We are looking for someone to join St Mungo’s as Assistant Director of Client Experience. This new post brings together a range of services that deliver added value to our service offer for clients.
From leading the work on client involvement, to developing and delivering learning, training and employment interventions, to providing advice and improving our practice on welfare rights and complex health and wellbeing needs, this role is central to delivering our work to support clients to rebuild their lives.
As Assistant Director of Client Experience, you will work closely with client services and fundraising colleagues, bringing these areas together to ensure we deliver compelling services that enhance our client experience, attract funders, and clearly demonstrate their impact and value.
You will embed a culture of collaboration, strengthening partnerships with different organisations so that, across the system, we work towards providing the services our clients need and that achieve the greatest impact.
In this role you will:
- Oversee client involvement, resident engagement and lived experience apprenticeship schemes.
- Lead the coordination of our volunteers and the assessment of social work student placements.
- Oversee services offering clients learning, training and employment support.
- Lead work that supports clients and colleagues to navigate the welfare system, and to manage complex needs such as health, substance use, palliative care and bereavement.
- Focus on increasing our innovation, testing and learning from different interventions.
About you
We are looking for an experienced operational leader with a background in leading teams delivering services to groups of vulnerable adult clients. You will bring a passion for client involvement and a track record of developing, innovating and strengthening service offers and bringing teams together.
Your leadership will be committed, empowering, accountable, creative and inclusive. You will be an excellent problem solver with strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage colleagues at all levels and build effective partnerships across the sector. You will also have experience of managing budgets and using complex data to inform decisions and improve performance.
Above all, you make things happen. You drive progress efficiently while building engagement and collaboration, ensuring outcomes are delivered and meet the needs of the organisation.
Flexible working
This post is offered on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), or part time hours can be considered (minimum 22.5 hours per week). We are open to discussions about different working patterns, for example condensed hours.
We support flexible and agile working. This role is London-based, with an expectation of working from our Central Office or one of our services at least 2 days per week to support collaboration, leadership, training and relationship-building. Due to the nature of the role, you will also work across different London and regional services and be expected to spend a significant part of your time our engaging with colleagues and clients in our services.
Our Central Office is currently located in Tower Hill, with a plan to relocate to a new space in Farringdon in summer 2026.

What You’ll Do

The Role:
The Fostering Recruitment Officer/Family Support Worker role focuses on working with prospective and approved foster carers, children and families. You will be available to respond to and visit prospective foster carers as well as plan and participate in recruitment events across the region, contribute to facetoface and online activities and opportunities to support those interested in fostering.
This role requires the candidate to support children and young people in person and attend recruitment activities across the South Coast, focusing primarily on Hampshire and Dorset, including Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and surroundings. Therefore, the use of a car suitable for transporting children is an essential requirement of the post, along with the ability to travel extensively, working flexibly around hours and days, including occasional weekends and occasional evenings, as key support to children and their carers and to respond to prospective carers' availability. Flexibility is required in the role to manage and support at short notice, meeting the needs of the children/service.
All employees are homebased but are required to travel regularly to the above locations and attend monthly face to face meetings, wellbeing events, and training events.

The Head of Media manages the development and delivery of our media strategy, ensuring Global Witness achieves impactful, high-profile coverage that supports our campaigning, fundraising and brand goals. You will be responsible for managing both proactive and reactive media work across the full breadth of our work. You will also play a central role in managing reputational risk, crisis communications, and cross-organisational coordination.
The role will be vital in ensuring our media output is evidence-based, values-aligned, and informed by audience insights. You will oversee rigorous evaluation of media impact and performance, supporting a culture of learning, agility and audience-first thinking across the organisation.

• Significant experience working in a senior media, press or communications role, preferably within an advocacy, campaigning or NGO setting.
• Proven track record of securing impactful media coverage across a wide range of international outlets.

About the Role
As the Deputy Team Leader - Witness Service (Court-Based), you will support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and consistent service for all witnesses attending court.
You will:
- Support daily case allocations to ensure witnesses receive timely needs and risk assessments, support, and referrals.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role, you will support Employment Specialists by providing training, mentoring, supervision, and modelling the IPS approach, including field mentoring in employer engagement.
You will deliver a quality employment service and meet targets for client referrals, engagement, and outcomes. You will work with key stakeholders, including NHS team leaders, Borough Leads for Occupational Therapy, and Partnership Managers, to ensure services are integrated, issues resolved, and the service championed.
You will also support the Service Lead in maximising outcomes while managing around seven Employment Specialists and a caseload of up to 10 clients.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
You must have previous experience working in an IPS base employment support function previously as well as managing both remote and in person teams who are working towards targets. You will also be required to have extensive experience supporting people with ill mental health in there job search. Aside from the technical skills you will need to bring a positive outlook and natural ability to work with multiple external stakeholders and teams making sure you get the best outcomes for both service users and commissioners.

Events and Communications:
- Plan and deliver a range of face to face and online events that help young people feel part of a supportive community.
- Identify opportunities for young people to participate in lived experience panels, peer mentoring, volunteering and storytelling.

- Ensure the voices of children and young people inform service development, delivery and review.
