About us

Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support provides immigration advice and practical support to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants across North East London and Essex. We are a small charity committed to ensuring that people can access high quality advice, support and advocacy regardless of their circumstances.

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Immigration Caseworker to join our growing service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small and supportive organisation delivering high-quality immigration advice and casework to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.

The role is primarily home-based, with attendance required at outreach locations, meetings and occasional events. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, provide immigration advice within their accreditation level and contribute to the development of the charity's advice service.

Applicants

Applicants must hold IAA Level 1 or Level 2 accreditation (or IAAS equivalent). Candidates holding Level 1 accreditation will be expected to work towards Level 2 accreditation within an agreed timeframe. Appropriate supervision, training and study leave will be provided to support progression. Salary progression will be linked to the achievement of higher accreditation levels in accordance with the charity's pay structure.
