Project Officer

Monday-Friday -varied hours (35 hours per week)

£31,850 per annum, 3% employer pension contribution

36 days annual leave (includes Bank Holidays)

The South Mitcham Community Association (SMCA) is looking for an exceptional Project Officer to join our small team.

We are looking for someone with a range of skills, experience and passion for real hands-on community work.

As Project Officer, you will have experience of all things project – planning, delivery, budgets, staffing, monitoring and evaluating.   You will be more hands on with some projects than others and will have an oversight of all our activities.

Experience of outrach and community engagement work is required as is working with partners/networking.

Good communication and staff management skills will be essential in the role, as is a commitment to equality and diversity.

Knowledge of marketing and social media platforms would be useful - helping to promote and build the profile of our projects/Community Hub.

You will need a friendly and approachable manner as you interact with beneficiaries, volunteers, partners and the public.
