The Training & Events Officer is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support for training programmes and events at the bpf. The role encompasses coordinating the entire trainee journey—from application and onboarding to evaluations and reporting—ensuring efficient, compliant, and learner-focused processes. Duties include coordinating with managers and staff, handling programme administration, applicant and trainee communications, maintaining records, overseeing selection, and supporting event delivery. Some evening and weekend work will be required, with time off in lieu provided.

About You
The Events Administration Assistant is responsible for supporting the Events Operations Manager with ensuring the accurate management of registrations, financial processes, documentation and stakeholder communications providing successful operational delivery of the Society’s full programme of events and will play a key role in maintaining high service standards for delegates, speakers and partners while supporting the smooth delivery of conferences and meetings.
The postholder will maintain and update event databases, including processing registrations, amendments and cancellations, process events payments, and provide administrative coordination for these events, including registration management, speaker communications, documentation and logistics tracking.
The successful candidate will have experience in a customer facing role with excellent communication and organisational skills and have excellent attention to detail.

About The Role

Main Purpose of the Role
This new role aims to support the design, coordination and delivery of Action Duchenne’s events portfolio, including the Annual Community Summit, regional meetups, workshops, and online events. The role will ensure smooth operational delivery, high‑ quality participant experiences, accessible information, and effective logistics‑ and supplier coordination.
This role contributes directly to our organisational impact by ensuring families, young people, professionals and partners have access to engaging, supportive and well managed events. Specific Tasks
1. Event Coordination and Logistics

Support the planning and delivery of the Annual Community Summit, working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Fundraising and Communications, and wider team.

Coordinate logistics for in‑person and online events, including venue liaison, catering, accessibility arrangements, equipment, travel, accommodation and schedules.

Ensure event details are accurately published and updated across relevant platforms (website, CRM, communications channels).

Manage registration processes for all events and ensure attendees receive timely, accurate joining information.

Support the organisation of regional meet‑ups and workshops, ensuring venues, facilitators and resources are in place.
2. Administration and Operational Delivery

As an Email Marketing Officer, you will shape how thousands of people connect with vital information, fundraising appeals and services through timely, accessible and relevant email communications. This is a practical, hands-on role for an Email Marketing Officer who enjoys collaboration, testing ideas and improving results through insight and learning.
You will join the Motor Neurone Disease Association, supporting people with motor neurone disease (MND) through effective digital engagement. As part of the Digital Engagement team, the Email Marketing Officer will help ensure email remains a trusted, engaging and consistent channel across the MND Association.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver targeted email campaigns with teams across the MND Association
- Manage day-to-day use of the email marketing platform, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Write, design and build emails that follow brand, tone of voice and best practice
- Support automated email journeys and stewardship communications
- Work with data colleagues to use audience data responsibly and in line with GDPR
- Analyse performance and produce clear reports with practical recommendations
- Test subject lines, content and send times to improve engagement
- Ensure all emails meet accessibility standards and work well across devices
About You
- Experience planning and delivering email marketing campaigns using an email service provider
- Strong knowledge of email marketing principles including segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability and GDPR
- Clear digital copywriting and editing skills with good attention to detail
- Confidence using data to evaluate performance and improve outcomes
- Understanding of digital accessibility in email content and design
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities
- Experience using design tools or working closely with designers
- Awareness of current email marketing trends and platform developments
Hybrid working expectations: office attendance one day per week

About the role:
As our Junior Content Producer, you’ll support the Content Team to deliver Drinkaware’s multimedia content strategy. Working closely with colleagues across Content, Marketing, Ops and Programmes, Partnerships and Research, you’ll play a key role in creating, coordinating and delivering engaging content across digital and offline channels.
From managing content workflows to producing engaging social content, your work will help ensure our audiences can make informed choices about alcohol.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating and supporting the delivery of digital and printed content across channels.
• Planning, self-shooting and editing high-quality video content for social media.
• Supporting the delivery of social media plans, across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Coordinating content requests to ensure tasks are assigned, tracked and delivered on time.
• Building and nurturing online communities through proactive community management and audience engagement.

The Architectural Support Officer plays a central role in this work. You will support the day-to-day operation of the Trust’s consent process, helping applicants and their advisers with applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring decisions are communicated clearly, professionally and with authority.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Architectural and technical support
- Support the architectural team in reviewing applications, including preparing summaries and assisting with research and policy.
- Maintain a strong working understanding of the Trust’s Design Guidance and relevant policies.
- Assist applicants in understanding how proposals align with the Trust’s requirements while being clear about the Trust’s role and the limits of advice that can be provided.
- Attend occasional site visits with colleagues to view properties and proposals.
- There will be opportunities to contribute to talks and events, depending on interests and experience.
Application and consent process
- Manage the administration of applications for Trust consent, ensuring they are registered, validated and processed efficiently.
- Act as a first point of contact for applicants and their advisers, providing clear guidance on process and requirements.
- Calculate and process application fees; raise invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Notify neighbours and manage consultation processes in line with Trust procedures.
- Prepare and issue decision letters and consent documentation.
- Track applications through each stage of the process, ensuring deadlines and actions are monitored and progressed.
Committee and governance support
- Prepare and circulate papers for Plans Committee and Trust Council.
- Take clear and accurate minutes and support follow-up actions.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations.
Records and systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of applications, decisions and property information.
- Support ongoing improvements to record-keeping, processes and digital systems.
- Ensure documentation is well organised, accessible and compliant with Trust requirements.
Team and office contribution
- Respond to general enquiries from residents by phone, email and in person.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the Trust office.
