About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.
Working closely with managers across the organisation, the postholder will oversee the end-to-end volunteer journey, ensuring volunteers receive a positive, inclusive and well-supported experience from application through to departure.
The role will coordinate recruitment for all volunteer opportunities, including volunteer counsellors, facilitators, administrative volunteers, finance volunteers, fundraising volunteers and other volunteer roles as required. The IDVA will provide high quality, trauma-informed independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse who y face multiple disadvantages in accessing support service across Merton. Funded by MOPAC (the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime), this post focuses on improving access to justice, safety and holistic support to individuals affected by domestic abuse, including those navigating the criminal justice system.
Working as part of a community-based service, the IDVA will deliver support through outreach, co-locations and partnership working across a range of settings in Merton to ensure survivors can access support in ways and locations that are safe, accessible, and responsive to their individual needs.

A little bit about you
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience working with young people aged 14-25 and a track record of building trusted relationships with them. You will understand the issues facing care and social work experienced young people, along with the policy landscape shaping children’s social care. You will have practical experience running engagement and facilitation activities, and ideally some familiarity with co-production and youth-led approaches. Background in the social care or youth sector is important, along with solid safeguarding knowledge, and any experience reporting to funders would be a plus.

About the role
This role is worked over 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, typically between 9:00am and 5:00pm. You will also be required to work at least two late shifts per month 1pm to 7pm to support service needs. The role
We are looking for an energetic, organised and enthusiastic challenge event and corporate fundraiser to join our ambitious fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in fundraising, ideally working within the corporate or challenge event fields.
