About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of volunteers across Woman's Trust.

The Role

This is a 2-year funded post with specific responsibility to improve and increase our support to those over 65 who are experiencing financial hardship
In the brand-new role of team leader, you will take on the responsibility ofproviding structured line management to our existing advice service. Supporting our four skilled and experienced part-time advice workers, while also expanding the service.
You will coordinate and deliver advice and information to new and existing groups including our own Older People’s Lunch Clubs.
Establish new satellite provision, delivering finance workshops, and drop-in services, and providing additional delivery capacity.
Ensure our Advice and Information team keep up to date with changes to legislation and support mechanisms so that they are empowered to support people in a holistic way. This will include signposting service users to the most appropriate support both internally, to other parts of our service, and to other external support.
You will lead on our efforts to gain the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) to ensure our service is of the highest professional standard.
You will represent ICCM on relevant panels and network groups across Greater Manchester. This ensures our service is connected to the wider support landscape and integrated with city and region-wide initiatives.
You will be expected to take on a limited caseload of one-to-one appointments providing advice and information to people.
Between drop-in, group sessions and one-to-one case load it is expected that you will work based on approximately 2 days per week being direct delivery. This is once the role has been fully established.

About the role
The Turn2us Programmes Team runs place-based programmes to address the symptoms of and tackles the causes of financial insecurity. The Barking and Dagenham Programme has been running for three years working across multiple locations in Barking and Dagenham to design solutions to financial insecurity with residents and convene local stakeholders to drive systems change. This role will continue to work in partnership with local organisations and residents to develop and manage an innovative, high impact programme of support that includes lived experience, grants, and information so that people living in financial insecurity have the opportunity to build financial security and thrive in the places where they live.
About you
We are looking for someone experienced in managing programmes with complex projects, partnerships, and power dynamics and key stakeholders across the social, public, and charitable sector.
The candidate should be a strong communicator, collaborative, and able to translate complex ideas values to diverse audiences, and skilled in people management. They should be knowledgeable in embedding principals of EDIB, safeguarding, and GDPR.
Candidates should have a proven track record of financial accountability and community-led or community action programmes through collaborative and co-produced approaches.
The candidate should be committed to social justice, accountability, driving change, and empowering communities.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 1 day a week.
Some roles may be required to be in the office more often than others and this will be agreed with the hiring manager upon starting at Turn2us.

The Belay Foundation supports adoptive, kinship and special guardianship families raising children who have experienced early developmental trauma, often alongside neurodiversity. Founded in 2020 from lived experience, Belay offers something many families struggle to find elsewhere: practical, in-home support and expert guidance that’s genuinely trauma-responsive, delivered by people who understand what these families are living through.

As we continue to grow our reach and impact, we're looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Manager to help tell our story, strengthen our profile and build meaningful relationships with the families, partners and supporters who make our work possible.
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, you'll lead our communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement activity, helping more families discover our services while supporting fundraising, partnerships and organisational growth. You'll also play a key role in embedding lived experience across our communications and engagement, ensuring the voices of families remain at the heart of everything we do.
This is a home-based role for two days per week (0.4 FTE), offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to shape a growing national charity. There may be potential to increase the hours over time, subject to funding, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the organisation. This is a home‑based role, but applicants must be permanently based, and have the right to work, in the United Kingdom. For legal, tax, and operational reasons, we cannot consider applications from outside the UK.
