We are looking for an experienced and organised Finance Officer to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of our charity.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with numbers but also understands that good charity finance is about much more than processing transactions. You will help us understand our financial position, make informed decisions about our resources and ensure that our funding is managed responsibly.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our finances, including bookkeeping, payments and receipts, reconciliations, payroll liaison, budgeting, grant monitoring and producing regular management information. You will also support the preparation of year-end information and work with our external auditor as required.
We are a placed based health and wellbeing charity working to improve the lives of people in our communities. We are committed to making a meaningful difference and ensuring that our resources are used effectively and responsibly.

About The Role
Every story matters here. Some are quiet, some joyful, some hard to tell. As a Video Production Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, you will help bring these stories to life with care, honesty and craft.
You will join a creative team that believes in storytelling as a force for understanding, challenge and change. Working with the Video Production Manager, you will create and edit content across social media, interviews, campaign films and longer-form storytelling.
This role has a strong focus on editing and post-production. We’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping stories in the edit: finding the right moments, building pace and structure, working with sound and graphics, and turning raw footage into engaging, polished content.
People come to this role from many paths, whether film or media training, freelance work, community storytelling or self-taught practice. What matters most is strong editing ability, a good instinct for storytelling and a commitment to creating inclusive, respectful work.
What you’ll do
You will work across the production process, but a significant part of your role will be focused on editing and post-production, supporting everything from quick-turnaround social content to interviews, campaign films and longer, story-led pieces.
Using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software, alongside tools such as After Effects where appropriate, you will edit raw footage into clear and engaging stories. You will make confident decisions around narrative, pacing, music, sound and visual treatment, as well as adapting content for different channels and formats.
You will create cutdowns and different versions of content, add subtitles and graphics, and apply accessibility best practice so our work can reach as many people as possible.
You will also have opportunities to support filming and production. This may include shooting interviews and documentary-style content, setting up lighting and sound, and helping to create a calm, respectful environment where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
Alongside editing and filming, you will support production planning and logistics, including call sheets, scheduling and risk assessments, and contribute creative ideas about how our stories can be brought to life.
Collaboration is central. You will work closely with the Video Production Manager and colleagues across our creative and wider teams, respond constructively to feedback and help ensure finished content is delivered accurately and consistently across platforms including social media, YouTube and internal channels.
About you

Every story matters here. Some are quiet, some joyful, some hard to tell. As a Video Production Executive at Alzheimer’s Society, you will help bring these stories to life with care, honesty and craft.
You will join a creative team that believes in storytelling as a force for understanding, challenge and change. Working with the Video Production Manager, you will create and edit content across social media, interviews, campaign films and longer-form storytelling.
This role has a strong focus on editing and post-production. We’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping stories in the edit: finding the right moments, building pace and structure, working with sound and graphics, and turning raw footage into engaging, polished content.
People come to this role from many paths, whether film or media training, freelance work, community storytelling or self-taught practice. What matters most is strong editing ability, a good instinct for storytelling and a commitment to creating inclusive, respectful work.
What you’ll do
You will work across the production process, but a significant part of your role will be focused on editing and post-production, supporting everything from quick-turnaround social content to interviews, campaign films and longer, story-led pieces.
Using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar professional editing software, alongside tools such as After Effects where appropriate, you will edit raw footage into clear and engaging stories. You will make confident decisions around narrative, pacing, music, sound and visual treatment, as well as adapting content for different channels and formats.
You will create cutdowns and different versions of content, add subtitles and graphics, and apply accessibility best practice so our work can reach as many people as possible.
You will also have opportunities to support filming and production. This may include shooting interviews and documentary-style content, setting up lighting and sound, and helping to create a calm, respectful environment where people feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
Alongside editing and filming, you will support production planning and logistics, including call sheets, scheduling and risk assessments, and contribute creative ideas about how our stories can be brought to life.
Collaboration is central. You will work closely with the Video Production Manager and colleagues across our creative and wider teams, respond constructively to feedback and help ensure finished content is delivered accurately and consistently across platforms including social media, YouTube and internal channels.
About you

Here at Action For Humanity (AFH), we are looking for a Regional Fundraising Manager in London. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £46,729 per annum (depending on experience).
AFH is an INGO that aims to provide aid and assistance to people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Our vision is a world of crises-resilient communities. Our mission is to mobilise and respond to emergencies and critical needs through humanitarian, development and peace-building action, helping affected communities survive, recover and build a better future.
As our Regional Fundraising Manager (London), you will take a creative and dynamic approach to income generation, hosting events and challenges in the community, utilising and building their networks, building corporate partnerships, benefitting from CSR schemes, developing long term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and major donors, and forging new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Diversifying income streams and building new partnerships in your region:
- Drive for full maximisation of income generation opportunities across direct response, corporate partnerships, events, grant making, major gift and legacy promotion activities within the London region.
- Personally build and manage a “top prospect” list of high-net-worth individuals, organisations, stakeholders, businesses, networks, corporate partners and grant making sources to lead from the front and have a measurable personal impact on fundraising goals in the London region.
- Devise and implement a plan to help the charity maximise on a range of funding streams, exploring new and innovative opportunities in the London region.
- Identify and support local causes in the London region.
- Work towards achieving income targets and KPIs.
2. Supporting and maintaining current fundraising activities in the London region & supporting the wider team:
- Develop a volunteer base to deliver the fundraising activities within the London region.
- Provide reports for the London region’s fundraising activity, including reports for donors, income reports, and working closely with Programmes on developing feedback, programmes update, reports for donors and/or fundraisers.
- Work with cross functional departments on fundraising income reconciliation.
- Support the team with planning and evaluation as required.
- Monitor income against targets and KPIs.
3. Building the charity’s external fundraising profile, and positioning the charity effectively as an impactful, trustworthy and efficient charity of choice for donors:
- Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and team to effectively communicate the charity’s vision to internal and external audiences, for fundraising purposes.
- Work closely with Marketing to capitalise and build on our new AFH brand with specific focus on income generation from the London region.
- Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to look at how income generation within your region and surrounding areas can be considered in marketing plans and input into campaigns to ensure they align with the agreed income generation targets.
- Contribute towards building a strong external fundraising profile for the charity, and work with fellow team members, stakeholders, and community organisations.
4. Compliance
- Ensure fundraising policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure compliance with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Conduct
- Act as the risk manager for fundraising for your region
What we are looking for in our Regional Fundraising Manager (London):
Education
- Educated to degree level, desirable but not essential
- Qualification in fundraising, sales or business development beneficial but not essential
- An in-depth current knowledge of all aspects of fundraising and income generation
Experience
- A proven creative commercial approach to income generation activities, backed up with a strong understanding of the market in the London region
- Evidence of a range of innovative ideas and thinking related to income generation
- Proven success with identifying, pursuing and securing new business in the charity sector
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop, maintain and utilise a network of relationships, including with high-profile, high net-worth and/or influential people
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to plan ahead while also remaining flexible and adaptable to rapid changes
- An excellent planning and project management approach with the ability to ensure varied activity is coordinated and coherent, and to support others in this approach
