Main Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Operations

• Manage day‑to‑day office operations to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and well‑organised working environment.

• Oversee office supplies, equipment, stationery orders, and relationships with vendors.

• Maintain digital and physical filing systems, ensuring documents are stored securely and are easy to locate.

• Support onboarding and practical arrangements for new staff, volunteers, and interns.

• Point of contact and responsible for maintaining the ICC UK Storage Facility. (Currently situated in Newcastle upon Tyne)

Executive & Team Support

• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and wider leadership team, including diary coordination, travel booking, meeting preparation, and expense processing.

• Assist in preparing board papers, agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions for ICC UK Board and sub‑committee meetings.

• Support internal communication by ensuring timely circulation of updates, documents, and scheduled reminders.

Finance & Compliance Support

• Assist with routine finance administration, including invoice processing, receipts collation, card reconciliation, and liaising with the ICC UK finance team as needed.

• Maintain accurate records for compliance, audits, safeguarding training, and policy renewals.

• Support contract and lease administration (e.g., office lease, supplier agreements, insurance renewals).

Event & Travel Coordination

• Coordinate logistics for UK events, training days, team gatherings, and visits from international colleagues.

• Manage bookings, venue arrangements, hospitality, travel itineraries, and attendee communications.

• Support international travel preparation, including documentation, itinerary organisation, and expense tracking.

Communications & Public-Facing Support

• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for enquiries via email, phone, and the ICC UK office address.

• Assist with maintaining contact databases and ensuring GDPR‑compliant data handling.

Systems & Organisation

• Maintain shared calendars, organisational systems, and internal workflows to ensure alignment across the team.

• Help ensure consistency of templates, branding, and standard documents across ICC UK.

General Duties

• Uphold ICC’s mission, values, and commitment to hospitality, clarity, and servant‑hearted support.

• Undertake other reasonable administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of ICC UK and its partnership with ICC International.

The Fundraiser - Corporate & Events will play a pivotal role in enabing Deafblind UK to achieve its goals - helping us to reach more supporters, inspire long-term giving, and raise vital funds through corporate partnerships and charity-led fundraising events. Reporting to the Fundraising Development Manager, the Fundraiser - Corporate and Events will be responsible for growing our existing supporter base and driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate fundraising activities and charity-led fundraising events. As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.

You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. Person specification

It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Humanists International is the global representative body of the humanist movement, uniting a diverse range of non-religious individuals and organizations committed to reason, compassion, and human rights. We work to build and strengthen the humanist movement worldwide, advocate for secularism and human rights, and promote humanist values in public life and at international institutions.

Humanists International’s advocacy programme promotes human rights priorities based on humanist values at the global level and represents a core role and function of organization. We do this by: advocating directly at the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, New York, and Paris, advocating at regional institutions, including the European Union, Council of Europe, European Court of Human Rights, and African Commission for Human and People’s Rights; supporting and training our members to engage with, and advocate at, relevant regional human rights bodies. 

This work relies on having an advocacy team that can; (1) communicate and lobby in a clear, focused, and convincing manner, informed by high-quality and professional research; (2) can understand the dynamic international landscape on core human rights priorities and produce documentation and briefings on the organization's position; and (3) train and work with members to support their human rights advocacy at the regional and international level. The Advocacy and Research Officer will be instrumental in contributing to these areas.

Duties:

1. Advocate on behalf of Humanists International, by:
1.1. Drafting written and oral statements and submissions for the UN Human Rights Council;
1.2. Analyzing and summarizing complex legal / policy documents, such as International Conventions or UN reports, or jurisprudence at international courts and tribunals;
1.3. Undertaking research tasks and producing pieces of comprehensive legal research, and providing briefing or meeting notes for the Senior Advocacy Officer;
1.4. Representing and speaking on behalf of Humanists International at meetings of different sizes, including at the UN Human Rights Council;
1.5. Preparing and delivering presentations (often with the use of powerpoint);
1.6. Working with other civil society actors to lobby on common causes and mobilize on issues of concern;
1.7. Writing news stories for the website and contributing to the media output of the organization;
1.8. Undertaking administrative tasks to support the Senior Advocacy Officer in their work.

2. Supporting Humanists International's members in advocacy, by:
2.1. Developing and implementing trainings sessions for members and associates, including our annual UPR training, and others which leverage the expertise of the Advocacy and Research Officer;
2.2. Liaising with Humanists International members to enable and support them to make statements at the UN Human Rights Council, including with technical assistance;
2.3. Providing advocacy updates and briefings for Members and Associates;

Essential Criteria:

• Excellent understanding of, interest in, and demonstrable commitment to human rights and equality issues - particularly in the areas of freedom of religion or belief, gender equality and non-discrimination, reproductive and sexual rights, LGBTI+ rights, populism, democracy, and secularism. 
• Good knowledge and background in international human rights law, international law, or global justice. 
• Experience in the area of advocacy and/or of advocacy-related training. 
• Familiarity (academic and/or practical) with the international human rights systems, particularly the United Nations and any regional human rights bodies. 
• Good research, analytical and writing skills, and an excellent command of English.
• Well-organized, efficient and able to work independently. 
• A clear and convincing communicator. 

Desirable:

• Excellent understanding of, and sympathy with, the philosophy and policies of Humanists International.

About You

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be a confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging with supporters and stakeholders at all levels. You will have a solid knowledge of philanthropic giving and a deep appreciation of the value of high-quality donor stewardship. Highly organised and detail-focused, you will enjoy working with data and be skilled at producing compelling content both on and offline. You will bring initiative, creativity and the ability to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player.

The Philanthropy Manager is a new donor-facing role, which will focus on expanding and strengthening a major donor portfolio to increase five and six figure income from individual donors and family trusts for Art UK. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. Working within an ambitious team, you will have the support of a freelance Prospect Researcher to identify new prospects, and the Development Manager and CRM Officer to develop donor journeys and relationship management systems. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain a robust prospect pipeline through identification, research, cultivation and relationship-building to secure five-figure gifts and long-term support

- Manage a portfolio of mid-level individual donors, converting one-off supporters into deeper donor relationships

- Manage and grow Art UK’s mid-level regular giving programme, strengthening donor relationships through face-to face meetings, events and personalised communication

- Develop donor development strategies, using CRM to analysis and identify higher gift prospects from existing donor pool and maximise giving potential

- Lead on major gifts for annual Big Give campaigns, identifying and securing keystone pledge donors, and leveraging networks to reach giving targets

- Create and implement, effectively and in a timely manner, development plans for each donor to retain and upgrade donors and document all activities in CRM Beacon

- Prepare and personalise correspondence and fundraising materials, including donor stewardship and reports, funding proposals and acknowledgement letters as appropriate

- Work closely with the Marketing team and other colleagues to showcase Art UK’s work and enhance donor engagement

- Organise and deliver events for major donors and prospects (with support from the Development team), including attending events where appropriate

- Support management of the American Friends of Art UK (launching 2026), including donor stewarding and events programming

- Support senior leadership and board members in the preparation and delivery of high-quality donor pitches to secure new philanthropic gifts

- Monitor progress against targets and maintain accurate reporting, including updates to Art UK’s Board of Trustees and the Philanthropy Board

- Ensure pledges and donations are processed efficiently and that donors are thanked promptly and personally

- Work closely with all members of the Development team to ensure prospecting and cultivation activity is aligned and complementary

The role

As Legal Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting Foxglove’s lawyers and the external law firms with whom we partner, providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support across all strands of our work including complex and high profile human rights and environmental cases.
