- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Health, Safety & Environment team

The team deal with the Cats Protection retail outlets, Cat Centres, accident investigations, DSE, branch volunteer enquiries and more.
What we’re looking for in our Health & Safety and Environment Administrator:

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Data Management Officer to join the charity’s Data and Insights Function. You will be joining the charity at a time of significant opportunity as we continue to strengthen our approach to data, insight and supporter engagement.
The Data Management Officer will mainly be responsible for managing and developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and supporter data. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CRM and data professional who enjoys hands-on responsibility for systems, process improvement and data management, and enabling colleagues to deliver exceptional fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activity. Working closely with teams across the charity, you will ensure our CRM remains effective, compliant and fit for purpose while helping us better understand and engage our supporters. This role can be offered on a fully remote basis, with the option to work from Perth Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located or our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport, if preferred. Role Overview
The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Governance
1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.
2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.
3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.
5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.

Job Purpose
Sequence ME & Long Covid is one of the most ambitious whole-genome sequencing studies ever undertaken into ME and Long Covid, co-led by Action for ME. Building on the success of DecodeME, this proposed £20 million study will use large-scale, long-read whole-genome sequencing to analyse the entire genetic code of 9,000 people with ME and 9,000 people with Long Covid - making it the world's largest 'long-read' whole-genome sequencing study of any disease.
Current funding supports project mobilisation, partnership development, and the development of the Long Covid arm of the study, including agreeing case definitions and gathering expressions of interest from people with Long Covid. Phase 2 has recently been confirmed, backed by £4.75m from the UK government and a further £174,414 from the WE&ME Foundation, and will focus on sequencing 6,000 ME/CFS samples previously collected through DecodeME using Oxford Nanopore's long-read sequencing technology, running alongside Phase 1.
You will play a pivotal role supporting the Sequence ME & Long Covid project in several different ways. Working closely with the project's management team and other team members, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of this landmark study, providing administrative support to the various people and partners involved in delivering it.
As a self-starter, you will manage a range of tasks including meeting scheduling, taking meeting minutes, preparing governance documents, event administration, and broader project support - no two days will be the same.
You will need to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times, particularly when supporting governance meetings and handling sensitive project documentation.

We are seeking a Finance and Governance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the Trust’s finance, governance, and back-office functions. While not involved in field-based project delivery, the Finance Manager plays a strategic role in supporting the organisation’s mission by enabling robust financial planning, reporting, and operational support. Job purpose
As Youth Engagement Project Officer, you’ll work closely with the Programme Manager, the wider Libraries Rising team, The Reading Agency, library services and young people to support the delivery of this project, and to develop our wider support of libraries with their youth engagement work.
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll be:
- A strong communicator, confident with building relationships and keeping everyone on track.
- Experienced in working with young people and partner organisations.
- Committed to platforming young people’s voices, especially those who are underserved by their communities, marginalised, or experiencing deprivation.
- Committed to co-creative practice and working with, not doing to.
- Experienced in creating, developing and implementing effective systems and procedures.
- Experienced in providing operational, administrative and project support, with digital skills including use of Microsoft Office and supporting remote teams.
- Experienced in providing in person and online event planning and support.
- Aware of GDPR implications and requirements.
- Committed to your own professional development.
