What You’ll Do: 

• Ensure highquality care in line with our policies and Christian values;
• Lead and manage the care and hospitality teams ensuring they are welltrained and motivated;

• Responsible for the home’s budget, in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team. This includes local purchasing etc within budget limits;

As a Wilder Learning Officer, you’ll help shape and deliver an inspiring programme of outdoor learning, training and engagement that connects people of all ages with nature across Sussex. You’ll coordinate and deliver high‑quality sessions to teachers and children across EYFS, Primary and Secondary phases, in-school and outdoor settings. You’ll deliver and assess our accredited Forest School and Wild Beach training programmes to adults; advise on school grounds improvement for nature; and champion the benefits of nature connection through a wide range of activities and events. Alongside hands‑on delivery, you’ll support in marking, evaluation and planning; contribute to income generation; and help ensure our schools and learning programmes are safe, inclusive and reflective of best practice. The Role

Job Title: Fundraising Manager

Job purpose

· Forward-plan funding streams to ensure a smooth and regular flow of income that meets The Avenues’ budget (currently £1.2m p.a., much of which has been secured for the next 18 months).

· Develop existing and new relationships with funders to maximise immediate and long-term income for the organisation and its various projects.

· Write compelling proposals and applications that secure significant income from trusts and foundations, coordinating input from across The Avenues team.

· Research and identify new prospects from a diversity of sources with a view to securing medium and large grants for The Avenues.

Accountabilities and responsibilities

·  Identify and develop opportunities from a range of trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies.

· Draft, submit and manage the progress of all funding applications for The Avenues’ priority projects (approximately 30-40 applications per year).

· Develop fundraising proposal budgets in collaboration with Programme and Finance colleagues, ensuring needs are accurately costed and aligned with donor requirements.

· Work with colleagues to develop new project ideas that fit within The Avenues’ organisational goals and within budgets that meet funders’ criteria.

·  Handle the post-grant paperwork, notifying the team and updating our records.

· Develop and manage positive relationships with funders, including necessary communications with grants officers, potential major donors, corporate donors and community supporters.

· Manage the pipeline of applications and fundraising database; providing financial reporting and other management information to colleagues on a timely basis.

· Work with the Chief Executive, trustees and community volunteers to help organise our fundraising events (dinner-auction, party, quiz night, marathon). Assisting with the smooth-running of these events, including writing and producing communication materials.

·  Write the quarterly email newsletter for our supporter mailing list.

· Manage and optimise the charity’s CRM system (Beacon), ensuring fundraising contact data is accurate, well maintained, and used effectively.

· Perform other duties as required by the Chief Executive to the overall direction and running of the charity and develop productive relationships with external stakeholders.

Experience and skills

·  Excellent writing skills with the ability to write concise and creative bids.

· 3+ years’ proven track record in a fundraising position, with a focus on trusts/foundations and public sector income streams.  (Or, you may equally have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment.)

You’ll be an experienced designer bursting with creative ideas and passionate about using your skills to tell compelling stories that inspire people to take action. You’ll have the ability to develop our visual brand, to lead on the production of bold, audience-centric concepts, and to work closely with videographers and copywriters to support the organisation’s ambitious campaigning, activism and fundraising goals.  

You will also line manage the Midweight Graphic Designer and oversee all graphic design output to ensure it is high quality, rooted in insight and delivered on time.

Key Skills and Attributes:

Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Foundations)
Salary: £52,000 per annum
Permanent, full time

Hybrid working (London-based office, minimum two days a week including Tuesdays)

Are you ready to lead a thriving Trusts and Foundations portfolio that is already performing exceptionally well, with strong relationships, a robust pipeline, and compelling projects to fund? This is an exciting opportunity to shape long-term high-value income that will directly support people of all ages to receive compassionate end of life care.

In this role, you will take forward an established income stream at a time of significant organisational growth. You will be supported by knowledgeable colleagues, an experienced Head of Philanthropy, and a capable Philanthropy Assistant whom you will line-manage. Together, you will craft powerful cases for support, nurture long-term relationships, and create funding opportunities that make a real impact.

What you’ll do

• Lead the Trusts & Foundations fundraising strategy to maximise income.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value Trusts and grantmakers, including those with seven-figure potential.
• Research, develop and maintain a strong, long-term funding pipeline.
• Craft clear, compelling applications and cases for support.
• Build collaborative relationships with internal teams to shape project proposals and impact reporting.
• Provide insightful reporting, analysis and forecasting.
• Deliver exceptional stewardship and supporter care.
• Line manage and develop the Philanthropy Assistant.
• Uphold fundraising best practice and regulatory standards.
• Deputise for the Head of Philanthropy when required.

What you’ll bring

• Significant experience in securing high-value Trust and Foundation income, including six-figure and multi-year gifts.

MYTIME Young Carers is recruiting a Level Up Academy Coordinator to lead delivery of our accredited Young Carer Champion Academy (YCCA)

About the Role

The Level Up Academy Coordinator delivers our accredited two-day Young Carer Champion Academy to education professionals, supporting schools to strengthen identification and support for young carers.

Working closely with Headteachers, SENCOs, DSLs, pastoral leads and inclusion teams, you will help schools embed effective systems and whole-school approaches that improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils.

As part of a paid, accredited CPD offer, the role also includes generating interest in the programme and converting engagement into sustainable school partnerships. This is not purely a delivery role and it requires confidence influencing school leaders and articulating the value and impact of professional training.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality CPD training to education professionals
• Support schools to implement effective identification and safeguarding-informed support systems
• Build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, SENCOs and pastoral teams
• Develop and manage a local pipeline of partner schools
• Convert interest and enquiries into booked training
• Monitor delivery, engagement and impact using CRM and digital systems

What We’re Looking For: We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Experience working in or alongside schools, colleges or education services

• Experience influencing practice within education settings
• Strong relationship-building skills with school leaders or external partners

The role: 

We are looking for an experienced community organiser to join the Northern Ireland team at a very exciting time. The role will be to build power by supporting communities to campaign for environmental and climate justice. 

You will also help grow a grassroots movement for change with a particular emphasis on supporting groups having to deal with unsustainable developments imposed on their community.

Although based in Northern Ireland you will also be expected to work with other related teams across these islands and share local to global stories of solidarity.

Key Skills and Attributes: 

You must be able to listen to, engage with and support communities in their local campaigns as well as joining up issues to effect Northern Ireland-wide change. You will have a deep understanding of campaigning at grassroots level, managing complex relationships and working with diverse communities of people. Ideally you will have a background in the environment/human rights.

In a climate and ecological emergency business as usual is no longer an option so you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of transformational change as well as the need for local and grassroots action. 

We are looking for a confident communicator with a knowledge of digital activism and other forms of communication. You will able to design and deliver support for grassroots networks. You will be flexible enough to juggle the demands of a multi-campaign organisation as well as responding rapidly and effectively to changing external circumstances.

Working directly with groups and activists which will sometimes require evening and weekend work. 

Job share arrangements would be considered. 

The team: 

The Northern Ireland team campaigns on a range of environmental threats – extractive industries, climate breakdown,nature depletion, water exploitation and industrial agriculture.We also support communities on the issues that are important to them. As well as community activity we use our collective energy to make transformational change and strategic interventions at local and central government level. The team can help on campaign strategy, planning and legal matters, the sharing of stories and, crucially, helping people to help each other to form a growing movement demanding change.
