Are you an experienced challenge events fundraiser? We have an opportunity to join a leading mental health charity to join the Events team for a 12 month contract.
This is a hybrid role based in London or Cardiff, with 2 days a week in the office.
The role
The Events team is a part of a wider Engagement team, responsible for raising more than £23 million this year!
This role would be working with the Senior Events Officer and another Events Officer, and would help deliver the charity's biggest and best London Marathon event (likely spending 75% of the time working on London Marathon, and the remaining 25% working on another event in the portfolio).
Supporter engagement sits at the core of the role, with a focus on meeting and exceeding engagement and fundraising KPIs through proactive communication, tailored guidance, and personalised stewardship.
You would need to interpret and analyse performance data to optimise supporter journeys, strengthen campaign effectiveness and maximise income.
Work closely with supporters to understand their motivations, while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams.
Support with key events and activities, with some travel and out of hours working required to help deliver high quality, on the ground supporter experiences.

About the Role
The Senior Partnerships Officer (SPO) will work closely with the Chief Executive (CEO) and Fundraising Lead (FL) to ensure the charity has sufficient funding to achieve its mission. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.

Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. Context
As the Community and Events Fundraising Officer, you will play a key part in ending youth homelessness in Scotland by inspiring people to support Rock Trust.
You will deliver exceptional supporter care and create meaningful experiences for everyone fundraising for us. Although a varied role, your work will follow strong themes – relationship building, spending time with supporters, and working with the Fundraising team; all to make a tangible difference for young people.
You’ll join an experienced and collaborative Fundraising and Communications team and be supported to identify opportunities to grow our community presence, take ownership of our community-led income, and inspire long term supporter loyalty to Rock Trust. In this varied and people-focused role you will meet and present to community groups such as schools, student societies, churches, and voluntary organisations. You may support groups to host their own events, take part in Youth and Philanthropy Initiative projects, or run collections, and you’ll play an important role in improving our supporter stewardship; helping create meaningful ways to connect with, and thank, our supporters.
You will also look after our events portfolio; recruiting participants, ensuring they receive top-notch stewardship, and supporting them in their fundraising journey. Role Purpose:
This role will support income generation by providing assistance to the Fundraising team. Key areas of focus include fundraising data management, central relationship management (CRM) development and digital transformation, and coordination of fundraising resources.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise the fundraising CRM to maintain accurate, accessible and reliable supporter data, enhancing workflows, processes and supporter journeys to improve operational efficiency and support fundraising objectives.
Manage fundraising data processes, including imports, exports and supporter segmentation, while maintaining high standards of data quality, compliance and GDPR adherence to support effective fundraising campaigns and stewardship activities.
