This role requires regular travel to our London office, typically once per month or as the role demands.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 9-month fixed term contract and play a key role in supporting the organisation during an important period of systems change.

we are looking for an Events Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in managing, developing and growing our events fundraising area income stream.
The Events Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing the event fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale, including large scale, virtual, bespoke challenge, third party and individual events. You will also lead on innovation and new projects with the aim of increasing our profile and income, to support our aim to end rough sleeping, and continue providing support to people experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop events fundraising programme, supporting the current portfolio and leading on new activities.

Where you’ll be working

This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

The Advice Services directorate at Toynbee Hall is central to our commitment to address and alleviate poverty in London and beyond. Specialising in debt, welfare benefits, legal support, and generalist advice, our directorate has proven instrumental in significantly enhancing the financial wellbeing of those we serve. Last year alone, our efforts helped individuals and families to be over £23 million better off, showcasing the direct impact of our work.

Job purpose
As a Customer Care Representative, you’ll be the first friendly face (or voice) people meet when they reach out for help with challenges like debt, housing, benefits, employment or consumer issues. You’ll play a key role in helping each person feel listened to, supported, and confident about their next steps.
You’ll handle a mix of face-to-face, phone, and digital enquiries, working with empathy, patience, and clear communication. With full training provided, you’ll gain the skills to manage sensitive conversations, complete initial assessments, book appointments, and connect people to the right support services quickly and smoothly.
Scope of role
· Provide friendly, professional, and high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for people seeking advice.
· Manage a range of enquiries via phone, email, web chat, WhatsApp, and in-person at our Triage Hub
· Conduct initial assessments and book appointments with our advice specialists.
· Maintain accurate and confidential client information using our CRM system, always following GDPR and data protection requirements.

About the role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operational safeguarding functions for our charity. You will manage a team of Safeguarding Officers to ensure that an effective and robust safeguarding service is provided. The post holder will provide professional advice and support on safeguarding matters to staff and volunteers, as well as liaising and meeting with external bodies, and occasionally delivering training.
You will have experience of the voluntary youth or community sector as a direct practitioner, and knowledge of Early Help and statutory guidance relating to safeguarding children and adults at risk. You will also have experience of managing a team where safeguarding is the main focus area of your work.
Our safeguarding team operates centrally in London where we are responsible for providing support, advice and guidance to our volunteers relating on all safeguarding matters across the UK. Our Safeguarding Officers act as our lead professionals in managing safeguarding casework in line with our policy, procedures, national guidance and in line with our statutory duty.
Whilst this is a Monday- Friday full time position, a flexible approach to work and working patterns is a must, as is the ability to work effectively and respond appropriately in challenging circumstances.

· A relevant professional qualification for example: Youth Work, Education, Early Years or demonstrable equivalent work experience.
