The role
As Director of Operations, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the CEO and Board to translate strategy into high-quality, sustainable delivery with exciting future developments ahead.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across 7 care homes and 3 housing communities in the south of England, leading and supporting a talented operations team to deliver safe, effective and person-centred services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing visible leadership that embeds Keychange’s Christian vision, values and culture across all services
- Leading and overseeing multi-site operations, ensuring consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and support
- Holding accountability for regulatory compliance, quality assurance and service improvement

- Ensuring services are financially sustainable, working closely with finance colleagues on budgets and resources

About you
We are looking for a values-led, strategic and credible leader who brings:
- Senior leadership experience within social care, housing, homelessness or a closely related sector
- A proven track record of leading multi-site services and managing senior operational leaders
- Strong experience of working within regulated environments and delivering high-quality, compliant services
- Sound financial and commercial awareness, with experience of managing budgets and resources of a similar scale to Keychange (250 staff across 10 sites)
- A passion for developing people, culture and values-driven practice

About The Job:
This is a vital role in delivering our fundraising strategy and goals. The role holder will be responsible for raising income from individuals and legacies and increasing the volume and value of our supporter relationships, engaging new audiences and driving sustainable income growth. We will also trust the role holder to deliver fantastic supporter journeys and supporter experiences and contribute to the overall implementation of the Fundraising Team’s objectives.
Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Income Generation
· Lead on raising income to an agreed target, through acquisition, development and retention of individuals and legacy pledgers, as agreed with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Strategy
· Work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to build and deliver a highly effective, sustainable, audience-centred public fundraising and supporter experience plan.
· Engage in market and supporter insight to inform decision-making and development of new activity/products.
· Develop a good understanding of our supporter base, their motivations and behaviours. Use our CRM database (Raisers’ Edge NXT) and data analysis and insights to inform the development of new fundraising campaigns and products.
· Take the lead role in the development of effective supporter journeys, working with the Community Fundraising Team to convert community fundraisers and events participants into regular donors.
· Lead the design and delivery of individual giving campaigns (including the Christmas campaign), using direct mail, digital marketing and advertisements to drive supporter acquisition and retention.
· Develop and design our legacy programme, working with Farewill and local law firms to encourage supporters to include Homeless Oxfordshire in their will.
· Work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to develop and deliver a mid-level giving programme, driving the major donor pipeline and effectively stewarding donors giving at the £300-£1,000 level.
Operational Delivery
· Be responsible for the setting and managing of budgets, targets and KPIs. Report on progress, trends and take action when required. Analyse results and evaluate activity to inform future plans.
· Act as the lead-user for Raisers’ Edge, supervise the Data Administrator to ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation, and support the team with reporting and data analysis.
· Work collaboratively to ensure that all income generation activity is integrated and opportunities for cross-team working are maximised.
· Develop processes that enhance the team’s capacity, efficiency, and ensure effective fundraising.
· Manage external partners and agencies involved in fundraising delivery, ensuring due diligence, high quality and effectiveness.
· Ensure the highest standard of supporter experience in order to make the most of every interaction.
· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all areas of the public fundraising portfolio, including the Fundraising Code of Practice, Data Protection and Gift Aid. Model best practice and coach team member as required.
Leadership
· Line manage the Data Administrator, supporting them on reconciliation, data entry and gift processing.
· Provide management information for SMT and the Board of Trustees as requested and attending meetings when required.
· Build positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
· Represent the charity at external meetings as and when required.
· Engage with the wider charity sector, learning from peers and sharing best practice.
General Duties:
· Compliance with Homeless Oxfordshire’s policies and procedures.

In this role, you’ll be safeguarding wellbeing, encouraging positive relationships, and supporting each resident’s journey towards independence, all while ensuring the safety, calm, and security of our service overnight.
What We’re Looking For

About the Role
The Events & Community Fundraising Manager is an integral part of our ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications team.
This postholder will deliver The Connection at St Martin’s Events and Community Fundraising activity. About the role
As a SHPS Housing Coach you will be working with individuals to prevent or relieve homelessness by sourcing affordable, suitable and sustainable private rented sector accommodation. This role requires skilled delivery of a range of interventions and a passion for working with those who face multiple disadvantages in society. - Supporting people to prevent and relieve homelessness (through assessments, housing people, negotiating with landlords, advice and support to sustain tenancies)
- Demonstrating a pro-active and solution-focused approach to supporting individuals overcome barriers they are facing around housing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and results focused environment.

- Actively contribute to sourcing suitable and affordable accommodation

Summary Of The Role

As a Night Young People Support Worker at our service in Durham, you’ll empower residents in supported accommodation to develop key life skills, strengthen resilience, and move forward with confidence in education, training, employment, and wellbeing. Using an assets‑based, psychologically informed approach, you’ll create SMART support plans, complete risk and needs assessments, and ensure every young person receives personalised, meaningful support.
As part of the night team, you’ll carry out essential safety checks, respond to incidents, safeguard vulnerable clients and help new residents settle into the service. The Volunteer & Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers at Catching Lives. About the role
The Passage has secured funding to deliver a 1-year pilot, exploring how the use of peer support can prevent further homelessness and increase social mobility, by giving people the support and confidence to get reintegrated into the community.
This pilot will involve the recruitment and training of 10 lived experience volunteers who will share their insights and provide support to people recently re-housed to set and achieve goals with a focus on community re-integration. The pilot will offer a range of interventions including 1:1 support, community events and online training.
The Passage recognizes that someone’s journey of homelessness doesn’t just end when accommodation is secured. What is often a confidence-stripping and traumatizing experience can take time to recover from. The first steps can be the most challenging for individuals to put down new roots and get back to where they were before that period.
As The Lived Experience Specialist Project Worker, you will support your manager in the design, delivery, monitoring and reporting of the pilot; with a particular focus on supporting the volunteers in their roles.
The Passage believes that peer support and the sharing of lived experience are essential tools in supporting people to take steps toward becoming more active, involved and connected. We also know that delivering peer support and helping others are also crucial cornerstones in processing living experience into lived experience.
Main duties
- To support the recruitment and retention of lived-experience volunteers.
- Have oversight of the day-to-day delivery of volunteers work by providing guidance & direction and ensuring volunteer support is delivered in a safe and supportive manner.

We are currently looking for inspirational people to join the Somewhere Safe to Stay Service (SSTS) team as Assessment and Reconnection Workers where no day is the same. You will work as part of a busy, dedicated team while developing the necessary skills to:
- Provide direct support to people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping; working closely with individuals on assessment action plans which fully involves them in their recovery. To do this you will build positive working relationships with a range of services and individuals across Oxford.
- Work on the weekly shift rota including shifts from Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, and some weekends and bank holidays where required.
