Operations Assistant

Himmah’s food bank and social supermarket are part of how we respond to immediate need while building longer term change. They are not just services, but spaces where people are treated with dignity, supported to access what they need and connected into wider opportunities, relationships and support.

We’re looking for an Operations Assistant to support the day to day running of these services. This role is about keeping things organised, well stocked and running smoothly, while making sure people have a positive and respectful experience. You’ll work closely with staff and volunteers, support customers and clients, and help ensure the space is clean, safe and welcoming. You’ll also play a role in connecting people into wider support and making sure the service continues to meet the needs of the community.
