Role Overview: 

The HR Lead will be responsible for embedding a consistent, robust, and proactive compliance culture across the HR team. This will ensure all HR practices, policies, and processes meet legal, regulatory, and internal governance standards, while also being practical, scalable, and aligned with business objectives whilst also providing hands-on support to the wider HR function on complex employee relations matters, organisation change, and operational HR activities.

Key Objectives/Responsibilities 

Strengthen HR Compliance Framework:

• Review and assess current HR policies, procedures, and practices against legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and implement an updated HR compliance framework.

HR Capability & Advisory Support:

• Act as a trusted advisor to HR colleagues and managers, providing practical, risk-based guidance that balances legal compliance with business needs.
• Build HR capability by upskilling colleagues on key compliance areas, including employment law, data protection, safeguarding, and right to work.
• Develop and share practical guidance, toolkits, and decision-making frameworks to support consistent and compliant HR practice.

Enhance Risk Management and Audit Readiness:

• Establish clear audit trails and documentation standards.
• Develop internal compliance monitoring mechanisms (e.g. audits, checklists, dashboards).
• Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

Strengthen Employee Relations Compliance:

• Ensure consistent and compliant handling of disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
• Reduce risk of legal challenge through improved processes and documentation.

Systems and Data:

• Use HR systems to support compliance tracking (e.g. mandatory training, right to work, certifications).
• Improve reporting on compliance metrics and risks by creating HR dashboards to report to service leads through to board.

Trent Bridge Community Trust is seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead on an impact-led approach to using the power of sports officiating to make a meaningful difference in communities across the county.

This role offers an exciting and unique opportunity to shape a new direction for officiating, with a strong focus on using umpiring and scoring as vehicles to improve physical and mental well-being, build confidence and reduce loneliness, particularly in non-cricketing communities.

You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver development opportunities, such as mentoring programmes and engagement initiatives, while growing and supporting strong networks that help officials feel connected and valued.

You will oversee the Officiating Administrator, who will manage systems and administration, allowing you to focus on leading engagement, development and impact with the autonomy to influence the programme’s development. You will also work closely with the Nottinghamshire Officials Advisory Group, chairing their sessions and working with volunteers to increase the group’s impact.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident in engaging with a wide range of people and communities, with a strong ability to communicate effectively across different environments. You will be committed to working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and understand the value of social impact in sport, particularly in supporting well-being, confidence and connection. The role will focus on engagement, development and impact, working alongside an Officiating Advisory Group Administrator who will support delivery through systems, logistics and appointments.

• Develop and promote officiating opportunities to a wide and diverse audience.
• Support the promotion of ECB umpire and scoring courses, working alongside the Officiating Administrator.

1- Purpose: 

The Talent Acquisition and People Development Specialist is responsible for managing, improving and providing direction on Right To Play’s global recruitment, selection, and people development processes and initiatives to ultimately help build our reputation as an employer of choice for talented individuals pursuing careers with purpose.

2- Accountability & Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy Lead - 35 %

• Advise on candidate assessments, interview strategies and other steps in the recruitment process to ensure candidates skills and experience are fully assessed and internal candidates are given opportunities for professional advancement.
• Lead the enhancement of recruitment strategies to meet unit and organizational goals. 
• Responsible directly for full-cycle recruitment in HQs, Indigenous Programs, National Offices and selected roles in Country Offices as required.
• Provide guidance and support to the Global People & Culture (P&C) and the Global Leadership Team (GLT) team to tailor best practice to local context, maintaining consistency, transparency and safeguarded recruitment processes: define selection criteria, develop hiring profiles, source top talent through diverse channels. 

Talent Acquisition and Employer brand- 20% 

• Design and manage global talent acquisition strategy including recruitment and selection processes, sourcing strategies
• Serve as the primary administrator for Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and drive enhancements to system functionality and user experience.
• Develop innovative strategies to enhance employer branding in collaboration with key stakeholders such as Marketing & Communications, P&C Global Collogues and Unit Leads. 
• Forecast future recruitment demands, gather- data, conduct- analysis and provide- reports to Leadership and the Board on talent acquisition initiatives and key metrics. 
• Collaborate with internal departments to align recruitment needs with strategic planning and support the execution of Right To Play’s the Strategic Workforce Planning.

Onboarding -10%

• Oversee RTP onboarding process across multiple locations and manages onboarding for HQs ensuring a consistent and positive experience for all new hires. 
• Collaborate with local teams to align onboarding practices with organizational standards, including mandatory training and policy acknowledgement while adapting to regional needs, to create a seamless and engaging experience for new employees.

Learning and Development –35%

• Coordinate the development and implementation of RTP Annual Learning and Development Agenda in collaboration with P&C Team, functions leads and external providers.
• Support people managers in determining training needs of their teams for HQs, IP and NOs;
• Serve as the primary administrator for Learning Management System (LMS), optimize system functionality and user experience; and support departmental leads update their material and fully utilize this tool.
• Coordinate the global training activities offered to all staff including the learning week
• Coordinate talent mapping for the SMT and Specialist roles at CO level working closely with the CDs & ET.

Perform other duties as assigned

3- Scope (geographical and/or functional), Impact and Autonomy

Leads on attraction, recruitment and L&D across RTP. Provides direct recruitment support to HQs and NOs. Provides support and guidance to Global P&C staff on recruitment and learning and development. Identifies and manages potential risks within the recruitment process, ensuring timely escalation to the CPCO when necessary.

4- Leadership and Staff management

Provides recruitment advice and support to the Global P&C Team, unit leads, hiring managers on recruitment and L&D.

5- Information requirement for decision-making

Gathers information from leadership and hiring managers to ensure recruitment strategies are relevant and aligned with unit and organizations goals. Most information is available through internal resources. Analyzes relevant recruitment and L&D trends, market conditions and insights to support informed decision-making throughout the recruitment process and L&D activities across the full organization.

6- Innovation and Improvements

Proactively gathers market intelligence from across the INGO sector and beyond, to gain a competitive edge in sourcing, assessing, attracting and developing RTP workforce. Integrates improvements into relevant policies and practice.

7- Relationships & Communications: Internal / External

Internal – Unit leads, hiring managers, HQ P&C and Global P&C Team members, internal candidates

External – Candidates, recruitment firms, vendors, L&D consultants and professional networks

8- Expertise (Certifications / Education, Professional Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, talent management or similar.
• Excellent understanding of and experience in full cycle recruitment processes and adult learning methodologies and channels.
• 6 years experience as a Talent Acquisition and People’s development management in a multi-country organization, including managing a portfolio of countries.
• Well networked with direct experience recruiting internationally in at least 3 of the following: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and/or Middle East
• Advanced knowledge and hands of experience of effective hiring platforms and learning management systems such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Learning Management System (LMS).   
• Experience in relationship building, collaboration and stakeholder engagement with diverse stakeholders to create awareness of the organization’s brand.  
• Fluency in spoken and written English.   
• Fluency in additional languages such as Arabic and French is an asset.

The Outrunners are a running charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.

We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We also create spaces for young people to explore creativity and culture, go on exciting trips, access wraparound wellbeing support, and develop the skills and opportunities they need to shape the futures they want.

Over the past five years, we’ve supported thousands of young people and helped push greater diversity within the running world.

Last year we launched an exciting partnership with Nike’s Social and Community Impact team. As a Youth Practitioner, you’ll deliver our programmes across schools in East London, aiming to engage more young people in movement and running. 

What do we want?

We are looking for a new sessional Youth Practitioner to work alongside the Youth Programme team to develop and deliver our Nike-funded schools programme across East London. 

You need to be passionate about getting young people moving, in particular girls and young women, and believe in the power of excellent youth work. You'll have a good understanding of the barriers and challenges faced by young people living in East London.

What you’ll be working on: 

Supporting our movement programmes 

• You’ll deliver fun and engaging sessions in schools to young people aged 11-18, alongside teachers and other coaches.

• You’ll work with the Youth Programme Lead and other Youth Practitioners to design movement  programmes, with a focus on running and movement whilst also bringing other sports, games and wellness activities.

• You’ll support the development of our programmes targeted at 8-18 year olds outside of schools.

• You’ll undertake administration tasks such as planning sessions, ensuring evaluation forms are completed and uploading data to our database.

• You’ll complete any other business required by management and pitch in to help with other tasks at busy times during the year. 

Working with young people and their families 

• You’ll develop and maintain relationships with young people and parents.

• You’ll support young people's attendance at approximately 5 races per year (weekends)

• You’ll work with the Youth Programme Team to plan and deliver activities over half-term and summer holidays. 

• You’ll ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld for all young people.

1- Purpose:

The Finance and Operations Manager ensures the effective financial, administrative, and operational functioning of Right To Play UK and support the establishment of Right To Play Ireland by overseeing accurate financial records, coordinating people and legal processes, and continuously improving business systems and practices to support and enable successful fundraising outcomes.

2- Accountability & Responsibilities:

Finance (90%)

• Lead financial management, compliance, budgeting and reporting for Right To Play UK and Right To Play Ireland by ensuring accurate and timely recording of all expenses and revenue connected with the operation of the offices
•  Ensure revenue is appropriately captured and coded and reconciled with bank.
• Oversee liquidity/cashflow, procurement, payroll, audits, tax reporting, and external financial relationships
• Deliver reliable management and statutory reports to leadership, Boards, HQ, and authorities.
• Lead for staff payroll and benefits, HRIS data accuracy, payroll coordination, contracts, insurance and benefits administration, and employee records to ensure compliance, efficiency, and strong organisational support

Operations (10%)

• Direct office operations, administration, IT, and legal coordination by establishing efficient administrative processes, managing office infrastructure and IT security, coordinating vendors and service providers, monitoring licenses and compliance requirements, and supporting organisational risk management and legal obligations.

3-Scope (geographical and/or functional), Impact and Autonomy

The incumbent operates with significant autonomy, holding delegated authority over financial management, systems, and office operations, including safeguarding all funds received, and preparing supplier invoices for payment. They operate with high trust and independence and is expected to safeguard assets and ensure full statutory, fiscal, and HR data compliance.

4-Leadership and Staff management

The role exercises functional and collaborative leadership with no direct reports, providing guidance and influence across Right To Play UK and Right To Play Ireland. Leadership is demonstrated through setting standards and supporting teams to work effectively within organizational policies and financial controls, by providing authoritative guidance to the offices on financial policies, internal controls, and risk management; escalating material risks and recommending mitigation actions to the Executive Director and HQ Finance. The incumbent is expected to operate effectively in a low segregation environment due to small staff size by implementing and monitoring compensating controls (spot checks, reviews with Executive Director, exception reporting) to maintain strong control integrity.

5- Information requirement for decision-making

The incumbent requires secure access to accurate financial, donor, and operational data - primarily through the MCRM and ERP systems - which is already identified and readily available and applies established analysis and reporting methods as a super-user to interpret information, ensure compliance, protect confidential constituent records, and support informed financial and operational decision-making.

6- Innovation and Improvements

The incumbent is expected to drive process improvements and functional innovations within the offices—data integrity, financial tracking, and internal collaboration—while supporting others to implement these changes, with major or high-risk innovations subject to approval by the Executive Director.

7- Relationships & Communications: Internal / External:

The incumbent maintains key internal relationships with all team members, doner services team and HQ colleagues in MCRM, Finance, and People & Culture, and external relationships with Board members, and event partners, using effective communication and donor stewardship to support organizational objectives and ensure smooth operations.  The incumbent stewards Right To Play UK and Right To Play Ireland’s fiduciary obligations and is the primary authorized liaison with banks, landlords, insurance and payroll providers, external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.

8- Expertise (Certifications / Education, Professional Experience/Language)

• Post-secondary diploma or undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration, Finance, or other related fields.
• Professional Accounting Designation preferred
• 5 years of progressive finance experience, including audit coordination, statutory filings, and external advisor management
• Adaptable with the aptitude to work well under pressure, and manage multiple competing and/or changing priorities
• Experience in navigating accounting, banking and payroll platforms
• A team player who is collaborative and innovative
• Excellent organizational skills; systematic in follow-through of tasks; diligent, with strong attention to detail
• Results-oriented with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity, with strong judgement skills and ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• General knowledge of fundraising practices, procedures and standards preferred
• Fluency in oral and written English

10- Additional Information

Ability to work irregular hours depending on event and external meeting schedule. Occasional travel for attending internal and external meetings and supporting events.
