory groups including a home energy efficiency network, student advisory group and stakeholder advisory group.

We're looking for a highly organised Team Administrator to keep The Talent Tap running smoothly and provide administrative support across all aspects of our small team including finance, programme logistics, marketing and fundraising support. Team administration

• Organise and coordinate team meetings, including scheduling and agendas

Salary and pension: We are offering an FTE salary for the role of £28,000 FTE, pro-rated to 21 hours a week (our working week is 35 hours).

Hours of work: As a remote and largely part-time team, we offer a great deal of flexibility. We’re ideally looking for someone who can work 21 hours/week spread over three or more days of the week. Overall job purpose

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

You'll line-manage three colleagues, helping them succeed in their roles while creating a joined-up approach to planning, delivery and stewardship across the portfolio.

Alongside overseeing one of Lily's largest fundraising income streams, you'll also play an important role in developing our Individual Giving, Regular Giving and legacy fundraising activity, helping turn these emerging programmes into strong and sustainable sources of future income. Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and ongoing development of Lily's public fundraising programme, ensuring community fundraising, sports events, special events and individual giving activity work together to maximise income and supporter engagement.
• Line-manage, support and develop the two Events Managers and the Community & Individual Giving Officer, providing clear direction, regular feedback and development opportunities, and carrying out formal performance reviews
• Work closely with the Head of Fundraising to translate Lily's fundraising strategy into practical annual plans, priorities and targets for the public fundraising portfolio.
• Oversee the performance of the public fundraising programme, monitoring income, expenditure and KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities, and taking action where required.
• Support the continued development of Lily's Individual Giving, Regular Giving and Legacy fundraising programmes, helping to test new ideas, improve supporter journeys and build long-term sustainable income.
• Ensure supporters receive an excellent experience across all public fundraising activity, developing joined-up stewardship journeys that encourage long-term support.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing colleagues to develop engaging fundraising campaigns, products and communications that inspire supporters to get involved.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement across the team, using insight, evaluation and supporter feedback to inform future activity.
• Ensure accurate use of the CRM system (Donorfy), promoting good data management and using reporting and insight to support decision-making.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Fundraising and COO, highlighting progress, opportunities, risks and recommendations.
• Work collaboratively across fundraising, marketing and operations to ensure public fundraising activity is well planned, well supported and aligned with organisational priorities.

This year marks 10 years since Makan was established as an independent organisation providing transformative education to strengthen the movement for Palestinian liberation. It is a pivotal moment for a new Director to lead the organisation, as Palestinians continue to face the ongoing genocide, dispossession, and unprecedented repression. The need for transformative education on Palestine has never been greater.

At Makan, we have seen this reflected in the extraordinary growth of our programmes. Over the last three years, demand for our educational workshops has risen by 300% and in 2025 alone we worked with over 3,500 people across the globe – with artists, trade unions, students, educators, journalists, community organisers, and human rights networks, people whose voices shape public understanding of Palestine. Through our trainings, educational resources, and long term partnerships, we help people deepen their understanding of how settler colonialism, apartheid and displacement shapes the lives of Palestinians, and how these forces connect to broader global struggles for freedom and justice.

We are looking for an experienced Director/Co-directors to drive the organisation forward at this critical moment for our work. You’ll provide leadership and direction in delivering Makan’s strategic vision and objectives, furthering the charity’s programmes and communications; and overseeing its organisational growth and development, in line with its values and ethos.

You will be responsible for the overall impact, performance and collaborative culture of Makan; confident in representing the charity to a variety of stakeholders, including partners, media, major donors and other supporters; and able to provide effective support to the Board to ensure the organisation has the infrastructure, governance and resources in place to secure long term sustainable funding, develop the resilience of the charity, and deliver high-quality, impactful educational programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outreach, Wheelchair Skills and Wider Engagement

· Engage the widest possible range of people with spinal cord injury to sign up for further contact with Back Up, through organising and/or delivering wheelchair skills training sessions and talks for patients and families at the spinal cord injury centre in the region, general hospitals and with other key partners or locations as identified.

· Coordinate, support and manage volunteer trainers who are helping to deliver sessions and talking to patients and families.

· Lead, sustain and develop strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of health professionals and other charity representatives e.g. through presentations, calls and meetings, to ensure that people access seamless support.

Proactive Contact with People Affected by Spinal Cord Injury

· Maintain and support relationships with a large number of people affected by SCI (adults, children and young people and their parents) through regular proactive contact. This could be in person in the spinal cord injury centre, other settings or through events, telephone contact or other interactions.

· Explore their feelings, wishes and needs and provide tailored peer support to help them feel supported, access relevant services from Back Up and elsewhere through proactive referrals, and become more aware of the possibilities of life after SCI.

Networking, Partnerships and Sustainability

· Develop and maintain a map of touchpoints in the region, where people with an SCI will come into contact.

· Develop partnerships, referral routes and signposting processes to develop reach beyond the spinal cord injury centre.

· Develop and manage a network of community ambassador volunteers to support the wider work and sustainability of Back Up through fundraising and other related activities.

· Take a lead on encouraging localised fundraising activity; working towards wider income targets that support ongoing sustainability.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintaining accurate records on the database.

· Work as a team, consulting with others to ensure you give and receive high quality support.

· Keep Back Up informed of the issues affecting the people you are supporting and of developments at the spinal cord injury centre, general hospitals and other settings.

· Input into team planning and activities.

· Manage the budget relating to activities in your region.

· Help recruit new volunteers as needed to ensure a diverse team representing Back Up.

· Other duties as required by the Regional Outreach & Engagement Team Leader.

We lead on Match Trading™, a grant that challenges leaders to grow their trading income, and we are working on further grants innovations.

You will work with our Grants Team, Project Co-ordinators and Assessment Lead to develop and support grant management across a range of programmes. Your role will be to lead on specific programmes, including supporting assessment, onboarding and grant management. You will ensure that grantees are fully supported to manage their grants and ensure that grant management is compliant, auditable, efficient, and timely. You will support the development of grant policies and processes, writing grant paperwork and documentation, overseeing payments, and reporting to the wider Programmes Team and others about our work.

You don’t need to have managed grants before, but you do need to have a good understanding of a wide range enterprises and charities, gained through experience of training, business consultancy or development support. You will have a good understanding of business models, legal structures and financial systems that social and environmental organisations and community run and owned businesses may use. You will need to understand social enterprise finances, be able to read accounts, budgets, cashflows and have a good knowledge of social enterprise income streams.

We need someone who understands how hard it is to start up and grow social and environmental enterprises and can support people from diverse backgrounds in managing their grant, finances and growing their business.
