Join us at the Animal Welfare Investigations Project (AWIP), a not-for-profit organisation that investigates and disrupts organised animal cruelty worldwide, from dogfighting and puppy farming to wildlife trafficking and the dog-meat trade. Our work brings offenders to justice and builds a global movement to end suffering, powered by digital storytelling and public support.
We’re now looking for a Marketing Executive (Social Media) to join our fast-paced Marketing & Communications Team. This role will shape how millions see our mission — driving engagement, income, and supporter growth through bold, creative campaigns.

-
Manage and optimise paid social advertising to grow AWIP’s supporter base and recurring donor network.
-
Engage directly with our followers — responding to messages and comments with empathy, professionalism, and urgency.
-
Work alongside our investigations team to flag and report potential cruelty cases seen on social media, gather evidence from witnesses, and receive OSINT (open-source intelligence) training to support real-world investigations.
-
Capture and produce behind-the-scenes content from field operations and events, showcasing AWIP’s lifesaving work.
-
Represent AWIP at digital fundraising and social media conferences, contributing to growing our thought leadership profile in digital engagement.

About Ambitious Impact (AIM)
Ambitious Impact (AIM), formerly Charity Entrepreneurship, launches organizations that cost-effectively improve human and animal lives at scale. To do so, we find talented potential entrepreneurs and provide them with world-class training, research, mentorship, and funding to start new organizations.
AIM’s work is grounded in the conviction that the world’s most significant problems can be solved by talented, dedicated entrepreneurs using evidence, innovation, and a laser focus on cost-effective impact.
Since 2018, we have incubated over 50 charities, providing talented founders with evidence-based intervention ideas, ongoing mentorship, and seed funding. Together, they are estimated to improve the lives of more than 75 million people and 1 billion animals worldwide and have been backed by organizations like GiveWell, Mulago, the Gates Foundation, and Animal Charity Evaluators.
Our flagship Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program currently launches ~10 nonprofits per year. In 2026, we want to double this, launching more than 20 charities improving lives at scale. Our bottleneck to launching more impactful charities isn't funding – it's finding the right people and ideas. Will you join us to help find the ideas that our next founders will turn into world-changing organizations?
If you’re curious what it’s like to work at AIM, we have just created a video [https://youtu.be/YjMDSHVCGFQ] where our team sits down to share their favorite aspects of the organisation, who might find it less of a good fit, and what kinds of people thrive with us.
About the Role
We seek two analytic and entrepreneurial Research Managers to contribute to our ambitious research agenda, and scale the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program from launching ~12 charities per year to 20. In these roles, you will be key in finding the ideas we recommend to future entrepreneurs, like those listed on this page.
Research roles at AIM offer unparalleled opportunities to do good through research. Within six months to a year of publication, our work becomes a fully fledged non-profit working to implement the solutions proposed by our analysis.
You will join a tight-knit team of researchers, which currently includes Filip (Senior Research Manager, Global Health and Development), Vicky (Senior Research Manager, Animal Welfare), and Morgan (Research Director).
“Research work at AIM is really unique in how applied it is. With most other research, you have to hope that you change someone's mind, or that anyone reads it. With AIM, you will have people picking up your work and dedicating their careers to working on the issue you have identified as little as 6 months later.
I've been here for six years because I love the work and think it is rewarding. Even though the process hasn't changed too much over that time, I haven't gotten bored because I kept looking into different ideas all the time, which keeps it new and interesting.”
Vicky Cox (Senior Research Manager, Animals) - Author of reports that led to Shrimp Welfare Project and Animal Policy International.

Who we are
Since 1917, PDSA (People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals) has been the UK’s most trusted veterinary charity for people and their pets. We are one of the country’s largest veterinary practices, providing 24/7 urgent, ongoing care and pet health education, and the only one delivering free care to those who need it most.
We treat more pets than all other UK vet charities combined, and our aim is to help people and pets together by providing a lifeline to owners who are unable to afford veterinary treatment. Thanks to our fantastic supporters, we can help those struggling most get the life-saving veterinary care their pet desperately needs.
About the role
The Senior Digital & Data Marketing Manager will own the design, delivery and continuous optimisation of PDSA’s digital and data marketing ecosystem to support fundraising and supporter-engagement goals. You will convert CRM insights into segmented, personalised journeys across email, direct mail and digital channels, improve website visibility and user experience, and introduce systems that make content easier to find and use.
Who we are looking for
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic digital marketer with a strong appreciation of the charity sector and demonstrable experience of using data to drive fundraising and engagement.
Candidates will ideally have proven experience in digital marketing and data analytics within the non-profit or charity sector, with strong expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and testable optimisation plans. You will also improve SEO, website performance, and email/direct marketing campaigns to drive conversion. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience managing agency and partner relationships, are a must. Leadership experience while operating with commercial awareness is valuable.
In addition, you will be familiar with fundraising strategy and donor engagement, as well as hold a professional digital marketing qualification.
Most importantly, you will share PDSA’s values — Head and Heart, Better Together and Passion with Purpose — and be pragmatic, curious and committed to ethical, compliant data use and delivering measurable impact for pets and people.
Applications for this role will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
