Experience in one or more of the following areas is required for this role: oncology, cancer care, urology, gynaecology, adolescent and young adult services, community nursing, or a related healthcare setting. Please provide evidence of your relevant experience in your covering letter and/or CV.

The knowledge, compassion and communication skills developed through supporting patients and families affected by cancer are directly transferable to this role.

About the role

This is a newly redesigned role created following a review of Robin Cancer Trust's support services. 

The Community & Support Lead will play a key role in ensuring that people affected by testicular and ovarian germ cell cancers can access compassionate support, trusted information, meaningful connections and opportunities to shape our future work. 

We particularly welcome applications from nurses and other healthcare professionals who may be looking for a career change, greater flexibility, or an opportunity to use their skills in a non-clinical setting. Whilst this is not a clinical position and does not involve providing medical advice, your understanding of the patient experience, treatment pathways and the emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis would help us deliver high-quality, person-centred support to our community.

Job Purpose: 

The Community & Support Lead will act as the primary point of contact for Robin Cancer Trust's support services and community activity.

The role will lead the development and delivery of our support offer, including patient enquiries, community engagement, signposting, Thriver Packs, WhatsApp communities, lived experience involvement and service development. 

The role will work closely with the CEO, Head of Operations, Medical Advisory Board and Clinical Advisor to ensure our support services remain compassionate, effective, safe and impactful.

• Lead and develop the Thriver Community. 
• Manage and moderate Robin Cancer Trust's WhatsApp communities.

• Recruit, engage and support community volunteers. 

Service Development 

• Identify gaps, opportunities and emerging community needs. 
• Support the development of new support services and wellbeing initiatives. 
• Build relationships with charities, healthcare professionals and support organisations. 
• Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of services. 

Governance & Administration 

• Coordinate Medical Advisory Board meetings and actions.

About the Role

The Head of Community Services is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational, and clinical delivery of Nottinghamshire Hospice’s community-based services. You will ensure the provision of high-quality, safe, and compassionate palliative and end-of-life care, supporting people to live as well as possible in the place they call home.

As a key member of the Hospice Leadership Team, you will provide visible and inspiring leadership, driving excellence in care delivery, service performance, and workforce development. You will lead and develop our Hospice in Your Home (24-hour service) and Wellbeing Day Services, ensuring they are responsive, sustainable, and patient-centred. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll provide clinical leadership, support transitions, mentor staff, and ensure person-centred care planning.

• Deliver and oversee clinical care for service users
• Complete robust clinical assessments and attend key meetings (CPA reviews, Section 117, referrals)

About the role

Cardiomyopathy UK's Director of Research and External Affairs leads the charity's research, policy and advocacy, and communications and marketing functions, with a team of four staff. The post-holder sets the strategic direction of the directorate, drives high-quality delivery,  upholds the charity's values, and represents the charity externally. The Director is a member of the charity's Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO to steer the charity forward. 

For the right person, this is an opportunity with real strategic scope. We want to build on our strong policy positions and evidence base and translate them into more proactive campaigning and influencing, moving from good policy thinking to concerted public affairs activity, strategic stakeholder engagement, and campaigns that achieve real change. 

The Director will also lead the next phase of our research work, following our inaugural research grant-funding activity and James Lind Alliance top ten work. They will work with the Research Manager and our clinical and academic partners to better define and deliver our ambitions.

Raising awareness of cardiomyopathy, its signs, symptoms and genetic risk, is also within the team's scope. Too many people are still diagnosed late because neither they nor their GP knew what to look for. The Director will drive our communications and marketing agenda purposefully, equally ensuring the charity’s external profile is actively managed and enhanced.

They will have strong strategic, analytical and planning skills, with the ability to develop coherent strategies. About This Job

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.

In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. You will oversee incident reporting and trend analysis to support continuous improvement. This will include developing systems and reporting frameworks to provide a clear understanding of the organisation’s medical risk profile and supporting the volunteer team delivering advanced skills training to highly qualified first aiders.

· Have a sound understanding of the role of medical support in the Army Cadets

· Hold an accredited assessing qualification

We are looking for an exceptional & collaborative individual fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team at King’s College London, leading on fundraising for the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). You will benefit from a strong donor portfolio, opportunities to work on 7- and 8-figure gifts, and a good understanding of philanthropy from senior leadership within the Institute.

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, securing and stewarding significant philanthropic gifts at the £50k to £5 million gift level, supporting senior stakeholders with their fundraising efforts, and championing the work and priorities of King’s and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.

The team will play a crucial role in the delivery of the University’s ambition to significantly scale philanthropic income for faculties, as we prepare to launch our next major fundraising campaign in 2027 and mark the university’s bicentenary in 2029.
