Are you a strategic events professional, with experience of leading high value engagement activity in the charitable sector? 
From intimate cultivation dinners to flagship stewardship moments, our high value events play a vital role in building long term relationships with our most committed supporters. We’re looking for two new High Value Events Manager’s to lead the operational oversight of this programme and ensure our events create meaningful, high-impact experiences that support our wider fundraising goals. 

What does this role do?
As High Value Events Manager, you'll:

• provide strategic oversight of an allocated portfolio of flagship, bespoke and stewardship events for high value audiences, ensuring activity is well planned, of exceptional quality and aligned with wider income and engagement objectives. 
• lead the delivery of selected large, complex events and line manage a High Value Events Officer, providing operational oversight and support to ensure effective delivery of a shared events portfolio that supports the wider event programme. 
• lead on the development of event concepts, audiences, messaging and calls to action, ensuring events are purposeful, impactful and the best use of team resource. 
• work closely with colleagues across Philanthropy, Corporate and Trusts to ensure that the events programme supports integrated cultivation and stewardship activity. 
• alongside the Deputy Head of High Value Fundraising Operations (Events), contribute to the development and delivery of a long-term strategy for high value events that supports sustainable income growth and supporter engagement.

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care. 

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home. 

To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history. 

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trusts & Foundations fundraiser who is ready to strengthen and diversify their experience, to work with small, medium and high-value funders, and to play a meaningful role within Greyhound Rescue Wales.

The Trusts and Foundations Officer is responsible for securing grants of varying sizes, translating all aspects of GRW’s work into compelling, high-quality applications for a diverse range of prospective funders.

As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to help deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of trust and foundation relationships, building on warm funders while also researching and developing new prospects at the four-to six-figure level.

We’re searching for an experienced Legacy Officer, who will play a vital role in ensuring every gift left to Dogs Trust in a will reaches its full potential. This role sits at the heart of our work, as every legacy makes a difference to the dogs we support.

What does this role do?
As a Legacy Officer, you will: 

• manage a caseload of pecuniary, specific, life interest, and residuary legacies, ensuring the charity receives its full entitlement and maximising value where possible,
• liaise with external stakeholders, such as executors or solicitors, handling sensitive conversations efficiently and professionally,
• review estate accounts, including the allocation of Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Inheritance Tax (IHT), to confirm estates are correctly administered,
• represent the charity’s interests in all legacy-related correspondence, handling queries from legal professionals and the public with professionalism,
• maintain accurate records using the First Class 4 database, support with reporting, and escalate significant matters to senior legal staff as needed.

Could this be you?
With proven experience in legacy administration, you will have good knowledge of wills, probate, tax and trust law. With excellent attention to detail, you will be highly organised and able to demonstrate experience of managing and prioritising own caseload. We're looking for a Community Fundraising Officer, based at our rehoming centre in Harefield, West London, to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups and deliver excellent customer care for all Dogs Trust supporters, but particularly potential and existing legacy pledgers.

What does this role do?
As Community Fundraising Officer, you’ll:

• link the rehoming centre with supporters in the local community, developing relationships with local individuals, businesses, community groups and clubs, 
• feed into various income streams through these relationships, identifying prospects in the community and develop a pipeline of future donors and legacy donations,
• steward existing and potential donors, always providing them with a seamless supporter journey, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the work we do and feel motivated to support our meaningful local work,
• organise supporter events, talks and tours both onsite and externally.
• completing all administration related to donations to the centre, including thanking and banking.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some community fundraising experience, with the ability to build connections and connect with the local community. To do this, you’ll need excellent communication skills and be able to confidently approach and interact with supporters. While you’ll be a key part of the rehoming centre team, you’ll be regularly be working independently, so strong organisational skills and a proactive approach is essential.

This role is based at the rehoming centre, and the post holder will spend lots of time in the community meeting supporters. The working pattern is typically Monday and Tuesdays, but flexibility is required and is likely to involve some evening and weekend work, depending on the nature of the work.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dog Training Manager in and around the South West of England.

The role of the Dog Training Manager is to support the development and training of Hearing Dog puppies to become future life changers.

From 8 weeks of age, puppies enter their training journey to be nurtured and cared for by their volunteer puppy trainer. The Training Manager supports the work of the team responsible for the training of these dogs, ensuring the best possible standards are achieved with each and every dog.

Training Managers form a vital part of the Services department, they provide leadership for the regional teams and are responsible for the quality standards, productivity and efficiency of the dog training pipeline.

We are looking for a self-motivated and positive individual with practical and theoretical experience in dog training and behaviour, with skills in teaching, mentoring and coaching people.

The ability to develop and train dogs using the skills of our volunteers is essential so we are looking for someone who finds value in working with both people and dogs and is driven by the overall goal to help train more dogs for deaf people.

You will need resilience and a high degree of efficiency to be a successful Dog Training Manager and hold a full clean UK driving licence.

This is a significant moment in Daybreaks Trust’s development. In recent years, the charity has enjoyed a period of sustained financial performance. It has also recently received a significant financial legacy, which provides an important opportunity to invest in future capacity, resilience and impact.

Daybreaks Trust is now appointing a Chief Executive Officer to provide operational leadership, strengthen governance and work closely with the Board, staff and volunteers to shape the next chapter.

Position: Fundraising Officer (internally known as Major Gifts Officer)

Location: Devon/Hybrid (site attendance estimated to be one day per week, flexibility considered)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday

Salary: £31,431per annum

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

As Major Gifts Officer, you will support delivery of agreed activity within the Major Gifts Team, successfully cultivating and stewarding a portfolio of mid-value individuals and trusts and delivering a range of agreed projects. Working closely with the Major Gifts Managers, you will evolve and continuously improve supporter stewardship and cultivation activity in line with their capacity and propensity to donate, continuously evaluating performance.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of the Major Gifts Strategy, improving Major Gifts performance. 
• Supporting the Major Gifts cultivation/stewardship programme to grow the number of supporters financially contributing mid value and major gifts.
• Managing, supporting and attending Major Gifts stewardship and cultivation meetings and events, including supplier liaison, supporter invite lists, follow ups and budgets. 
• Securing, managing and stewarding a portfolio of active mid-value donors and charitable trusts, delivering compelling bids and donor reports, forging and maintaining strong and enduring relationships.
• Researching current and potential major and mid-value donors to enable a donor-centric approach.
• Delivering and reporting on agreed development and stewardship projects, fundraising targets.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor information on our CRM system.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Demonstrable experience of strong administrative and organisational support within a busy, fast paced environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data management skills, and experience of working with databases or CRM systems.
• Experience of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Able to support the planning and delivery of activities or events, including administrative and logistical coordination.
