About this role

This is an exciting opportunity within our newly established advocacy function to support the delivery of Working Animals International’s global advocacy strategy as part of a small, dedicated team.

Working closely with our Head of Advocacy, the Advocacy Officer will help shape and implement inclusive, evidence-based policy and advocacy initiatives that advance the welfare of working animals. The postholder will support engagement with governments, international institutions, our global partner network and wider stakeholders to drive systemic change.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week) permanent role. This is a UK based role, with regular attendance (1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

The salary for this role is c.£34k per annum, subject to skills and experience. Working Animals International offers a generous company pension scheme with a 10% employer contribution if the employee contributes a minimum 5%, and healthcare cashplan with Medicash alongside other benefits.

Support Dogs is a energetic, pioneering, national charity provding vital life saving and life changing support for individuals and families affected by autism, epilepsy and disability

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven individual to join our client services team within our assistance dog training department.

Previous experience of training dogs, using positive based methods, and a full clean driving licence are essential criteria for the post.

Desirable qualities are experience in teaching or recognised teaching qualification, awareness in varying disabilities and a recognised qualification in animal training/behaviour.
 
The role will consist of the assessing individuals and families as they apply to our charity’s assistance dog programmes for those affected by autism, epilepsy and physical disability.

You will also be required to provide training, support and guidance to individuals and families who have successfully graduated through our assistance dog programme. This includes ensuring they receive annual assessments and giving appropriate advice/ support and extra training as required throughout the dogs working lives. You will also support the preparation as older working dogs move towards retirement and the process to supply potential replacement dogs for those individuals.

Based at our national centre in Sheffield, the applicant will be required to lone work off site for periods of time, so must show the ability to work alone effectively, prioritise their workload, accordingly, use their own initiative and have excellent time management and communicational skills.They are to demonstrate a real passion for the role, a positive attitude and show flexibility within their work.

Person specification

Essential

• Substantial experience leading income‑generation activity, including developing strategies, building pipelines and securing income across multiple streams

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a motivated and organised Grants Officer to help secure vital funding for nature's recovery across Yorkshire. The role of the Dog Training Manager is to support the development and training of Hearing Dog puppies to become future life changers.

From 8 weeks of age, puppies enter their training journey to be nurtured and cared for by their volunteer puppy trainer. The Training Manager supports the work of the team responsible for the training of these dogs, ensuring the best possible standards are achieved with each and every dog.

Training Managers form a vital part of the Services department, they provide leadership for the regional teams and are responsible for the quality standards, productivity and efficiency of the dog training pipeline.

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour, with skills in teaching, mentoring and coaching people.

The ability to develop and train dogs using the skills of our volunteers is essential so we are looking for someone who finds value in working with both people and dogs and is driven by the overall goal to help train more dogs for deaf people.

What does this role do?
As IT Programme Manager (Dogs Trust Ireland CRM Delivery), you will:

• apply standardised project management lifecycles, methodologies and governance to all activity in the Dogs Trust Ireland transformation programme, ensuring all work is aligned with wider programme objectives,
• work with key stakeholders to define and document the project scope, objectives and outcomes, and then deliver organisational change and embed new ways of working,

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a proven track record in leading community fundraising teams, with the ability to drive performance to deliver income growth. You’ll need experience of managing people, ideally remotely, as this role looks after a large team working from all corners of the UK. You’ll be confident working closely with senior stakeholders, negotiating and influencing, as well as the ability to deliver effective change management, ensuring teams understand the strategic vision and are motivated to deliver it. Above all, you’ll be passionate about fundraising and the work we do, and the ability to champion the amazing work our mass participation and community fundraising teams do.

We’re on the hunt for a PR Officer, who will play a key role in connecting the public with our work through compelling media coverage.

What does this role do?
As PR Officer, you’ll:

• play a key role in the running of our busy press office, responding to requests from journalists swiftly and effectively, underpinned by a strong understanding of PR and reputational risk,
• generate pro-active media coverage for specific campaigns, writing news stories that effectively convey our key messages to journalists and the wider public,
• collaborate with centre-based Media Coordinators and Centre Managers to share positive stories about dogs in their centre, helping spread the word about the amazing work we do,
• work closely with the Public Affairs team on their campaigns, providing PR expertise and support to exciting campaigns such as to end greyhound racing and improve the rights of pet-owning renters.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 24th June 2026 and will take place in person at our London office.

Responsibilities of our Income Processing Team Leader

• To lead the team of Supporter Services Advisors, who are responsible for managing fundraising income processing, the efficient coding and allocation of fundraising income, and the accurate creation and maintenance of supporter records.
• This role will liaise with colleagues across the organisation to understand and develop governing principles of fundraising processing and administration of donations, to help deliver the best possible service to a wide range of customers, including supporters, staff and volunteers.

About the Supporter Services team:

• The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate.
• We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted.
• We currently have a team of 11

What we’re looking for in our Income Processing Team Leader:

• Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies
• Experience of working in an income processing role, preferably within a fundraising environment
• Experience of developing, monitoring and maintaining recording systems and procedures
• IT literate – proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases (preferably Care or similar)
• Knowledge of fundraising activities

About this role

The Individual Giving Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering our individual giving programmes. They will work closely with our Head of Individual Giving to shape strategic plans across UK and international markets, driving income growth and expanding our global impact. 

The Individual Giving manager will manage the development and delivery of our regular giving programme in the UK and globally, using market and audience insight and learnings to ensure optimal performance across the programme. 

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week) permanent role. This is a UK based role, with regular attendance (1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK. The salary for this role is c.£42k per annum, subject to skills and experience.
